Sneads Ferry is growing too fast, and this PO cannot keep up! NEED to hire more people. Although I love my 2 postal workers (if lucky to have both at the counter) but having personal conversations with customers when there are long lines is VERY FRUSTRATING! No phone calls answered. I accidently dropped off a box intended for UPS, and now it's "lost". Closing for an hour lunch period is ridiculous! PLEASE ADDRESS THESE ISSUES AS THIS THE ONLY PO IN THIS AREA! Not to mention that many residents MUST go there to pick up packages elsewhere because mailboxes have been removed from driveways, and the "lockers" are not big enough to put large packages in there! It's getting ridiculous & something has to done!

My mailbox lock is jammed, so I cannot access my box (townhome, multiple boxes). Have called repeatedly, but no one picks up the phone. How hard is it to answer the phone??? Now I have to see if I can catch the delivery person. This is ridiculous.

We have lived in Sneads Ferry for over 30 years and I have never complained about the postal service before. However, it has become a major nuisance in the past several months. We don’t get mail until after 6pm lately. Sometimes we don’t get the mail at all. Like yesterday. We also get other peoples mail and my neighbors sometimes get my mail. To make matters worse, no one answers the phone at the post office. Very poorly run agency

You can't get anyone to pick up the phone in Sneads Ferry Post Office they hardly have any staff / or staff that just does not care. I held on for an operator for 20 rings then they hung up on me. I wanted to leave a money card for our mail carrier, but had to drive to the post office to ASK WHY DID NO ONE PICK UP THE PHONE FOR 4/DAYS...I was advised they were busy.....Is this Disney Land..whats going on here?????? What a mess of a Post Office

This is the 2nd time receiving a pink slip that I “missed” a delivery. No. No one came to my door- the slip was just placed in my mailbox due to lazy workers. We were even home!

To post master, I have been being notified more and more, that a delivery attempt was unable to be made. I have a mailbox in front of my house, no packages were left by my door and multiple times my mailbox was nearly empty with space to accommodate the package. I just wanted to bring this to your attention, so this can be mitigated in the future.

To Post Master, I am a po box holder at the Sneads Ferry Post Office. I have things shipped to the post office from time to time. I understand that FedEx and UPS dump on the post office. Today I was expecting a package from Amazon and had received a message from Amazon that the package was delivered on the 21st. I went this morning to pick up the package and it was not there. I returned this afternoon and showed the desk clerk the message I had received. The clerk typed in the tracking number and I was told the package had been returned. Don't you think it would have been a good idea to let the box holders known that you had decided to refuse delivery of packages from UPS and FedEx in advance? Lets say maybe no more packages after September 1 instead of stopping and box holders finding out as I did after the fact!! I plan to share my concerns with the Post Master for the district. Mail service stopped because my mailbox, which hasn't been moved in the past 10 years, was too far back. So I shifted the mail box to be flush with the edge of the curb. I'm still not receiving mail nor have I received another not saying why. It's now affecting my investments and ability to receive information related to my job.

most the workers are nice but whoever delivers the mail has left packages on my neighbors car 3 times and they won't always leave a note in the mailbox to pick up a package. one of the guys that works there actually found my package that was lost and brought it to my mailbox himself. that was very nice

I went to the post office today and got yelled at to leave. I walked in behind another woman and Michelle said “uh uh! No! (Pointing to the door) you need to leave we are closed!!!! Apparently they were 20 minutes over their lunch closing time and she was taking it out on us. I did not need to make any purchases just needed help with a refund I’ve being trying to do for two weeks. She also told the other employees not to help me and threatened to call the post master to straighten me out because I told her she should not be disrespecting customers. She then had the nerve to ask me if I was going to argue with her before Christmas?!!!! I asked her if she was going to continue to disrespect customers before Christmas?!!!

This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with, they pick and choose when they wanna deliver packages. I have complained to the Post Master several times with absolutely no results. It’s time to escalate higher.

I am from Pennsylvania.....I have a Marine son that lives in Sneads Ferry...........Marsh Haven Rd to be precise. The USPS apparently can NOT find the street!!!! My local Post Office looked up the address, it is a valid address. I've actually seen the street.....amazing that the Post Office can't find it. Other residents frequently report the same problem with missing mail. I've made 4!!!!!!!! attempts to mail a letter. All 4!!!!! have been returned "not deliverable as addressed" "unable to forward" Typical inept govt employees. Poor performance and no repercussions. One letter could be a simple mistake, four letters are massive incompetence. I tried calling the Sneads Ferry post office......no answer. The USPS runs MASSIVE deficits for myriad reasons,,,,,,,mostly stupidity......yet whines about more taxpayer bailouts. SCREW them.......let them go out of business because many locations are run by total LOSERS.

Worse people ever the refuse to drive down a completely leveled road to deliver stuff. But they will tell the company you order from they try to drop it off at your house. When I was outside all day and no one showed up all they do is lie there buts off to make them look good. They absolutely Shady people if you ever order anything try to go thou net fedex or someone else.

I waited all day for a delivery from Amazon today. Waited all day. Never left my house for one minute. Amazon said it was delivered! I thought no way because I knew my delivery wasn't going to fit in my mailbox even though it is a huge one. I checked my box and there was a notice that they tried to deliver. It's a lie! Our mail carrier was just too lazy to deliver to me.

Tried to call them all day long morning until closing and the number rings and rings until a computer voice says the most obvious thing ? I'm sorry the person you are calling is not answering the phone call now! Hello then what are they doing in there? Its not a very large building and the ringing must be driving them crazy!!

have not gotten my people mg last week and have had this happen before i pay good money to get the mg .this never happen with our old post person she never missed it was always del.on time and that was on thur every week now if i get it am lucky if it is here by sat. please repair the problem.

If you are busy, pick up phone and tell me that! Don't pick up and hang up!!!!

Have had two envelopes put out in my mailbox LOST in one month. Both contained checks. One going to Jacksonville took 10 days, the other going to Charlotte has never arrived in 34 days. Had to stop payment at bank and pay $98 in costs for non delivered check so far. Will no longer use Sneads Ferry Postal Service for mailing anything.

I live at Topsail Reef condos, and mail person not sure which one it is, have seen two females delivering. Is constantly putting mail in the wrong boxes. Amazon order "small envelope" left in a neighbor's box. Mail I get is always someone elses. Can you please talk to them about getting it right. It's really not that hard.

I was suppose to have a package delivered to me by last night n now they changed my date on me when i spend my.money on stuff they need to have it their when they say they will im ex army n honestly i hate the entire govt including every part of it cause of bs like this smh usps should be shut tf down if they cant.do.their jobs

Why does this post office close at lunchtime? It's absolutely inconvenient that folks cannot run to the post office during their lunch break. They could stagger the breaks of their employees to allow for service during the noon-1pm hour! By the way, the door lists the week day hours from 9am-4:30pm. No mention of being closed from noon until 1. False advertising. :-(

Consistantly does not provide home delivery/pick up services on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. I have had letters and bills sitting in my mail box for pick up, on two separate occassions (separated by at least 3 months each), for up to 4 days awaiting pick up. Also, FEDEX regularly redirects pkg deliveries to the local USPS for this region, when the pkg arrives at this USPS add ATLEAST!!! one full week to the delivery time... essentially forget applying for Amazon Prime and get your bills in the mail early!
