My mailbox is continuously left open by one of the mail carriers for the Carthage mail. I put a note in the box once and ask them to make sure they close the box. My mailbox has been left open several times and has had very important packages left wide open for anybody to take if they felt like it. When I call the post office I get no answer the phone just rings and then there's a busy signal afterwards

If the mail person delivers the mail but doesn't take the mail we have in the box with her, tells me she is blind or just doesn't give a flipp about her job duties. This is now happening for a 4-month regular sometimes even 3 days in the row and the mail I try to send will arrive late.

I have called the Carthage NC post office several times notifying them that the mail man will not deliver my packages to my house. In the past month I have had over 10 boxes I have had to pick up because the mail man claims he is afraid of my 10 year old black lab that is locked in a 8 foot high fence with electric wire! He is just lazy and rude. The supervisors will not fix the problem. I order from Amazon who did use UPS and I had packages delivered right to my door. Now USPS will not deliver. I want to get my mail man fired. It is Christmas and he will not deliver my packages. I get home from work at 6pm and cannot pick them up from the post office when I sign for redelivery he still will not deliver! Please help.

Horrible service. I have had so many packages mysteriously disappear from their carriers. Instead of this office doing something about it they blame the homeowner.

Why is the post office closed from 12-1 ? This is the time when working people are off for lunch and can go to the post office.

Ever since they hired new people, the customer service has been an absolute joke! One of the main ladies has a HUGE attitude. I had to pick up a package and she basically didn't want to help me and told me "no, we don't have any packages today". The looks and the rude remarks that came from her was shocking. Dealing with a small town post office I've never run into so much disrespect. I've never had a problem up until now.

I've dealt with the same attitude in the past, don't even go up there, unless i have no other chose. I've been dealing with postal workers going all the way in my garage and dropping off packages and not coming to my door. Have called in the past about this and nothing was done. If you can walk all the way in my garage, then you can walk up to my door and set the package down and ring the bell. Getting really tired of this!!!
