Louis DeJoy is the US Postmaster General appointed by Trump. First thing he did was remove sorting machines by the hundreds from Post Offices across the country, then removed mail drop boxes by the thousands. Next, hired people who cannot read or functionally illiterate. tRump wanted the US Postal service to cease delivering mail in ballots, though the clown used mail in ballot service himself. Previously, USPOSTAL Service and Rural Free Delivery was the pride of our Nation and the Envy of others. A Government Service used & depended upon by all. Then the leadership decided the US Postal Service must fund its own retirement & health care for 75 years. Congress reversed this rediculous idea in May of 2022. Unfortunately Biden does not have the Authority to fire this clown Louis DeJoy, so write your Senators & Congressman. Maybe they can throw the crook out! Recently discovered DeJoy bought millions of shares of stock in the company given contract for replacement delivery trucks. New York Attorney General Letitia James released a statement after Judge Emmet G. Sullivan of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia issued a decision permanently stopping Postmaster General Louis DeJoy from taking certain measures that would degrade mail service and further undermine the United States Postal Service (USPS). In August 2020, Attorney General James led the attorneys general of Hawaii and New Jersey, as well as the city of New York and the city and county of San Francisco in filing a lawsuit to stop the Trump Administration’s attempts to dismantle USPS. The lawsuit argued that significant changes to USPS operations under DeJoy’s leadership substantially impacted USPS mail service in New York and nationwide and posed a threat to the integrity of the November 2020 presidential election. Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, the court granted a preliminary injunction which immediately halted the Trump Administration’s attempts to disrupt USPS operations.

I am so frustrated at the mail situation here in Minot. ITS HORRIBLE AND COMPLETELY BOGUS that there are so many problems. I understand that things happen from time to time and in peak season I expect a slight delivery delay. Bit for them to NEVER answer the phone, being rude to me in the lobby, mail that is ALWAYS ALWAYS LATE and by over a week or even two, and the amount of LOST mail is absolutely absurd. Someone who is qualified for the task desperately needs to be put in position to have authority to DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS INSTEAD OF JUST SWEEPING PROBLEMS UNDER THE RUG AND LETTING IT CONTINUE!!!!! MINOT PLEASE GET YOUR POSTAL ISSUES UNDER CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!

Mail delivery is unacceptable! Numerous times I have received someone else’s mail. My neighbors have stopped by several times with my mail they received in their mailbox. I have been waiting on an important letter for over 12 days that was mailed from within 100 miles and in state. My fear is it was delivered to someone else and possibly disposed of? I talked to the mail carrier about the problem and he stated too many addresses look the same?. I tried to give him 2 letters that I just took out of my mailbox while talking to him that were addressed to someone else, he looked at them and handed them back and told me to just throw them away cause that’s all he would do with them?? Destruction of mail I believe would be a Federal offense?

Like twice a week our mail and news paper ends up at one of the neighbors houses, and instead of them being courteous enough to maybe just bring it over and put it in our box, like i do for them, and i will also knock on there dorrs with packages if i recieve one. Nope they send it back to the post office so if we EVER end up getting it, it's at least a week out from when we should get it. At least 4 times last year we got a paper in the box that was from 2-3 weeks prior, not to mention the bills I never recieved. Also child support letters to inform me they were increasing child support to a ridiculous amount, that I never recieved so I ended up having to hire an attorney for $4800 in order to undo what the child support enforcement changed and since I never got the letter to argue the fact of why they increased it I was stuck paying $1000 a month for 1 kid for 4 months, plus the $4800 for the lawyer and my son lives with me and doesn't even see or talk to his mother. That's my only child, so after about 9000 later I'm still fighting to get the $4000 back that shouldn't have been paid and the lawyer fees will be still increased as I'm still trying to get reimbursed for the money I had to pay so they would take my license. A person would think that after someone delivers maul on a certain route for as long as mine has that they would be able to get it right I even spray painted that 4×4 that the mail box is mounted on black and painted the numbers white so that they can't screw it up, but it seems that they must not actually care weather people get there mail or not. It would be nice if I could prove that everything was messed up on there part so I could maybe have my lawyer go after them to get reimbursed for everything I have been dealing with buy with out proof it wouldn't be worth even trying.

Does not answer phone, won't fix the broken mailbox bank for a neighborhood that has a package in it. Made several complaints about this still impossible to open with the key they leave for larger items. Main post office will not answer the phone to address this. This post office is useless!

Don't be fooled by the postal delivery mess. It's all part of a larger plan to privatize postal delivery. There is just too much of a chance for lots and lots of $$$ in a few pockets. The postmaster general, LeJoy, is the lead man in the effort. If he and his bed fellows succeed it will work for a while but hang on to your wallets after a few years. Keep in mind that postal workers pay taxes, pay rent, buy groceries etc.. I am not a federal employee and have been retired for years and have seen these moves for years - with the predicted result.

My wife sent me a package from this office and I never received it. She contacted the office and they told her the shipping label was never created, although she had a receipt and a tracking number. How is this possible? Hundreds of dollars just vanished.

" The mailbox is full and cannot receive messages at this time" is all I get when I try to call about my mail not going out yesterday. There are bills in that box that need to be paid by Friday and now they probably will not be. I need to know who to send the late fee bills to... This happens several times a year and sometimes more than once in a week. They are currently blaming it on COVID-19. Sorry but that does not explain the whole year.

Tried to call the Minot ND Post Office for over 30 minutes between 4:10 and 4:40 central time. No answer, just a machine. That is not the Postal Policy. I needed to talk to a person and I know there are people there, they don't close until 5:30.
