Postal Locations

I find the local regular mail carrier very helpful. We have a gang mail box here on Page Ave and every time they put a substitute driver on in his absence they screw up my mail. I either get some one else's mail or some one else gets mine. I have called the post office several times in this regard and they say they will look into it or speak to the driver etc. Well it doesn't do any good because it just happened again this week 2/25/20. The regular carrier found my LCN along with my water bill and a couple other letters in the wrong box. Either the substitutes need a lesson in reading or the boxes should be better marked inside. Not sure how the marking is on the inside of delivery side of the box to which only the mail carrier has access to.

I find post office personnel in Wiscasset inconsiderate, vengeful, and lazy! They make good government money to deliver the mail. 90% of the time it is left beside the very busy Gardiner Rd, or at the bottom of a stair way without a plastic bag in a storm. Expecting an elderly, ill woman to risk life and limb to retrieve a box many times to large and heavy for her!! Shame on you all!!

Apparently the hours listed are incorrect. Just tried to stop and pick up a package and was informed that they close at 1630. Nowhere on this page does it state that they close at 1630. It lists 1700.
