I moved to Sarasota Fl on aug 17 and requested my mail to be forward to my new address starting on aug 18. Today is Sept 3 and I haven't receive any mail. I just wonder how long it takes to forward mail from state to another. I am very disappointed and I believe it shouldn't take that long Please send me an answer to my email above. Thanks Noble Salem

For several weeks, our outgoing stamped mail that we have hand-placed inside the East Brunswick Post Office has not been received by the recipient. Of most concern is that our bills which are mailed more than 2 weeks before due date are not being delivered to and received by the recipient. In addition, some bills from billers (Xfinity, Verizon, etc) are not being delivered to us in a timely fashion ... however, on a daily basis we receive 'junk' mail, that is to say not 1st class mail. Please investigate this matter & rectify it. We believe the issue lies w/the East Brunswick PO as that is the only PO we use on a regular basis. Thank you for looking into this in a timely manner.

It is totally impossible to get through to this post office by calling on the phone. It is also impossible to send an email to the published address for the postmaster of this post office. Any email sent to that published number is returned as not effective. I had a critical question about a package that presumably is being held at the post office "at the request of the customer" (not valid!). After an entire morning of trying, I still am unable to get through to these people.

I'm not very impressed with the mail service in my area. It comes anywhere between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. Also I have been getting mail that is supposed to go to my neighbors. I shouldn't have to take the mail to their homes, that is not my job.

Within the last 2 months your service has lost 2 letters, which were to pay bills, and costs $30.00 for each letter to void the checks at the bank. This is unacceptable and costs me money. If this happens again I will compose a letter of complaint to the postmaster general, at a minimum.

Tried calling main number - it's hooked up to a fax machine. Called the fax number and that goes to California. Even tried the TTY number and that goes to the main 800 number. The 800 number is useless. Can't talk to it. Won't accept selected prompts. How can you contact this post office??

I'm having the same problems - were you able to get in touch with them via another number somehow?

The staff at the PO are beyond rude - instead of explaining things in a calm manner they yell in your face. Makes one feel as if you are being reprimanded for doing smth wrong. Individuals with no people skills and no patience should not be holding positions in customer service. Will be mailing through UPS/FedEx more as staff are much more pleasant!

This Post Office is absolutely horrible. We consistently receive our neighbors' mail and on multiple occasions have not received mail we were expecting because it was delivered elsewhere and sent back to the Post Office before being sent back to the sender. It is beyond unacceptable! The Operations at the East Brunswick Post Office are an absolute failure. I am tired of having to hunt down my mail, despite providing my correct mailing address.

worst p.o ever. first I was suppose to receive a package on jan 3rd. ok says it was delivered at 3pm. well never received it. here it is jan 30 and still nothing. complained to them. they took my info. and I know for a fact they didn't care. then I go and change my address cause we moved and that was dec. still going to other residencse. do not believ this at all. I now go to milltown p.o. so much nicer and they care.

I don't mail anything important there. Awful service. I get mail from everywhere else...addresses that are miles away, State Dept mail delivered improperly to me instead of the actual recipient, returned mail found on top of mailboxes instead of going back to Post Office....I could keep on going.....

This is the worst post office! They lost a certified letter( containing a two party check for $67,000) for over 3 months. Kept telling me it was long in the post office but they had no idea where it was. After calling or stopping in everyday, they finally found it along with an entire box of other certified mail under a table.Nasty counter people - long lines and horrible waiting time - no one is willing to help when you call the post office and the postmaster blames everyone else and won't accept that the blame starts at the top
