I had my Christmas cards in my mailbox for delivery to be picked up.
I looked and my flag was down and my cards still in the mailbox..
They are damp. And have mailing stamps on them..
Why didn't the mail carrier pick them up out of my mailbox box..

Had a Registered Mail package sent to my home. Instead of the Postal Worker driving the jeep and making and attempt to deliver it to my doorstep. He actually put a note in the mail box which stated I had to drive to their location to pick it up. It stated on the USpS receipt that no authorized recipient available. I watched him just put the note in the box and drive off without attempting delivery of the package. I waited all afternoon to sign for this parcel. This is utter bullcrap and laziness!!
Rural Hall Delivery postman too lazy to put packages on door step. Drove up driveway into yard leaving ruts. Also several neighbors complained about wrong mail being left in their boxes.
Poor customer service! I complained at the Rural Hall, NC P.O. that my carrier often leaves the door to my mailbox open. The carrier left a note yesterday that he or she cannot close the door because the post is loose. It is true that the post is loose, and I will have that corrected ASAP. In the meantime, I have seen other mailboxes on my street hanging open as well, and I'm sure they don't all have loose posts. To close securely, my box requires a click in addition to a push, which would take an extra 2 seconds. I also have a complaint about the USPS poor customer service. Your toll free number has a 35-40 minute wait time, and the local PO line always rings busy. So many businesses fail to provide good customer service because they don't hire enough employees to answer their phone calls. Instead, they choose to run their inadequate staff in the ground my overloading them with calls. We are all busy, and our calls deserve to be answered in a decent length of time. Like most people, I need to get back to work! The USPS needs to hire enough customer service agents to provide service in a reasonable period of time.
My mailman drove through my yard to access the mail box which was even harder for him to access. My mother parks on the road a good 3 car lengths back due to her not being able to walk up the steep driveway. I called the post office to speak to a post master and he wasn't in but I was told by the "fill in post master" the driver was told not to do it again. He lied and said he didn't have room. What he didn't realize I have cameras!

I sent a package from Ocala, Florida to a buyer, William E. Lowe of Rural Hall, North Carolina.
Went straight to the post office to be delivered in 3 days time then mysteriously got lost the very next day and sent to "Dead Mail."
When all was said and done, WEEKS LATER, they sent my original package label back to me saying that the box MUST have been damaged and the contents FELL OUT.
So when I asked if there were any CONTENTS lying around because they would be the CONTENTS that FELL OUT of the EMPTY PACKAGE.
Not another word.
Ever.
Period.
No recourse but to lose a lot of money due to COMPLETE and UTTER STUPIDITY.
My local Rural Hall Post office is so helpful! Theresa is especially been helpful, when I want to mail a package to family. She finds the most efficient box or envelope and helps me to decide on how much I want to spend to ship it.
