The drop box at the Portage office has been non-working now for over a year. I can not drop off packages after hours or on Sunday due to this issue. When will this issue be taken care of. I hate taking them in the lobby and putting them in a bin and worry that someone might take it.

Hi I am not very happy right now. I ordered some pictures to be delivered of significant sentimental value. The stiff envelope that they came in was clearly marked DO NOT FOLD. My expensive reproductions were Folded and stuffed inside my mailbox. Why?!?!

The counter people have the patience of a saint. I've seen the interactions and, no matter the ire and frustration of the customer, I have never seen nonprofessional behavior from an employee. I, too, have not been perfect in addressing (i.e.: APO..) or packaging. I have allays received help with guidance. Have I experienced a lost or delayed package? yes. Am I perfect? No. Was it the end of the world? Maybe it felt like it at the time. 99% of the time I have no complaints...that's pretty good in my world.

Thanks for not delivering my package today even though the tracking information stated it had arrived at the facility last night and was out for delivery today. I'm glad it wasn't my much needed medication that gets delivered through the mail but still, how about delivering all of somebody's mail instead of worrying about getting the job done as fast as possible. This wouldnt have happened if my regular route driver was on duty today and not some substitute in a hurry.

Today after much frustration trying to get through to someone on the 8777 number (as I often do) I called this office directly and talked to Bob. He answered almost right away and was extremely patient and helpful. I also ship items that I make weekly and everyone at the desk has always been very pleasant and efficient :-) Now if I could just consistently get my merchandise delivered in one piece or at all, I will be a very happy camper!

BEWARE when going into the Portage post office. Not all of the employees working the windows are wearing masks. Only one of three was wearing one today and of the 4 other workers I saw, only one of THEM was wearing a mask.

I am missing a package that was allegedly delivered on May 1, 2020. It says it was delivered to my mailbox by a postal worker. The contents of the package were not even small enough to fit in a regular mailbox. I find it very interesting and suspicious that there is another review below mine where goods were stolen from a mailbox. Hmm. Maybe you guys should look into the person on this route here in Portage.

Instead of labeling the man by the color of his skin, why not find out if he hand delivered your tasty treats to Robert. Accusing people of stealing is not fair at all, when they are required to take things from our mailboxes and deliver them to folks they are addressed to. Please don’t judge someone who is just doing their job!

We left homemade cookies for our regular lady & happened to see a sub get the mail that day. I thought, he must be needing a boost today! Next day left more cookies for our lady & got to speak to her. Told us he brought them back to the P.O. with a note for her saying which address left them. He didn't steal them! What makes you think your sub did that? Please tell me it's not because of his color.

So you put something other than outgoing mail into your mailbox which I believe that alone is a federal offense since mailboxes are only FOR MAIL. Then you complain when the postal worker removes said item from the box? Who cares if you put someone’s name on it? Be a whistleblower and admit you committed a federal mail crime yourself by using the box for something other than mail and accusing your “black” mailman of stealing it. Racist much??

Worst part, shes convinced herself that she’s right to the point of publishing her own address publicly which is not the wisest move. Robin King, you are not only racist, you are not a nice person in general making assumptions without true merit. Threatening others while committing a Federal Crime yourself by using your mailbox for something other then mail. You blew up in this post about committing crimes when you yourself are guilty and you even admitted to your own crime while calling foul. Please pick up a mirror instead of a magnifying glass. And pray the post master doesn’t file charges against YOU for using your mailbox in an unlawful manner.

I must comment on this post as well. I have had a couple gentlemen of color who've delivered mostly packages that aren't on the regular schedule. (I get a lot of mail.) They did an awesome job! Friendly and accurate. Were they in a hurry? Yep...but you know what, when you have a load to deliver and expectations from a company, you have to hustle. I also have left treats for my carrier and I've also chatted with substitutes who've stated they'd leave the treat for the carrier who normally serves our neighborhood on their desk. And the regular carrier did get them. And frankly, I don't mind a sub getting them either!!!! The post about the "black mail carrier" stealing fudge is exactly why fair skinned people are called racists. Please try living the Golden Rule. It truly makes life wonderful!
