I had a package listed as unable to be delivered because access was blocked, but the rest of my mail was delivered. I tried 3 times during open business hours to call the Monroe location, but the phone would ring endlessly and then just cut off. Not very helpful. We live in a neighborhood and no one could tell me why access was blocked when I had to call the 800 number.

Nothing like racism in today’s world where people should strive to be kind! I went to Monroe post office today to return a package. I had my slip printed ready to go! I went in, the lady in the middle (she refused to tell me her name) just looked at me and I walked up and said I would like to return this. She said “you need to get a package for it”. I said ok which one. She points and says “over there you can find one”. So I go find a package and pack it up. Get back in line. She says “you need to buy a roll of tape”. I needed ONE piece of tape to tape on my print out. I said you’re not very accommodating are you? You don’t have a piece of tape? Which she did. She just looked at me and said no. She refused to tell me her name. In fact laughed when I asked! Then said my supervisor is in there if you want to talk to her. I just grabbed my package and will go to the next post office. I get it lady. We’re not the same color. But you have a job to do. Regardless! You applied for the position. If you hate it, quit! There’s plenty other people looking for work that’s much nicer than you, happy to be at work, and would accommodate me with a piece of tape. So for the a$$hole lady in the middle of the Monroe post office today, I hope you never need medical help and are dying, because in my line of business, we don’t get to choose how we save you based on color, attitude, etc etc. So you’re welcome! I will pray for you and your miserable life!

My packages get stolen and lost all the time and no one will do anything about it. My wits in came when my daughters 16 birthday present was taken out of my mailbox and they just go owell

I have never experienced so many problems with the post office as i have with Monroe . This time I Ordered a 8x10 area rug from Amazon. They used the Monroe post office to ship. It always a big issue…. The driver wrote that the item is too large for the mailbox amd left and took the rug to the post office to be picked up. The whole point of ordering it was bc I don’t have a vehicle large enough to pick it up. Apparently delivering it to my home like every other Amazon purchase is too hard for the drivers on Monroe post office. Atleast once every other week I do not get my correct mail. Try calling the Monroe post office to fix this is like dealing with robots and numerous phone numbers to get anyone to help. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional, forget about customer service, that’s not provided at Monroe post office. The worst !!!

The mail carrier uses my driveway like a NASCAR driver. The house has 3 loads of fresh gravel. This carrier has ruined the driveway. all the gravel is in the yard. I have asked to not use it like a "Bat-turn". what an a- hole. Stop stakes will put an end to this.

Unbelievable….I posted a package on the 12th of Jan., 2022 paying extra for insurance and next day delivery with signature of delivery. Package left this area only to be returned to same post office next day. Never even shipped to address on package label…now tells me I am to pick up or it will be returned!!!! Returned to me? Returned to where it was shipped from and never left?? What is going on???

Several mis-deliveries for others dropped at my house. Called support and they said put a note on the mailbox. Left the note, carrier took it and never came to get the mis-delivered packages. Has been several times this year and I can’t think of a time it’s happened before Covid. What the heck? And all over Nextdoor people complaining about bad deliveries. Something is way off.

I live in the country and usually have good service from my regular carrier. Today we had a woman carrier that was so rude. her language was something you would expect from a gang banger. We have dogs that do bark when someone comes in my driveway which is a long driveway. when we see who it is we go out. When my daughter went to the car, she started cussing and saying she was not going to get out of the car, we didn't expect her to. She said she hated fuc**ng dogs and hated the fuc**ng country. She went on about how the dogs were barking using other cuss words. My daughter just turned around and walked away. I don't appreciate her attitude or language. We told her we had barkers and did not want her to get out. She should be reprimanded for her language. If someone should call me I will give them my address and hope she never comes here again.

Had two packages one from amazon and one from ebay both trackings said they were delivered on 11th and 12th of feb but they were not delivered here so where are they???

I had a hardcover spiral bound book shoved in my mailbox and the binding and spiral are broken. Packages are being left on top of my mailbox. At the road, for anyone to drive by and take. I’m disabled and have a bin for packages to be placed in. The driveway is an easy turn around. This is totally unacceptable. My normal carrier is diligent about putting my mail and packages in my bin. If the hired help sucks—fire them. I called several times to report this and after 3-4 mins the line goes busy, do I can’t even report this.

Today, I received a text FROM USPS informing me about the delivered package left at my garage. Nowhere to be found! THIS IS THE FOURTH package that the USPS has NOT DELIVERED TO ME in the past two months. Really screws up every small business in town. I have emailed and emailed, also called and called and called the local USPS here in Monroe and still can’t get a person on the phone! I will apply for a job there if they need employees so bad! What the heck is wrong with the carriers when a text of delivery was made, but must have been delivered TO THE WRONG PERSONS HOME???????????? Seriously FOUR packages!? Really people!???

Why does this po pick up or have items dropped off and they just sit for weeks!! You’re hurting small businesses and they’re losing customers because don’t scan packages in and ship them!!!! I’ve had something there for a WEEK and still isn’t scanned in!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I ordered something last week was to be delivered by UPS. UPS transferred it to the United States Postal Service in Monroe at 12:13 PM yesterday 11/03/2020. it was supposed to be delivered yesterday by 9:00pm. It was not when my mail was delivered today it was not delivered today either I tried to call the Postal Service at Monroe using the phone on the web all I got was static he like a fax machine nobody answered the phone so I need to check on my package but am unable to reach a human. The review for this service is five thumbs down.

Sad to say, service has been so bad, I don't understand how anybody still has a job. FACT: just yesterday 8/31/2020 I pulled into my neighorhood at 5:15PM and saw our local mail carrier at the 2nd house on the street (our neighborhood consists of 2 streets) it got to be 8:30 last night and we still did not have our mail. So glad I didn't have mail that needed picked up to go out. It is sad that if I do have items that I need to mail, I have to make a trip to the post office because I never know if they are going to get picked up or not. Never know if or when I am going to get my mail and half the time, my mail is delivered to the wrong house (down the street) and then I have to wait even longer to get it. Wish I could get paid what these carriers get paid and do the shitty job they are doing. If you are shorthanded, do something about it. The customer should not suffer because of your issues.

carrier often changes. One refuses to deliver packages if my 16 lb dog is outside despite my speaking to her and letting her know the dog is friendly. No one ever answers the phone. Just want my package that usps tracking has said will be delivered for the past two days. Big fan of usps but you guys are dropping the ball.

I have called our post office in Monroe NC every 30 min. every day for a week and cannot get an answer. I know I have the right number, because I checked with Wingate ,NC post office If anyone can please tell me how to get them to answer a phone I would appreciate it. I am an invalid and home bound, Thank you...

I'm sorry to tell you that you are screwed. They don't pick up the phone and don't answer and it takes 50 minutes to get to the call center for USPS by phone. If you like their service, wait till government takes over healthcare.

Driver will not deliver mail if car in vicinity near mail box. St. John’s forest Monroe nc 28110. Just pure laziness also has been seen just tossing packages on front porch without any regard of contents. Maybe he should leave if he doesn’t like his job

I have called about 5 Post Office and no one answers the phone the only one who did was Wingate. And the lady was very friendly and helpcul! She told me good luck they NEVER answer the phone even for them. This is very upsetting this is what our tax money is spent on it was very important that I try to locate a piece of mail

I have tried and tried to call the phone number of the post office but no one ever answers. We are having a problem with the delivery of our mail when there is a substitute deliverer. We have no problem with our regular carrier, She does a great job. But yesterday when the sub stopped the flag was up to take the mail she just left it there and put our neighbors magazine right on top of it. Sometimes when there is a sub we get our neighbors mail and sometimes they get ours. Looks like these subs need some more training or something needs to be done to stop this. We don't want these people handling our important mail. Looks like we may just have to start taking it to the post office ourselves to make sure nothing gets lost. --GCP.

I have lived on Marshall Court in Monroe North Carolina for 18 years. My mail carrier for the past 2 years are a little better has really dropped the ball. We receive a lot of mail and packages due to the fact we own a local business in the area. 50% of the time our packages get delivered to one of my neighbors along with my mail, and checks that we receive Etc. Thank goodness most of my neighbors know us and will bring our mail to us as we do for them because this is a constant with this route driver. I have dug 8 by 10 photos that are bent out of my mailbox too many times to count that say specifically DO NOT Bend. I really hate that I have to Lodge this kind of complaint however this has not gotten any better, my daughter also lives in the area and has the same mail carrier. She is another one that suffers through this. We have purchased a PO Box in Indian Trail for all of our business needs, however I have five grandchildren and I order quite a bit for them so I'm still in the Dilemma

On a regular basis I get mail that should be delivered to my neighbors and don't get mail that I'm expecting. On Tuesday, January 9, 2017, I received mail for 2 of my neighbors who live on either side of me. Also, we usually have a different person delivering the mail each day. Sometimes its a contract mail carrier (drives their personal vehicle) and other times it seems to be a regular carrier who drives a marked U. S. Postal truck. My address is 3009 Lanaken Ln, Monroe, NC 28110. Although I have nicely asked on several occasions, I would like the postal delivery truck to stop destroying the brick work around my mailbox. I just paid 2 men $135 this week to repair the brick work. Also, I would like for the post delivery person to start picking up/delivering my mail on a more consistent schedule. Some days the delivery is skipped. Yesterday, the outgoing mail was jammed to the back of my mailbox. The new delivered mail was jammed in front. One was a box that was tightly wedged into my mailbox. Thanks, Leslie Rivers
