I love my mail carrier! He is always kind and friendly! He has been working there for iver 30 years and he loves his job! Unfortunately, I do not know his name but his route is Summer Street in Auburn..Keep doing a great job...it will be a sad day when you do retire....

So the mailman doesn't like his job it seems. I know it cold and winter sucks but come on I need my mail and he seems to deliver it on his own terms its been an on going problem. So my boyfriend personally ask him what we needed to do to have our mail delivered everyday, he said clear driveway and nothing around the mailbox. OK we did that no problem, should have no problems having mail delivered then right? Well yesterday I had a very important package expected to be delivered even paid more for faster delivery, and when I checked the tracking number it said delivery failure and they'll try and tomorrow and under more info it said the delivery attempted, but doorway or driveway was not accessible. Mind you its been warmer this past week theres no snow in my driveway and nothing around my door everything is completely accessible. You don't like or want to do your job just say that!

I live on Zoar St Auburn Maine, I have not had mail delivery in 2 days, I called the post office today. I told him I am a 68-year-old woman with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis & I have someone who shovels but the carrier must think it wasn't a good enough job because, despite those efforts, she skipped us again. He said he would check in to it & get back to me...no call back came. In the meantime, the plow came back by & just to be sure I went out & struggled to get the push-in shoveled & the path to the porch down as much as I could. It was a struggle for me & no, it wasn't perfect but it was passable for me so I would think a healthy, young carrier would have no problem. No one bothered to come with my mail & the gentleman I spoke to never got back to me like he said he would! What do I have to do to get my mail, I guess I could drive over myself & pick it up BUT OH, WAIT, I forgot to mention I AM LEGALLY BLIND, as I told the man I talked to and if he isn't aware, but should be, the state of Maine doesn't allow even legally but not fully blind to drive! Everytime I ship a package to Auburn, ME the package is marked as delivered. And they even note where the package was left (@ door or in mailbox) However, the package is NOT even delivered yet. It usually shows up the next day or two. This is very frustrating. Packages should never be marked as delivered until the actual delivery is done!

My postal carrier claimed my driveway was to treacherous to access my front door or mailbox yet I made it inside my house with no problem braving the 1 inch of snow out there and funny thing is my neighbor who works for the post office across the street ,who's driveway is in the same condition as mine ,can get into his house too . So I guess our mail carrier just goes home in the morning because the whole neighborhood has the same treacherous driveway conditions. Weird. Worst post office ever!!

Please ask mail carriers to Esplanade Great Falls Plaza to leave packages in "lock boxes" and NOT in the lobby of the Esplanade building. Packages get stolen - sadly - by other residents! Thanks.
