On Thursday August 11th I arrived home to find that I had a package delivered by the USPS. My wife received an email from USPS stating “Your item was delivered in or at your mailbox at 2:32pm on August 11, 2022 in New Gloucester, ME 04260.” While the package was left AT the mailbox, it was left two feet from the mailbox IN the road. In times past, packages that couldn’t fit into the mailbox have always been left at door. Please instruct all your delivery people to do so. Thank you. Steve Paone

Doesn’t attempt to redeliver package when I received an email stating they’d be retrying to drop off the pack x3 more times. They have not been delivering our mail as our mailbox was hit by a plow and don’t have the supplies to put back up to wait level but it is there at the same area and accessible. . Packages that don’t require signature should be left in mailbox or on porch or end of driveway and are just being taken to the post office and return to sender. . This has happened numerous times. Also when a signature is required and it’s said they’ll return to deliver, they don’t come back. And when I went to see what was up they had sent back my package, which I never was able to receive in the end. Being a very important document. It was sent back within the fist 5 days they had received it. When i was told on my pink slip it will be held either up to 10 - 14 days before it’s returned to sender. Not very impressed with this postal service. And now when I call the office or customer service desk it is saying they are closed. It’s 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon? What is going on… if you won’t re deliver my package and I can’t come get it… Very frustrating

It looks like mail delivery should not be expected if it snows? I have informed delivery which showed several pieces of mail to be delivered 12/26/2020, yet no mail was delivered. I could somewhat understand if the answer was “we are short handed and storm slows us down” however I see the mail trucks speeding all over town delivering Amazon packages, even though the normal mail does not get delivered. I guess this is what happens when USPS sell their soul to Amazon. Way to go!

Mail driver doesn't pick up the outgoing mail. I have had this happen several times now. Driver actually shoves the mail they are delivering in mailbox and crumbles and bends all the mail that should be outgoing to the back of the box.

Mail is always messed up all over town. Packages constantly going to other people’s houses instead of where they need to be. You mark packages delivered just for us not to have them arrive for days or longer. You need to get your act together. I’ve spoken to the post master and gotten no where. I’ll be making a complaint higher up and have encouraged people all over town to do the same.

I highly recommend avoiding this post office. I arrived about ten minutes before closing because I have no other choice but to do so then, and I was given a very hard time. I've sent tons of packages to the same person overseas in the military and for some reason this woman could not wait to leave and told me I had to do it somewhere else. The attitude and tone I was given was ridiculous. I've never been given such a hard time for sending a care package to my boyfriend in the military. Avoid this location for any overseas packages, their employees will treat you terribly.
