I am in Charlotte for a few months and have my mail temporarily delivered here. I have had nothing by negative experiences with this post office. Every time I try to call this office the line is busy. Why don't they ever pick up their phones? I had a package delivered and was tracking it. Apparently it was out for delivery but sent back due to non sufficient address. I called the USPS postal center about my package and why it was sent back. They told me they were not sure since they had the address correct. They said the label may have scratched off or something and they would send it out for re-delivery. I told them to deliver it to my front door and I have yet to see my package. It has been 3 days. I called them again, line is busy. I went to the post office, no package there. My package is sitting in a black hole somewhere. This office is a joke. I have never had to deal with this back home or any other post office for that matter.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN CHARLOTTE. Carrier had a package for us today, and rather than place it on the doorstep, he threw it about 20 feet instead. Good thing it wasn't glass. I've tried calling several times today to complain, but the phone is always busy. Guess that way they don't have to listen to complaints. No wonder Fedex and UPS are running UPS out of town. Good riddance.

PISSED off customer! Left work 2 hours early to wait for a package (RX glasses) that was "out for delivery" and required signature,according to tracking info. I heard the mail truck in the neighborhood,so waited downstairs at LR door for my package which required signature. After a few minutes, no longer heard the truck and there was NO KNOCK at the door/ringing of doorbell. I go to the mail box to check the mail and my mail was delivered, but driver apparently TOO LAZY to get out of truck to have me sign for my package which was NOT DELIVERED!USPS wonders why they're losing money and can't compete with other carriers?? Here's your prime example as to WHY you're customers LAST RESORT!!

I agree with you. My fiancee and I are having terrible experience with this post office. BE AWARE! Our carrier is opening the mails looking for checks, signing packages on my behalf and keeping the items inside the envelope. After we complained about her now she is retaliating. She is sending our packages back to original departure knowingly and intentionally just to be vindictive. This is like a nightmare. I am constantly watching the tracking numbers on the website, watching her from the window to see what she is doing next. She also left our mail purposely to neighbors's mailbox to make it very inconvenience.But why??? Because we did not let her keep stealing and destroying our stuff. I have evidences what she did. I am putting all the information together to take to the Police Department. We complained about her to the managers but I do not think they are going to take any action against her.,.

This post office is absolutely horrible like most others! Full of lazy government workers that do not want to do their job. Called the other day to ask why a package was not delivered to my home and got a very RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, LAZY guy named CHRIS! He did not want to look up my tracking info and update me as to what was going on. He actually huffed and puffed when I asked him to please find out why my package was not delivered. He finally decides to look into it and gives me a false reason as to why my package was not delivered. I don't know what has happened to the post offices of the United States of America but the worker are the most LAZY and INCOMPETENT people ever!! It amazes me that these people get paid well and great benefits to be such bums!
