Why is the mail being left on the porch and not placed in the locked mailbox? What is one to do when I get home very late and the postperson leaves the mail on the porch? With weather, wind and anyone walking by, they could take the mail and I would not know it. I would rather not receive my mail if the post person doesn't have a key to the box. We don't have mailboxes on our homes anymore only the central locked box in our development.

Post Office is non-responsive. Called to extend my premium forwarding service. Put on hold and the person never came pack to take my information. This has happened several times.

I used to be pleased with the Potomac post office and mail suspension always worked like a charm. However, as of 9/21 we moved out of state and, even though we had requested mail forwarding to our new address in writing and at that post office, as of 10/16 we haven't received a single piece of forwarded mail yet. On 10/2 we applied again for mail forwarding, this time from our new location's post office. We received confirmation from Potomac that the mail would be forwarded but two weeks later we have yet to receive a single piece of mail. What gives?

This post office is horrible!!!! I have had only two packages that have been mailed through the post office and they lost one of them!!! The package was something I bought online over $100 and now they are saying I can't file a claim because no insurance was purchased!!!! The package can directly be traced to the Potomac post office through UPS then it disappears. The company I bought it from has yet to reply to my email and has no phone number. If I am out over a hundred dollars because of this I am going to be so mad!!!!

Every time I request my mail to be held it ISN"T. They didn't hold my mail for Friday and Saturday, I found it in my box on Sunday when I returned home, however, the hold mail slip was delivered with my mail today (Monday). Last time they actually held it, they never delivered it claiming they had. I had to go pick it up. They are incapable of doing any thing right. I have complained numerous times. Doesn't make a difference!

I do not know what is going up on with the post office in potomac the one located across from giant. The employees are sometimes rude or have an attitude. Also For the past couple of months our mail ends up in our neighbors mail box or theirs ends up in ours! The worst part about it is WHY the F**ck when I receive mail, my mail is torn opened !!!!! Please fix this problem and STOP opening people's mail!! And please STOP putting our mail in the wrong mail box!!!!!!!

This Post Office website says an appointment must be made to apply for or RENEW passports. However, when I called to make an appointment to renew my passport I was told that they do not actually do passport renewals, that no other post office will do passport renewals, and that I am required to do the renewal by mail. How ridiculous !

I have been unable to rescind a stop mail order which began on November 11th. I have been trying to do so since November the 12th, but neither phone calls nor a visit to the Post Office have been enough.
