Don't plan on getting your packages without going to the main post office to pick them up. 4 times now USPS has refused to deliver packages to my address in the last 5 months, 1st reason can't access drive- no snow on the ground, dry conditions and our drive is 3 cars wide. 2nd reason animal interference- wrong answer, our dog was sleeping in my dad's room at 8:33 am that morning and has no access to the front yard. 3rd and 4th reason- no secure place to leave package... umm you have no problem leaving them on the porch before and there is almost always someone home, so we know you never even knocked on the door. And what is most frustrating about all this, UPS and FEDEX have no problem what so ever getting/leaving my packages for me during this entire time. Sounds to me like someone just doesn't want to get out of their vehicle and walk 20 feet.

Horrible service. Missed deliveries for days, will post they can't access your driveway even when it is clear or in the summer months when there is no snow.

I was at the post office on Union St. on 12/13 around 12:30pm. While I was mailing my package there was an elderly woman inquiring about moving her mailbox to the other side of the street. I asked her why she was thinking of doing this and she told me she lives on Long Lake Rd. and there have been a lot of recent accidents there. The male postal worker rudely told her it could not be moved for the safety of the drivers. The woman then asked if the safety of the drivers was more important than the pedestrians and he responded "yes". The woman looked upset and then left the post office. I was shocked and I didn't even know how what to say. The woman who was helping me was empathetic towards the woman and said someone had inquired about this same thing yesterday and it was her impression that the issue was brought to the head postmaster. I really hope this is the case. As a social worker in the ICU I've seen a lot of pedestrian accidents in the past few months and most people in our community are aware there have been some deaths related to these accidents. I hope you will be considering the safety issues involved here. The way this woman was treated was very disrespectful and dismissive and I was appalled by this postal worker's behavior.

Horrible service. The 800 number doesn't let you speak to an agent. Acts like it's going to, but then goes to full automated after forcing you to enter your tracking number. Otherwise it'll just disconnect. When calling the actual phone number, it eventually just disconnects after ringing for a long time. I tried this several times. Yes, this was during business hours.

5/26/21 4:15 pm date/time at post office. Please make your signage consistent. Let me preface this by saying, I understand postal employees are under a lot of pressure these days. Let me add, we all are. I had forgotten my mask in the car when I walked up to the post office. I stopped short. Then I saw the sign on your door: "masks recommended in our lobby." Phwew I thought, fully vaccinated and fully aware of CDC recommendations, I assumed this agency of the government was just conforming their recommendations. I was VERY WRONG. I headed to my PO Box and saw a slip to go get a package at the desk. There was only one person in line in front of me, and again, I had taken the time to read the sign on your door, so I believed I was in compliance. I got in line. Immediately, another lady filed in loudly complaining about the poorly designated 6 ft apart waiting stickers in the line--"how could we be expected to form a line in this kind of chaos?!" bringing the somber mood always encountered in a post office even more somber. At this point, your cashier kept looking at me furtively. I had no idea why, remember, I did not know my very presence in the lobby without a mask was being taken as a personal threat to him. Yet. He interrupted what he was doing to shout, "you, you got a mask?!" He started to grab one from a box he must have had under the counter. I replied, sincerely and taken-off-guard, "your sign said it was recommende--" I was interrupted by your red-faced employee, "Oh yeah, well it says right here you need one." He then pointed to a sign that purportedly said that on it, but was turned towards the case it was next to and away from customers. He literally grabbed the glass divide on his window with his hand that wasn't grabbing for a mask and pulled himself towards me. I know logically in retrospect that he couldn't actually have lunged at me from there, but my fight or flight response didn't. I immediately started shaking. "Take it easy, I'll come another time!" I exclaimed. At this point the lady who had been complaining about the poor floor signage turned on me, "well that was dramatic," she declared, turning to the cashier and the other lady and starting to prattle about how volatile "us people" who couldn't follow the rules could be. The interaction gave her plenty to glom onto and made me feel even more misunderstood. After all, the clerk at the counter and I have had myriad positive interaction both pre and post COVID, why was he now treating me like I was storming the Capitol? I understand postal employees are under a lot of pressure these days. Let me add, we all are. Please make your signage consistent.

I've had several issue with this post office. 1. My friend in Reed City sent me a package back in October. When I hadn't received it she went to her post office to inquiry why. The Reed City Post Office found out it had been sitting somewhere in the Traverse City Post Office. It took their prompting to get the package to me 6 weeks after it had been mailed. 2. The package I sent to my sister for Christmas had 2 gifts in it. It arrived in Seattle torn and one gift missing. I had put that package in the mail the first week of December anticipating a log jam of mail as Christmas grew nearer. 3. I put two cards in the mail for my grandchildren, to the same address at the same time and they arrived a week apart. This has happened more than once. Now I put the cards in a larger envelope to mail so they arrive at the same time. From now on I will be mailing all packages from Fed Ex. Which is really sad because I have done my best to support the Postal Service in this past year.

They need to fire Jonathon Clarke and file charges for voter fraud. For telling his carrires to backdate ballots. What a piece of shit he is and the word stupid wouldn't even start to cover his stupidity.

I know when my package left amazon and I know when it arrived I Traverse city, it showed up on my doorstep almost a month later after amazon had already refunded my money, when I opened it one of the cans if catfood had been cracked and it was full of maggots I am pretty sure it wasn't like that when it left amazon, especially as I was awakened by the sound of the package being thrown at my front door. I tried calling the post office but I never got through to a human being just one of those ridiculous automated answering services that didn't work right I know I am a bit horse I caught a cold from running outside barefoot with wet hair to ditch the box in the garbage now I can't go to work because I am coughing and I am going to have to pay for a covid test before I can go back, so thanks USPS I wish amazon would use another carrier you suck
