Saturday, December 2, 2023. There was one employee working the counter this day. The only customer she was patient and kind to was a lady applying for a passport. She spent 15 minutes on this lady while 8 of us waited. Weary from that interaction (I suppose), she became very rude afterwards. She snapped at us and was very short. Two people eventually stormed off, and she talked about them as they left. Very unprofessional. I had questions about my transactions. She pretended to not know the answers. She knew. When I asked her to repeat one of her answers, she snapped at me causing reactions from other customers. What did we do wrong? This is not the same post office I have been frequenting since 2008. We see new faces often, and they seem to not stay employed there for long. When I left, I had a feeling that she was going to throw away my package. What can be done to restore professionalism at this location, please?
