Our packages and mail was delivered down the street to another house

I called ten times with no answer or voicemail. I sadly wanted to check in on a very important package that was wrongfully withheld from shipment. I understand the USPS is under a lot of stress these days, but I really wish I could trust and count on its services. I paid over $200 for the shipment and now have no way to retrieve it since their phone line is not attended any time throughout the day. Hoping that the City of Ann Arbor can help out these employees so it can run more smoothly.

Katrina returned a call regarding a missing package. She was unprofessional, and confrontational from the moment she called. She let us know that the package was delivered to the address on the label, which was an error on the senders part, which we already knew and understood. We let her know that we did go to the address where it was supposedly delivered and the very nice women who answered the door was able to tell us that she did not receive the package either. All we wanted to know from the local post-office is if the package had been returned to them as the main USPS line told us that sometimes that can happen and it may not be scanned in as returned yet. Instead I got yelled at being 8 months pregnant about how this is not their customer service problem and on and on. Also, the question remains, where is the baby monitor that was supposedly delivered to that address, since it was not received there either and they have no proof that it was delivered. We got a refund from the seller and we wouldn't even be bothering with the post office if the monitor wasn't backordered everywhere at this point. All of this by the way after I explained to ther that I wasn't calling to complain or give her a hard time, that I understood the seller was the one who made the error and all I wanted to know is if they had any packages returned. Definitely one of the worst attitudes I have had to deal with.

In such confusing and unprecedented times, you’d hope that people respond with kindness but that’s not always the case. However, that concept was certainly not familiar to delivery supervisor Katrina Simon. I’m so thankful for our postal workers right now, but there’s quite frankly no reason for a grown woman to cut off someone on the phone and ask them to get to the point in such an exasperated tone as you don’t know how everyone else is dealing with the current situation. Disappointed to say the least.

To those who make deliveries to multi-unit, locked mailboxes: Please be aware that the opening in the front of the box (for customer) is not quite as large as the opening in the back (for you). There have been many times when we've had to 'fish' boxes out by cutting, twisting, wrenching, and a couple other actions that are yet unnamed. Please, please take note.

Very frustrated. My package shows it delivered today but there was nothing in my locked mailbox. I called 15 minutes before closing time, waited on hold, the phone was answered, and then hung up. When I called back nobody answered.

This is a short note to give Big Praise & Recognition to the wonderful female mail carrier that serves my residence in the downtown area in the 300 block of S. Division street. She is most courteous, friendly, and very helpful in every way. This nice lady has demonstrated to me what true professionalism is all about, that she really works hard at providing Grade-A customer service and overall satisfaction!
