I mailed a package on December 21st for 2 day delivery The package contained chips for my daughters in NY. I spent $32.25 tohave them delivered on time.It has been 2 weeks today and all to North hampton Post office can say to me is I basically wasted $32.25 to have them delivered in a reaonale ammount of time, This is unacceptable. I want compensation for the content of the package and the postal fees Patricia Malloch

On the morning of Dec 8th I mailed about 25 Christmas cards from this office. I took them inside to mail. As of today Dec 18th, not one card has been delivered. I am upset because I hand painted each one of these cards. I called and was told it was because of the storm. I reminded them the storm has not been going on for the last 2 weeks and was then told it was due to covid. Looks like all of my efforts and considered "too bad" and was told I will be lucky if ANY of them get delivered. Not even the local cards have been delivered. This is just unacceptable...Merry Christmas!

While my mail carrier leaves something to be desired, I’ve found the postmistress and her counter staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite all the recent USPS issues, this branch has not been affected. I sell products on Poshmark and FB Marketplace and every package has been handled well and sent along the same day I’ve dropped it off. Kudos to them for continuing to do a great service for all of us during this pandemic and despite the dreadfully incompetent administration.

I don't know what's going on with the North Hampton Post Office, but my mail is supposed to be forwarded as of November 14 and it is still being put into our mailbox in NH. I have made several calls to the post office and they keep blaming it on "the temps" and then when I said put a card in the box that says it's to be forwarded they say that they will "just tell the carrier". Well, Mike's sister checked our box because the post office said they took all the mail they delivered to the mailbox out and sent it to FL and when Claire went to the box there was a stack about 4" thick in the box! So she took it to North Hampton post office and asked them to forward the mail as it should be and they said they would do it. Well that was over a week ago and we have not gotten any mail yet. Claire went today to check the mail box and she said that there was another stack of mail in our mailbox!!!! She even put a note in the box telling the delivery person that the mail should be forwarded and they just put the mail on top of the note! What is going on with that post office!!??! I'm not the only one who is having problems like this either! We have important health info, medical cards, banking stuff, xmas cards, etc all being shoved in the box or somewhere in "limbo" even though they told me over the phone that they have gathered it and forwarded it....nope, they didn't and they lied again! I have 'informed delivery' so I can see they are sending me mail, but it's going to the NH box. I'm calling tomorrow morning to ask them again what is going on. I'm going to see if I can file an official complaint with someone. It's ridiculous!

The current Post Mistress should be reprimanded. On one occasion My husband tried to post a prepaid return package to E Bay. She said it couldn't be done although he had done exactly that before. He immediately went to a nearby PO and mailed it with no problem. She obviously didn't know her job or didn't want to be bothered.
On every occasion I have been in the lobby to buy stamps she has been insulting and or rude to the person ahead of me when the person left she made rude and snide remarks to the fellow PO employee in front of a lobby full of waiting customers. Now we are away for the winter. At her insistence we rented a PO box in order for her to hold our mail. We did that and made out a card for them to allow our son to pick up our mail once a month and re send it to us. Though we gave him a box key he lost the note I gave him for the box number. He told them our name and address and that they have a card with permission for him to pick up mail for us She would not cooperate with him and he said she became suspicious. We are a small town of helpful people We have been a resident here for 55 years. She is the first PO mistress to be so arrogant and unhelpful and downright rude to the people needing assistance

Stopped in to buy a money order yesterday afternoon and the clerk at the front desk told me that I cannot pay for a money order with $20 bills. Mind you I had about $500 in 20 dollar bills - she tried to tell me that she cannot house all the money in her drawer and that I would need to leave to make my money into larger bills. I have never heard of such a thing honestly. Money is money and should be accepted in any increments. Especially since this is a service they provide. Totally poor customer service in my opinion.
