For the last month or so, my mail has been delivered more than a month late. Where has it been going? Yesterday, the postal carrier delivered my neighbor's mail to my mailbox. I walked it over and placed it in their mailbox. Shortly thereafter, I received an alert on my phone letting me know that this is the 2nd day that my package would not be delivered because the carrier could not access my postal box??? He seemed to be able to deliver the wrong mail to the box. I called the postal number for over an hour. It rings endlessly and then goes to busy/disconnect. Shame on you, Dearborn Heights! The city is going down the drain. The neighborhoods don't even look the way they did 10 or more years ago. Trash thrown on lawns/streets. Mail that isn't delivered. I hate to admit that this was a city that once was beautiful, and you were proud to be a part of. Over 40 years of living here and everything is garbage. Shame on you Dearborn Heights Post Office and city leaders.

Wonder where my mail went. Try contacting post office at (313)792-2518. Continuous ringing then switching to a busy signal. Cmon Dearborn Heights post office; stop embarrassing yourselves and get your act together.

This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. Try calling this post office to ask a question and see if anyone ever answers! I made 50 call over in one day. Every time I call I get transferred to “operator”. The phone rings for 100 seconds = one minute and forty seconds exactly before it hangs up! Terrible 😢

Last week a neighbor delivered our bank statement to us, it was put in their box in error. On Nov. 21, my sister sent us a 60th anniversary card with gift card, It is now the 30th and we have not received it. We asked our carrier what to do and she said "I have no idea". Last Winter I put a card out for our mailcarrier to take, a neighbor found it in the snow across the street & returned it to us. I received my neighbor's Credit Union statement. This is serious business, she needs a reprimand.

I sent a pkg on 15 Oct from Texas. The tracking shows it landed at the Dearborn Heights facility on 22 Oct. There is no further update after the 22nd. The intended recipient has not received her pkg. Is ur facility really that far behind? The tracking # for my pkg is 9500114173591288832317, which I know by memory now, since I have checked on it so often🙄. I have called, 313 792-2518 & it ask me to wait to be connected, then it disconnects🤦🏽‍♀️. I pray someone is actually reading this & will work to resolve the issue. I know things r hard since the pandemic & I don't take it lightly the service u provide, so thank u all for working diligently to deliver our mail & packages. Be safe🙏🏽 & Merry Christmas. I look forward to hearing from u.

I have family who work for the postal service and I know for a fact that he works sometimes 80-90 hours a week making up for the employees who don't report to work. Unfortunately no one wants to work anywhere right now. My complaint - same as it's been for almost 10 years - getting someone else's mail or when it rains my mail is soaking wet. My carrier is busy talking on phone while he delivers and when he's not delivering I am very happy. I wish he would retire. Makes me wonder where my mail is going. I live Warren & Inkster area.

In the last few weeks I have barely been getting mail and when I do it is not mine and most of the time not even on the right street. Also, my mailman has decided to park right in front of the stop sign on the corner of silvery lane and midway streets while he is delivering to surrounding houses almost causing accidents near my home ultimately being a nuisance.

I am so tired of receiving my mail at 7 pm at night . I can’t get to the bank air pay bills because I’m always waiting. This is rediculous . I Have always received my mail by 2 pm . You need to hire more people instead of letting carriers work over time and do two peoples jobs . This needs to change. 😕

I never really thought twice about what the postal service do for me other then home deliver my bills. However today December 31, I learned... I dropped some mail in the mailbox and informed the construction guy the check was on the way. He told me he's no longer utilizing that address on his business card. OMG!!! I called and spoke with the supervisor of this Dearborn Post Office she had an employee meet me at the mailbox to return my mail around 5p.m!! ON DECEMBER 31st. I thought that was SOOO KIND OF HER to keep me from GOING TO JAIL trying to get my $$ out that mailbox. We both realized my mail must have been picked up already (SMDH) the employee (mailman) told me to go to this Dearborn Post Office and see if they would try and find it for me. I'm thinking... I'm SOL, it's New Years eve, late and people want nothing other then to GO HOME AT THE END OF THEIR SHIFT... However when I got there, it took the staff a while because I waited for what seem like HOSTAGE HOURS!!!! BUT THEY FOUND MY $$$ I MEAN MAIL!!!! I definitely will be sending them lunch in my appreciation. THANK YOU AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

This office is the absolute worst and most incompetent. They cannot handle package delivery whatsoever. I have complained several times and nothing. I never know what carrier a website uses until I have this problem. I cannot understand why they can deliver mail but not packages. If you can avoid them as a carrier, please do at all costs. They will not ring your doorbell, leave in parcel locker or at the leasing office (if you're in an apartment). I have to call and pick up EVERY SINGLE TIME. The carriers will come all the way to me, scan the package, and then say no one was home or no secure location. WTF is the point of that?

I was waiting on a package of medical supplies from Amazon and the tracking through Amazon said it was "directly handed off" on Nov. 9th. I wasn't home, so I contacted Dearborn Heights Post Office with what I knew. It turns out that after speaking with the Customer Service Supervisor, my package had been scanned 5 or 6 houses down from mine and was left at the wrong address. I was told that they were going to send a carrier out to check and I asked for a call back from the supervisor; which I never received. I went into the post office on Saturday, Nov. 10th and spoke with the Customer Service Supervisor. He told me that they couldn't go door to door and ask about my package (that they misdelivered), because they didn't want to offend their customers. But, he had no problem telling me that they know a lot of customers say they don't receive there packages, when they do. He had no problem offending me while implying that. I was told "mistakes happen" and it was a busy time for them. I was given a very insincere "I'm sorry". I asked again to be called back and wasn't. I ended up making a complaint through USPS consumer affairs. I was connected through a conference call, they explained the problem and I was told that the Post Master would call me and it didn't happen. I called again to consumer affairs and was actually connected to the Post Master and he said he knew a little about my situation, but wanted to know my side. He said he was sorry, that he would speak with the Customer Service Supervisor when he got in and promised me a call back by the end of the day; well that was Monday, Nov.26th and I have heard nothing and today I'd Nov. 29th. There was never really any concern from the get go about my package being misdelivered. We unfortunately live on a "swing route", so I never see the same carrier. When we had the same carrier all the time, I Never had these problems. What I take away from all of this is that, I guess they pick and choose what customers they don't mind offending or responding to. The worst customer service ever!!

Postal carrier unprofessional, have official size slot on door for mail. Postal carrier informed my 7 year old daughter that he would no longer deliver mail until I bought a mail box. Day prior found my mail scattered on my front porch. The mail slot has been on the door since the house was built and never had a problem. Now this individual is demanding I buy a mail box. Next letter is to post master.

I've been in 8th in line for one hour along with many others behind me. One person at the counter is doing passports. Twenty minutes with one customer and left for break. 15 minutes later a worker came out and took next in line. No one at counter now , line is outside the door. This has to be one of the worst offices I've ever been to. Now, a worker just came out and said it would be at least an hour wait. How do you effing government workers sleep with yourselves

My mail was not delivered on November 13, 2017. This is the numerous time that this has happened. I have seen the mail carrier on the next block sitting for over a half hour. Then was no where to be seen. After waiting all day for very important information in the mail. My mail was still not delivered today. Then ontop of that my mail has been opened on several different occasions and also when mail is delivered it it very late in the evening when delivered. Why any of this is happening is beyond me. I would like these issues addressed and taken care of. Please contact me via email. Thank you

The mail carrier in my neighborhood does not use the sidewalk. He walks across everyone's lawn, even if they don't receive mail. I had new sod laid last year, and I really do not want a path across my lawn because the mail carrier is too lazy to take a few extra steps. Can anything be done about this, without jeopardizing my mail deliveries?

I was concerned when they closed the small Dearborn PO branch at Telegraph and Ford Road, but I've been happy with the staff at the Dearborn Heights PO. I'm in nearly every day as I have a PO box and seem to always have something I need to mail immediately. Of course, no one likes to wait in line, and that happens at times, but the staff has been friendly and informative in my experience, which I appreciate, and so I thought I'd say so.

I honestly feel like They need new workers in general & a new connection line when you try calling. Today I've called them literally four times and I'm done even trying. I cannot get through to one live person, I get disconnected or I get the busy signal, & one lady even answered and put me on hold but of course I was disconnected AGAIN. Enough was enough I didn't even want to try calling again just decided to write a review. I had a simple question about outgoing mail at our house. The mail collectors refuse to pick it up, it's been three days and I had to take it to a mailbox myself. I don't know if it's pure laziness or they don't do it anymore, but it's their fault I I feel the way that I do because I couldn't even get connected to get a proper answer !!

I live in zip code 48125 and have the worst mail People in the world. She will skip your house if there's even less than a half inch of snow that's been even shoveled clearly several times. She also told my name who has no legs that she wouldn't deliver his man because he can't shovel his snow. She has yet to bring me my w2's which should have been here 2 weeks ago. I called and verified so I know during the snow storm she purposely didn't deliver them.Myself and neighbors have called the office repeatedly on her and they still refuse to do anything. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and they refuse to do anything about this particular old lady who has went back on her federal oath. Rain sleet snow or shine. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS OUR TAXES PAY YOU. If this continues to happen the mail can always get voted over to a private contracting company.... You guys will lose your jobs eventually.
