I just happened to check my Amazon account for status of delivery. It said delivery had been attempted by USPS. I checked my ring camera and no delivery had been attempted nor was the notice left like the package tracker indicated. I rescheduled delivery and attempted to call the Carrboro Post Office to confirm but no one answered multiple times I called. This also isn't the first time this scenario has happened. I'm not saying the delivery personnel are fabricating but my ring camera didn't show anyone for an hour on either side of the time they said they were there.

Today, for the 4th time, I have gotten a USPS communication that my package was out for delivery in Chapel Hill, then a notice that it's been delivered to a "parcel locker" in Carrboro. I don't live in Carrboro, nor do I have a parcel locker. I have tried 5 times in the last 1.5 hours to contact the Carrboro post office and NO ONE answered the phone. For me to go into the post office I must 1) take off from work 2) drive to Carrboro 3) PAY to park 4) wait in line. The days of customer service are indeed dead.

Very disappointing dealing with the Carrboro USPS Supervisors. They lack customer service skills, they are rude AND unprofessional. My package was never delivered and there is no recourse, just their word. They want the vendor to resend or for me to eat the cost and reorder. A Simple Question: why can't USPS show proof that my package was indeed delivered like Amazon does with a photo? Both Supervisors were defensive, unyielding and unable to provide a reasonable resolution Instead, they are accusatory towards the customer and exceptionally unprofessional Be warned, if your package doesn't arrive, we'll too bad for you, there is nothing they will do!

My mail was delivered to the wrong address 2 weeks ago, I could never get a hold of them over the phone. I had to leave work early to make a visit in person, they said they would investigate it and send a carrier out to the address that it was delivered to. I was told to call back in a day or 2. I have been calling multiple times a day for the whole week and the phone has not been picked up once. Sounds like I will have to leave work early again, SMH.

During the past three years, I have levied numerous thefts of my mail. I reside on Smith Level Rd. area, and I have levied reports many times. I have had to hire a private investigator, as my identity has now been compromised. Just recently, my Carrboro Post Office held my mail for two months. They claimed that this was due to a broken mail box at my community, but upon visiting the office numerous times to retrieve mail, the postal workers there lied to me directly. They never could seem to find my mail when I went there to collect it. I worked for the usps for several years, and I can assure you that all mail is thrown in a three-sided case. It is then pulled down in reverse order. They continued to lie to me each time that I went to collect my mail, and the supervisor actually threatened me because of my diligence. I was told that they could not find the mail, because there was so much back there. That was a lie. There was an actual damaged cluster-box on my premises; however, there were two remaining in tact, and there was plainly no reason for the mail to be held for two months. Remember, I visited that office numerous times, and it was always a lie, or some sort of hatred coming from them. The supervisor actually told me that they do not fix mailboxes, another lie, but upon writing about this on social media, the mailboxes magically got replaced by new ones. Let me add that I have informed delivery, that is a daily photo image of the mail that I am going to receive that day, so I know when something is removed from circulation. I have had social security mail, personal banking information removed, debit cards removed, and new accounts opened without my permission, which only the postal workers had access. My second stimulus check was released on a previously closed account, and it was released by the social security administration, which makes no sense at all , because I was updated to a new account of my choosing, prior to receiving the first stimulus. Every time I have inquired about missing mail to them, it is always put back on me, as though it is my fault. Clearly, these beings have no idea how the world works, much less embody any compassion or empathy in depth. I am old-age Hebrew, by bloodline, and I have been treated terribly by these people at the Carrboro Post Office. I always hate to venture to this subject, but these people that I talked to are complete racists. We either open the dialogue for all , or no one at all. This theft was a combined effort of numerous organizations, and I have to say that I still have active debit cards, of which, were taken out of my mail. This again, is how they were able to pull off this scam. My private detective said that I had collected wonderful information, but now we have a connection between SSA, DSS, USPS, and there are others that won't be spoken here. I implore all of you whom read this to hold this office accountable. They work for you, not the other way around. That supervisor needs to be fired immedieately. I am still missing about forty-four thousand dollars from SSA, but I know where that went.

My neighbors and I have about a concern about our mail deliveries in the last month. I live on Old NC 86 in the Union Grove area near Arthur Minnis Road and New Hope Church Road. My mother who lives on New Hope Church Road has the same problem as well. In the last month, the mail deliveries to me have gotten very late. We do not receive any mail until after 6 pm everyday. We have normally been receiving our mail in the mid-afternoon (around 3 pm). Some neighbors have not received their mail for a week. What is going on? Every time you come to this office the clerk's are exceptionally rude and unprofessional. The only person who tries to help is the big guy with the glasses he always goes out of his way to be of assistance helping many people at once as possible. In a small town such as Carrboro this post office is the most convenient place for people to bring their mail but when you have clerk's who are as rude as the ones who service this office on main Street I will travel a little farther from now on.

We have never had so many problems with our mail getting lost and getting delivered to other addresses and not getting delivered at all! This is the worst we’ve ever experienced! This is a chronic problem and very concerning

The Carrboro, NC post office gives daily reaffirming proof, through bad customer service and lost mail (signature confirmation items for in-store pick-up of mail) why everyone should only use FEDEX & UPS for delivery of important documents and stop using the US Postal Service.

Our mail on Pleasant Drive hasn't been picked up Sat.,nor Monday, which is a worry for me as I had an important scheduled payment that I expected to have been delivered by today or tomorrow.
