Postal Locations

I have lived in Glyndon for 30 years. I have a 21236 zip code. Sometimes the sender writes Glyndon and sometimes Reisterstown. 21136 is a legitimate zip for delivery for Reisterstown and Glyndon. My recent package was sent back and I was notified labeled “address unknown.” The vendor sent it again and I have just been notified that it is “address unknown.” All the periodicals, bills and junk mail get here just fine. Usually packages too. What’s happening now that they are sent back? If I can be notified “address unknown” then please notify me that you need help. Please don’t just declare something address unknown when the address is correct and has been for decades.

The entire Reisterstown post office needs to be shut down. These women here don’t want to work and it shows in their nasty attitude towards the customers. You can’t even ask these women questions without them wanting to jump down your throat. There’s never enough help upfront and I believe the workers are stealing customer packages. I have lives in the Reisterstown community for over twenty-eight years and the postal workers who use to work here were very professional and polite. These ghetto hood boogers are the worst. My husband and I are both black and my husband even says he doesn’t want to do go to the Reisterstown post office do to the angry black women there. How can it be this many customers complaining and yet nothing is being done? IF YOU DON’T LIKE WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC, GO FIND A JOB SOMEWHERE ELSE IT’S THAT SIMPLE!!!

My friend got word her package had been sent this morning from the Reisterstown PO to the Glyndon PO. She is on an all day Zoom so I went for her and it wasn't there. I then went to the Reisterstown PO and they wouldn't give it to me without ID and address info for her. I returned home got her ID and the tracking number and email that it had gone to the Glyndon one and wasn't there. On this my second trip the clerk was not speaking in a very nice tone saying it is here not in Glyndon and I couldn't have it even though I went home and got her ID. I repeated that the notice came that it was sent to Glyndon and isn't there and she said again in a not very nice tone. IT IS HERE IT IS NOT THERE. and still wouldn't let me get the package. I certainly think she could have explained herself and what happened in a nicer tone and more clearly as it wasn't my mistake and the package is still there. This happened about 2-2:30 today 2/25/22

There a certain days when our regular mail carrier does not work. Like today Valentines day. When he doesn't work our mail is ALWAYS either late or does not arrive at all! Something needs to be done about this other mail carrier. Our mail carriers name is Kevin, and HE is extremely good, courteous, friendly, and VERY nice. I live near Walgrove Rd in Countrey Club Estates.

We leave outgoing mail in the box, sticking out so it can be seen, as people have done all my life. If we have no mail to be delivered that day, the carrier just skips our house. This is new.

I was in the post office after change of address and could not find my mail. looking for a cellular phone I ordered. ?

Horrible post office. Repeatedly has mail carriers scan packages as delivered even though they aren't. You'll be lucky if they show up days after they are allegedly "delivered" and if not you have to ask the postal carriers if they have a package for them to even deliver it. Use alternatives even if more expensive, not worth the headaches.

I have not received mail for almost a week. It is Dec. 22, 2020 and there were three pieces of mail from yesterday. Is someone holding mail somewhere? I am waiting for very important mail!!!!

I went to post office in Reisterstoen 21136. I asked for a passport photo. The lady (younger of 2) working on 9/23 at 2pm was rude and said I had to come tomorrow. She said it was late. However, she stood right in front of me and took a photo of a younger AA woman and would not take mine. Her behavior was rude and discriminatory. I'm going to complain to the the main office. Her attitude was unacceptable as a Federal employee and should be noted.

We do not get our mail a few times a month and I just tried to call to see where it is and the phone number is busy. I have tried for an hour now and it say to hold for operator and then you get a busy signal. I also went in the Reisterstown Post office and was treated extremely busy. They really need to hire new employees.

The Reisterstown location. The people that work in this location are extremely rude. You chose a job in public service you should have a little patience and be courteous to the public you are serving. Everyone has bad days, Don't show me your horrible attitude. Today at 8:50 am I called to get some help on a package, I greeted the lady with a good morning she didn't respond and before I could even say anything else she put me on hold and never came back to the phone. Of course called back she is lucky that I didn't get the same person.

Requested on line change of address thru USPS for my dad. Was told could expect mail in 7-10 days. Called post office as no mail delivered 10 days later. Being told all mail goes to a mail forwarder in Virginia, however they have no phone or contact info. for this Virginia location, so they have no way of being able to check it out! Unbelievable!! Then again, we are talking about our Government.

Saturday 07/21/18 I was leaving my house in the pouring rain when I stopped at my mailbox (one mile from my house) and saw a Priority Medium Flat Rate Box on the ground below the mailboxes completely soaked to the point that the box flaps were open and the two yards of velvet inside were wet. I cannot understand why the package would have been left in the pouring rain without a bag over it. I hope that the Velvet is not stained or ruined.

I was robbed today of my order and am unsure how stupid are the postal employees. Today, 11/28/2016 a used cell phone was to arrive at my home. USPS tracking said it was delivered at 3:23 pm and I signed for it. Funny, bc I was at work 30 miles away at 3:23 and while my wife was home she did not hear of see the arrival of the package. The signature on the package is hardly legible and not even close to a human's signature much less mine. I got a copy of it and will launch a complaint. I guess I'll never see that phone, so with the help of that postal employee I was robbed.

went out to greet my post lady today... asked her how her day was going and was immediately given an attitude about an incident with the previous tenants. said my house was full of drama and drove away. pretty shocked about the whole encounter. she was very rude and unprofessional to me when I was cordial and sympathetic.

I had a package from Amazon that was suppose to reach me by 8:00pm on 8/23/2016 it was marked delivered 5:51pm. I was home at the time. It was not delivered. I need for am on 8/24/2016. I went to the post office was told it went out that day. It is criminal to mark it delivered when it was not. They made not effort to help me. Filed a complaint with Amazon when you pay extra you should get it.

I ordered my grandson a Christmas gift from Amazon and just checked delivery status. It said it was left on my front porch at 1:54pm. I was home at that time and did not receive my package. 21136.

My mom sent a birthday card to my wife in Columbia on Dec. 3rd from the mailbox at the Reisterstown Shopping Center... We still haven't received it as of December 11th.

Have not received mail since last Friday. 21136 Reisterstown, Was told my carrier is on vacation. No one to cover the route?
