I was at the Waynesville Missouri post office at 1:50 today 6/30/22 the hours on the door says 9:00-5:30 Monday-Friday, however the door was locked and a note was taped to the top of the door saying “closed for lunch from 12:15-2:15 sorry for the inconvenience”. I have had a P.O. Box there for over 40 years and have never seen it closed for “lunch” before. It’s no wonder that they are going broke. When you call to complain about it all you get is a run around on the phone and never an option to actually speak to a person. Piss poor way to run a federal facility. If anyone knows of a phone number that you can speak to an individual please let me know.

I guess I am on a Rural Route outside of west Waynesville because we have had a number of different drivers but now see a regular mail truck. My only wish is that they STOP FORCING valuable orders to fit in my mail box. It is not uncommon at all to come home and see a package wadded up and crammed into my mailbox hanging out the front in the rain. Also please learn how to close said mailbox when we don't have large packages wedged in to it. Thank you

I tried to call the Post Office but received a recording. I have a complaint: the mail person left a package beside my mailbox at the end of driveway instead of bringing to the front door. Is this a new procedure???
