I visited the St Louis Post Office on Clinton Ave on
Tuesday, 29 December 2015 around 3:30. I was
waited on by a very rude, surly, antagonistic woman. I can say it is an example of the worst
customer service I ever experienced. I
served 30 years in the Air Force, been assigned to 14 different locations to
include, Iraq, Germany, Korea and this is this Post Office wins the award for
worst customer service ever. The postal
clerk seemed to hate her job and customers.
She was unhelpful, unpleasant, unprofessional, angry, hostile and
rude. I am not sure how she keeps her
job? I guess the USPS tolerates this as
I read many of the reviews and the comments on Yelp and Google and there are
lots of negative comments.I would rather deal with a robot or kiosk than an employee
like the one I dealt with. Like
McDonalds, maybe it’s time USPS replace employees with a kiosk, it is cheaper
wages, no benefits and a machine will provide better service. This woman needs to be fired. At first I thought I may have been just me. As I observed her engage with 3 other
customers it was the same horrific customer service. In fact one young lady was there to get a
passport. She engaged with the same rude
employee but unlike me she refused to take her verbal abuse and left telling
the rude employee she would take care of this on line vs. dealing with
her. The rude employee tried to make
amends but the customer was fed up and left.
Great job USPS, don’t be surprised when you are privatized because you
have alienated the very people/customers that pay your wages. FedEx would go out of business if they
treated customers like this.

I live right down the street from the Clifton heights po but am going elsewhere from now on. I hate to say it but every time I go there I get a scowl, no hello, they are rude and act like you're an idiot if you have a question. They give a bad impression of state/gov employees of which I am one. If you want to be mad and unhappy, do it when you get home because we notice. You are STILL customer service!
