on April 11, 2021 my package was at the capital heights facility. where it has remained. The dumb ass monkeys won’t deliver my package. and every time you try to talk to them, they spin you and tell you some bill shit story about how the package is in new york. The people who work at these local post offices are nothing but lazy people. they need to fire every one of them. Be nice if the people actually cared about the people who they deliver the mail for.

Someone else had mail delivered at our address. They came on our property to meet the mailman and receive mail. This is a business and it is not appreciated. We do not know what type of business is being conducted but we have a right to be concerned.

I keep receiving mail that does not belong to me. and to make it worse its not even my address or city. They scan it and send to my email, which is attached to my address and yet they still send it to my house. I don't know whats going on at this facility but its getting out of hand. then to make things worst they sent my package back to the distributor saying wrong zip code and that I need to do a change of address form and the package has be address on it correctly. I didn't move anywhere so I don't understand what they are doing. Someone needs to step up and get things under control. this office is the worse.

add ANOTHER complaint and as with everyone else, no help from USPS. Package mailed from NJ to District Heights MD on December 26, 2-Day Priority Mail, arrived at this distribution site on time and has been sitting since. No scans, no movement. First case opened the standard canned answer, COVID etc etc. the second case opened after waiting, no response until the other day, stating that “there hasn’t been any movement or scans (I KNOW!) and COVID delays. File a claim if not received by middle of February.” Thanks, but that’s no help with package that is needed. Called number 202-636-1200 a dozen times already and mailbox is always full. What’s going on and when/who will fix this?!

We have a package that has been sitting at this distribution facility since 12/16 headed to Phoenix AZ. Another package shipped at the same time to Phoenix that was routed through another facility has already been received. We have followed up every day & even contacted the facility directly. The facility promised a call back later that day but of course, we are still waiting and now they let the calls go to voicemail which is full. This is after being told that we needed to ship our packages Priority 2 day (at a significantly higher rate) to be sure that our packages would arrive by Christmas. Now USPS tells us that that means nothing and even though the packages are still not there, we will not get a refund of the extra funds. Folks, this is why everyone has stopped using the post office. This is why they are suffering and we thought we were doing a good thing by shopping local, shipping ourselves, & using USPS.

I have had 3 internet orders from 2 different companies arrive at the Capital Heights, MD facility, only to be shipped no further. It has been 6 days since 2 of the packages arrived and 10 days since the 3rd package arrived there. There is no indication from tracking that they have moved on.

In October 2020, I went into the Capitol Heights, Post Office and completed a change or address for one of my organization, both with similar names. However, the post office is forwarding the mail for the organization that was not included in the change of address. I took the mail back to the post office on Saturday, and tried to explain to a male at the window, and he refuse to take my word or help me with this matter. Please feel free to contact me via the email above or at 301-502-9290 in an effort to resolve this crucial matter. Mission of Love Outreach Ministries relocated to 708 Quarry Avenue, Capitol Heights, MD 20743, while Mission of Love Charities is still at 6180 Old Central Avenue, Capitol Heights, MD 20743. Thank you in advance.

Sometimes package mail goes through this lousy USPS for whatever reason and every time I see it on tracking I hold my breath wondering if I will receive the package. Lost several shipments of expensive knitting yarn that disappeared at CapHgts USPS. They must have a racket going on there stealing packages from postal customers. Terrible to deal with, and it is one more USPS that is corrupt...in a bad part of town!

This is the absolute worst post office I've ever gone to. I'm writing this asi stand in line listening to the employees in the back hoot and holler and play games. While one other employee wait on the customer line that has snaked around nearly all of the available space in the lobby. This is freaking ridiculous!!!!

I have been living at 4825 Heath Street for 20 + years and have not encountered the type of service that I have been receiving lately. I am very concerned; for example, my package was inadvertently delivered to my neighbors house at 4828 Heath St.,and lately I have started receiving mail from 4827 Heath Street. Further, I have no clue as to the whereabouts of my mail. This is very serious and I will not allow this to continue any more.

i had never went out of my way to write a negative review about anybody. ever. but this is just ridiculous. this post office is the worst. i don't mean to say that with an exaggeration. but all around the service in this place, is the WORST, ever, that i've seen in my life. packages being ripped open, packages being marked "delivered" while you won't actually see it after days later. THATS IF you even see the package at all. these had happened countless of times already. i hate it that i have to always feel paranoid for the safety of my package all the time when expecting a delivery. seriously, this establishment has to make a lot of changes. that one lady on the front window with the glasses was very sweet and professional. other than that, i hate this post office.

I have had a bad run in on 2 occasions with this location. I now may have a third and if so I will be back. About 8 months ago I had a package that they would not deliver saying it was too heavy. Well I was 7 months pregnant at the time sooooo I could not come get it! I spoke with the supervisor who was ridiculously rude making a statement such as. She cannot help it if I do not like what she is saying> NO NO NO NO first off you don't say that you apologize! Secondly she was missing the damn point. I was asking if they could arrange for a driver who could lift the thing (a Pack n play) to have it delivered to me. Just all around bad service there. Now they are saying they didnt have a secure location to drop my items, which they always had in the past. I rescheduled the delivery and still no package or no note to pick it up. now i am trying to call to get my item :(

My priority mail sitting at this post office. PO I mailed from in VA, has tried to call them, they leave phone off hook. I can't reach anyone in there, either. My PO tracked it from here to DC, to C. Heights, to the town next to it's destination. Then they sent it back to Capital Heights. It has been sitting since 7/8. Will use Fed Ex from now on. Cost differences are minimal, vs the hassle

On 11/3/15 I was speaking to the supervisor Ms. Lockerman about not receiving my mail for a period of approximately 2 1/2 months I have only received 5 pieces of mail while in a hold status at the capitol heights post office. Ms Lockerman asked me to hold on at approximately 8:34 am; I remained on hold until I had to report for my class which started at 9am, without Ms. Lockerman coming back on the line. This group of supervisors are the most unprofessional; dysfunctional group of federal employees and are a disgrace to all the men and women employed by the USPS who take pride and care in their jobs. I filed a complaint at the USPS website the same day, and have yet to receive a response either by phone or email.

Every time I have a package processed through this facility it takes 3-4 additional days to receive it. Baltimore has no issues delivering by the expected date if not sooner. Maybe management should visit and observe the operation there because Capitol Heights obviously has some issues.

this place is corrupt, i sell on amazon and this place is the worst place in america to ship to, i am now refusing to ship any items to MD.5 packages in the past year have mysteriously disappeared with no one to explain where and why, no customer service skills, the phone number at 301499 7771 and 301 336 5650 and 301 336 5651 ring and ring and ring and ring , no one answers and no one cares this is obviously a place where kleptomaniacs and ex cons work and have a great time stealing other peoples hard earned money, but no worries if i ever sell anything to this state again i will def insure the package for 4 times the cost and make my money back from the insurance from now on.

I have attempted to call regarding a priority mail 2 day package....I was given the wrong extension twice hung up on twice and remained on hold out of state for over 44 minutes on two seperate occasions trying to get customer service to speak to a human about where this package could be....I NEVER have experienced such rude or incompetent attitude or behavior. I will be lodging a formal complaint to the postal service. Not that it will make a difference ....I am out a box that needed to arrive ...spent over 4 hours of personal time and aggravation attempting to track the package ...BUT I promise that those involved will be reprimanded!!! No wonder the postal service is bankrupt...let them go under and privatize...maybe then people who care and have some common sense can be hired instead of protected by a union mentality.

I tracked my package this morning and the website stated that I would receive my package this morning. Giving that said, I went ahead and opened up my door. I seen the carrier sit in front of my home and did not get out the vehicle. I noticed him driving to my mailbox and then I went to check the mail. Here I seen the pink slip to redeliver the following day. No one rung my doorbell or knocked on the door. I called the post office and all the representatives that answered were very rude to me and was not making my delivery successful. I still do not have my package. I got hung up on twice.

I'm not sure who's working at this facility, however, once I received several bills 3 months late; luckily I know the dates they're due. I get my neignbors mail all the time, I wonder where my mail (with my personal information) is going. Can you believe that the mail truck is in my neighborhood sometimes at 6:00pm on Saturdays. I can't imagine why this location is still open. Recently, I was waiting on a package that I'd ordered, I found it interesting that it was taking longer than normal, therefore, I went on line only to track my package and found out that it had been returned to the PO because no one was home. I find that ironic because I was home all day and could not find the delivery attempt notice, like the online message stated (perhaps the wind blew away the notice). I called the location and spoke to a worker, she was not very friendly at all. I'm sure the Central Avenue location has to be rated the lowest for customer satisfaction. Truly Unbelievable!

I have no control on where my packages go but if I did, they sure would not go to capital heights.
