At the Flemington post office on Main Street. One employee helping customer with 50 packages. Waiting 20 minutes already. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called and spoke to Crystal who said she was Postmaster and there was nothing she could do. UNBELIEVABLE!
Flemington post office has become completely horrible!! This is the second time within 2 weeks that I have received a package that was sliced open and damaged and a envelope that was opened as well!! This is ridiculous and is a crime to be opening another persons mail!!
I have a complaint. My son had a face mask sent to him by a friend. The envelope arrived (large, yellow, paid extra for shipping). It was opened. The mask was removed, as was a letter that was included. This has happened twice, once coming to us and once from. I sent my father some masks earlier this month and the same thing happened (they were removed). This is unacceptable and I would like to know what is being done to ensure people are not stealing protective gear!
I would like to register a complaint. A very large envelope from Shutterfly was delivered to our mailbox this past Saturday. The mail carrier tried to fold the envelope in half but only succeeded in doing that partially but then stuffed it into our mailbox. My husband had some difficulty in extracting the thing. That envelope should have been delivered to our covered front porch. We were lucky the contents weren't damaged! I feel whoever was the carrier that day should be given more training or moved to an inside job.
Today, 9/13/17, I waited one half hour in the main st, flemington PO.......one clerk & customers in a line into the lobby! This is not fair to your employees or customers!
Terrible customer service. We have had three instances now where our mail has been delivered to the wrong address. Most recently this occurred on February 21st, 2016. We were tracking two important packages. We were notified electronically that they were delivered, but when we checked our mailbox we had mail for our next door neighbor in our mailbox, and not our packages. We called the post office immediately, and they indicated that the packages would be delivered the following day (not sure how this is possible when they were already delivered to the wrong address). When they were not delivered the next day, we again called the post office only to be told that the website that indicates where a package was delivered was down and they would call back when it was back up. This was human error in delivery. How will the system be able to indicate where it was delivered? The system will tell them that it was delivered to our location, which is not the case. We need the post office to follow up with potential addresses that our mail may have wound up. Unfortunately in this case the packages contained objects worth several hundred dollars. As I mentioned earlier, this is not the first time our mail was not delivered correctly, again culminating in no customer service. In those instances our packages never showed up.
