How long does it take mail postmarked fromn Waynesville to go to Greenville, SC and come back to Waynesville Address? Does P.O. Box mail in Waynesville also have to go through Waynesville if mailed from Waynesville? Thanks

The postal workers at Lake Junaluska PO are always friendly and helpful. Having a box there has been a great thing for me. I really appreciate them being dedicated and pleasant.

This is not my first complaint. Things got better now we are back to cramming packages in the mailbox or hanging them out the mailbox. These are expensive items and all a thief would need to do is drive by and Dtr an them out. Please stop doing this.. I have pictures if needed

Mail carrier delivered mail to our business. Upon leaving he tried to use exit door to find it was locked. Rather than let us know the door was still locked he simply started ranting and using profanity outside our business in a public plaza. Did not appreciate this at all. Attempted to contact supervisor at post office only to have it ring until it stopped with no messaging or voicemail to leave info. Guess this kind of behavior is to just be accepted 🙄🙄🙄. Also lucky if we ever get our mail properly.

The person delivering my Amazon shipments appears to believe that putting packages out in the rain on the front of the garage is adequate, as is putting packages out on the side of the garage in all weather. I can not see either location from inside our home. I believe the postage paid means that packages of this size should be delivered to the front door. It isn’t very far from the garage, there is a wooden deck like surface, not dirty or dangerous, no stairs to climb and placing packages on the porch would provide weather protection. I would appreciate a call or an email to discuss what my expectations should be, and to learn if delivery to my front door is beyond the scope of the delivery person’s responsibility. I am someone who has championed the USPS and yet, this service isn’t up to the same standard as Fed X or UPS. Thanks very much! MC Harrison

package shows delivered. was not delivered. postman has hid . cannot find him on my road i live on. called post office. busy for 10 minutes and then will not answer phone. Waynesville is worst post office you will ever have to deal with. sub carriers are even worse. they show packages delivered when they are not. or they show no access after delivering mail and taking packages on to bring the next day .SORRY PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. WILL NOT ANSWER PHONE.

Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, I had a tracking number, was Out For Delivery and was watching most of the day for my carrier. I saw him go up the hill. I was waiting in my kitchen dooryway and saw him come back down. He drove right on by my mailbox. I waited a few minutes thinking maybe he missed it and will bring it back. I looked at my tracking number again and it showed Delivered!! I watched him drive by!!!! I got in touch with a person via phone and they found where the carrier scanned my package right before my mailbox, but he didn't leave it. None of my neighbors rec'd it. I'm fairly certain this carrier has my package! This was an expensive knife I purchased for my son for Christmas. Now, not enough left to get another delivered. Post Office just shrugs it off like, oh well, sorry. I called back the next day and asked if they had spoken to the carrier and he had called in sick. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible service. Packages are thrown out on our driveway instead of being put on the porch. Neighbors have told us that our delivery person will not come up to the house because of dogs--well maybe you are in the wrong business! More than one time have had notification that a package was taken back because "customer requested to be held at post office" or "delivery attempt made" This is not true. Need resolved ASAP!

This Post Office couldn't find your address if someone tattooed a map on their hand! I've had multiple concessions with the post master and yet my packages still aren't delivered where they are supposed to be. I've lived here 7 years!!!

This postmaster does not have control of his carriers. Repeated speaking with him had not resolve a simple issue of leave my packages on my porch, not at the top of my stairwell, not on top of my mailbox, not on the stone retaining wall at the top of the driveway, and not on my upstairs neighbor's porch. #Smdh

Service sucks. Packages are being marked as delivered, when they are not showing up. The local phone number is not being answered. I have no idea where my packages are, since the tracking info is incorrect. Seriously?

I’m disabled, seems to be not able to have my packages delivered to my door I’ve file with The postmaster in Charlotte about to the inability and laziness to deliver my packages to my home and held at the post office request person which never works I am disabled I am not able to do any picking up heavy packages get here I have to unpack that and then try to bring it to inside the house such as dog food cat food that’s all and now that I read the complaints I’m wondering if they’re going to replace the so-called postal worker transferred him or her out of that area because so they don’t deliver any packages to homes as part of their job I cannot physically get in the car and go to the post office and pick up my packages I cannot pick up anything heavier than a gallon of milk that’s 8 pounds. With that being said this is atrocious service in this part of Western North Carolina so I am going to file another complaint today and just keep filing it until that person is removed or retired or fired for failure to complete their mission and my father worked/ retired for the post office for 32 years and this is the first time I’ve ever had Atrocious Service.....

I have a very important package that was to have been delivered on Saturday 8/15. When I call the company that sent it they have notice from my delivery person that I requested it be held at the PO. NOT TRUE!!!! why would I request it be held when I'm sitting at home waiting on it. I had one package squished into our box so hard that i had to rip it open to get it out of the box. Thandfully it wasn't fragile. I also had an envelope ripped in three places one was completed down the side and no contents. All of this was last week!!!! what in the world is going on ??????

Our post office staff are all wonderful, and so kind that I don't even mind waiting in line for them - under normal circumstances, that is. For some reason my Amazon orders are only being left if they can be shoved into my rural mailbox. They used to leave larger items in a plastic bag hanging on the box. Now I am not receiving an order because it won't fit in the mailbox and I don't want to go into the post office, as most people in Waynesville don't seem to be practicing proper social distancing from what I experience at the grocery stores. The phone in the P.O. seems to be permanently busy (or off the hook). What is the answer?

This is by far the WORST post office there is. The mail lady who delivers to Apple Creek Acres is horrible. I normally don't call people lazy, but she is. She either throws my packages right next to my mailbox (even when it is pouring out) or most of the time she doesn't deliver my packages. She always leaves a slip in my mailbox saying "attempted delivery" no....it's called being too lazy to get out of your yellow jeep to put it under my carport. I try to call the post office and no answer always. Their customer service is terrible. Her favorite thing to mark on the slip when putting it in my mailbox is "no turn around" ummmm…..okay.....how does FedEx and UPS ALWAYS deliver my packages with their HUGE trucks? You're saying your little jeep can't swing around in my drive way? Unbelievable. If you want to be lazy, maybe being on a route that is delivering up in the mountains isn't the best for you....

My post office route driver is terrible, she never delivers packages if they dont fit in the mailbox. Instead she would rather leave a missed you notice and drive her fat ass back down the mountain. Get out of the car and do our job. Never have issues with FedEx or UPS. Also when you call this crappy Waynesville branch good luck getting someone to answer. best part is when you go there, there are two fat woman that walk around and ask if your picking up while a little old man does all the work in the line. So when i call i know there are two that can pick up the phone at least. My driver wont get out of her vehicle, leaves packages in the snow and rain. Terrible service. Should be fired.

I ordered a package from amazon, and I got a notification earlier today saying it was delivered at 9am. Its 3:43pm and I still have yet to see my package. The notification claims it was left in front of the door but it was not. Amazon says its suppose to be here by 9pm but I do not understand why packages would be delivered that late. I need it ASAP, and that does not mean at 9pm.

Our carrier has been refusing to deliver parcels larger than our secured mailbox. This has happened 3 times in as many weeks. I'm forced to travel to the Waynesville USPS to pickup small parcels.
