Why have a phone number, if nobody ever answers. I have called 2 days in a row and never got ahold of anybody.

My son and now I have had a hard time with our payments/ money orders being delivered. Out of the 4; I have had made out 2 are missing. They are a no show at the places of business. They say it can take up to 60 days to get reimbursed. It didn't take 60 days to give you my money for those money orders to be purchased. My son also sent a payment and it didn't show up at the place of business. He finally got his money back. What's going on in the P.O. that the mail isn't being delivered? This affects our credit when this happens to. Very disappointed in the U.S. Mail in Mayberry NC!

No one will ever answer the phone. Ever. This is a huge issue that should be resolved.

We have been trying for several days to call the MT airy post office, one time we actually got thru, and was rudely hung up on because the girl said she had to get back to the window, my wife didn't even say why she was calling. Extremely rude. Then, no one would answer the phone for the next 2 days. Still trying to get thru.....

Approx: 9 am this date, December 1, 2020 I was at the Mt Airy Post Office. A couple of weeks ago I had sent a Christmas Card to a physical address and it was returned due to no mailbox at the residence. I marked through the physical address on the envelope and wrote PO Box on same. I didn't ask for the Box number just if she would fill it in for me and put it in the proper box, she refused and gathered up a couple of boxes on the counter and left me standing, no explanation...no nothing! I was going to put another stamp on it but she cut me off before I could get that far. Sad, she could not extend one simple act of kindness. I retired from the Surry County Sheriff's Dept. nearly 18 years ago and treated people like I would like to be treated. She needs more people skills training. No wonder more and more people are using their computers than the PO these days. Questions.....336 755 9326

Went into the post office today and was picking up some certified mail. I left my slip at home, but gave Lisa my name and address. I have NEVER in my life had to deal with someone so hateful in my life. Everyone in there is SO nice and friendly except for her. I was truly mind blown with the customer service she provided. I understand some days may be harder than others for some people, but there is no reason to treat someone like she did!
