I would like to replace the four mailboxes in front on my house. They are old and look like they are about to fall down. What do I need in order to have my handyman replace the existing structure with the same design, in the same location and with style mailboxes? Do I need permission from the neighbors that share the location? I am doing the replacement and nothing is asked of them

Our young mail lady speeds excessively in our neighborhood when delivering mail. I have tried to call and/or email a complaint and there seems to be no easy mechanism. We are in a private community in west Bloomfield - Zox. At 3:35pmnon sept 20, she was going so fast she almost ran us over. Please fix this! Unacceptable to go over 25 and given we don’t have sidewalks, the driver should be respectful and slow down when passing people. There are dogs, kids, deer, people and other things all over. If anything, please let us know how to file a complaint without waiting on hold for 1/2 hour or more. We have a truck number and description of driver. Thank you.

You are extremely rude to our residents when they come for their mail. You have not installed YOUR locks yet so they do not get their mail delivered.

We were in the west Bloomfield post office location and the woman postal clerk was the rudest person I have ever run across in my life. She was condescending, very unhelpful and for right Nasty! If she were my employee and treated customers like this she would be fired immediately. The USPS is already on shaky ground, with competition from Fed Ex and UPS, so I would think employees would want to keep customers by treating them with kindness and courtesy. Thank God there is one fantastic employee there, named Tom. He was a jewel. The other woman was the reason we will never be back. She was middle aged, approximately 5’4, lighter/medium complexion black woman with a bad attitude. No, a TERRIBLE attitude. Please let her know we as customers can always go elsewhere if she doesn’t want our business. Thanks.

I have a package that I was supposed to receive 3 weeks ago that is apparently stuck at your post office for whatever reason. Every single time I try to call your number to ask what’s the deal here NO ONE bothers to answer the darn phone! I’m getting really fed up and I’m in Macomb Township and I shouldn’t have to drive to your post office but apparently that’s what I HAVE to do! I’m not going to be too happy!! I’ve had enough of this!

After having some one month of delays in getting any mail, except flyers in my new box. I went back to the lady, a middle aged African American lady, about 5' 6" tall, carrying a little extra weight like me, a medium Afro, and dressed nicely at the last station on the right. She was the same agent I had gone to the first two times when I was having problems, and informed here after a month, I still wasn't getting any mail, asking her what might be the hold up. She said it could be in the back, or in the Main Post Office in Detroit. When I became exasperated and asked her if she could check in the back or leave a note, she became very defensive, acting as through I was attacking her personally, which I took care to explain I frustrated about the System and Lack of Process Control. She informed me I should escalate to the Office Manager, which I did, but that is another complaint.

We live at 4470 Rue Demers W. Bloomfield, our mail is chronically weeks late. I received a call Tuesday 2/23/21 from our insurance carrier a premium bill was mailed out from their Lansing office on 1/14/21 and had not arrived at our home by 2/22/21. This is happening with increased frequency. US Mail Service has become unreliable. We are forced to find alternate means of receiving and paying bills and communication.

My mailbox #9 at Turnberry Park was found open twice on two separate occasions. I have both keys to access the box. I have not had an opportunity to speak with the mail carrier but I am very curious and anxious to find out how this may have happened.

There is a man who works at the counter in this post office who is extremely rude and sarcastic. He made a sarcastic comment to me 15 years ago about my father's death, and to this day I still avoid dealing with him. I should have gone to the postmaster right then and there and demand something be done about him. Grey haired guy!!

The customer service at this location in West Bloomfield is severely lacking. I had a passport appointment scheduled and the postal worker (female) who handled it was rude from start to finish. I had my young children with me to get their passports for the first time and she was obviously annoyed by this. She carelessly tossed our documents and photos around and presented a negative attitude the whole time. I had filled out a portion on their forms wrong, and she walked away shaking her head, rolling her eyes; clearly upset that she had to get me a new form to correct this mistake. She was unhappy and unhelpful from start to finish. Before we left, I made sure to apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused, and the only response was a look with a "Pfft." Totally unprofessional and not fitting for the services of the USPS. If you need passports or any other face-to-face service, I would recommend you steer clear of this location.

We must have been served by the same individual!!!!! I attempted to rent a USPS PO Box at this W. Bloomfield location. Since I had never done it before, I went to the Service Desk, an African Americal lady, middle aged, about 5' 6", with a medium afro and well dress. She was very friendly explaining the Form to here, and later went back to her to have it checked, which she approved. After, several weeks I did not receive my mail, I went back to her too find out why, and she stated it was because there was a different address for the PO Box, that the Post Office, which she missed the first time she checked. She wasn't very helpful on how to change the situation to I went back to my Home PO Office in Farmington and They fixed. me us.

Westbloomfield P.O. IS THE WORST!! Package held for 12 plus days... went to P.O. they couldn’t track the number. Spend 35 minutes there. Seems to be a lot of unnecessary walking to the back to track a package. You would think they would have a computer up front to track. The lady with the brown hair is very nasty. She needs to retire.

I was supposed to receive a package on 5/18/2020. The tracking number I have, 9500 1109 5268 0135 5176 97 shows it arriving at the Detroit distribution center on 5/15. Tracking indicated it left Detroit on 5/22 (one week later!). It arrived at the West Bloomfield Post Office on 5/22/2020. I keep getting text messages my package is enroute. Enroute to where, because it is not at my house. I have tried calling USPS and the WB Post Office---no one answers. If I do not hear from someone within 24 hours, I am going to the WB post office, to see where my package is. Supposedly, it is there.

This is the second time in two months that I have not received my weekly issue of Time magazine. In addition, it is rarely delivered on Saturday as was the case for years. Now it often doesn't arrive until Monday, or like this week, not at all! Please see what is causing this problem and correct it.

Something has happened within the last year that has changed our mail delivery service. We receive mail at all times of the day and night, or sometimes not at all. What is going on? How can we count on getting mail that is important to either go out from or come into our homes with such unreliable service. I have tried speaking to the carriers, but it is not always the same person. How can you help?

I have called this post office on multiple occasions, because of missing packages, or late deliveries. They do not answer their phone, I have called at different hours of the day on different days. Awful service, I always try to use UPS or Fedex now because of how bad the service is .

I submitted a "temporary change of address" for both of the above from 6120 Westbrooke Dr. 48322 to 9509 Cottage Pointe, 49720 for the period from 05/02/2017 until 09/01/2017. While it seems that we are receiving important mail forwarded, out daughter-in-law is still finding "junk-mail" put into our Westbrooke Drive mailbox. Please have your mail carrier stop filling our box with that stuff, as you have done in past years. Thank you, William B. Lichtig & Barbara Kopitz

Very frustrating . No one answers the phone. Called several times first thing in the morning, right after opening. Very polite voicemail recording, put me on hold, then rang, then disconnected.

Tried to call and when I was transfered to the "operator" it rang 10 times then went to a busy signal. This has happened at least 7 tries. The reson I've tried contacting the PO is a concern regarding my Monday deliveries. Often the mail doesn't arrive until after 6 p.m. and has come as late as 9:00 p.m. I also will often receive mail which was supposed to be delivered to a different address (makes me wonder how much of my mail goes to the incorrect address). This past Monday I did not receive any mail, which is not ordinary, but I did check the mail box next door (the house is vacent and for sale) and sure enough, my mail was in the ex-neighbors mailbox.

this place is terrible -they are holding my mail hostage - been trying to reach someone on the phone there for 2/days - there were supposed to restart my mail delivery after my vacation hold - been waiting two days now for my hold mail - however they have delivered the mail that has come since the hold was lifted- can I get all my mail PLEASE!!!! A package was delivered during the hold period - which they returned - as they said I was not home when they tried to deliver it. HELLO - you are supposed to be holding my mail - remember- and now you tell me I was not home? The phone just rings and rings then hangs up. These people are idiots - I vote to close the post office period.

THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE 90% Of the time, & when they do, they are a bit rude! When I asked them to leave a message for the Windows Manager to please call me back, NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK OVER 2 MONTHS AGO!!!! TODAY 12/11/2015 I tried to call them 11 times and no one ever answered and I was never left with the option to leave a message as the phone call was cut off each time after me wasting 2 minutes of my life each call! This coming Monday or before, I am going to either call, email, or fax the above information to OUR USA POST MASTER GENERAL so that she know how un-professionally this West Bloomfield MI USPS Branch is being "Managed"!!! No wonder USPS is loosing MILLIONS of dollars each year, BUT I ASSUME THEY JUST WRITE IT OFF ON THEIR TAXES!!!

Can't call to get a simple question answered, all lines go to voice mail and all voice mail boxes are full. Will now need to drive all the way over and won't know if I am bringing the correct documentation . . . Very frustrating.
