I would like to file a complaint regarding my postal service. I live at river run golf communiity. Several weeks ago the postal worker left all of the doors to the mail boxes open. My neighbor went to the post office to complain and was told that they would send someone out to fix the problem. No one came until the next day. Everyones mail was open to the public and anyone could come by and take what they want. We could not close the doors since you have to have a key. A week later a pile of mail was left on the top of the mailboxes. Today, my neighbor came by with a stack of my mail that she said was in her mailbox. I collect dues from owners here and I receive checks in the mail. This is unacceptable.

Where do I start. #1- I watched out the window as the mail handler tossed my package against my door. One Glass bottle inside was broken.#2-Received notice that the package was delivered. No package. The mail handler arrived 2 hrs later. #3-Package was out for delivery. it never arrived. Tracking stated that I had requested the mail handler to take it back to the PO for me to pick up later. Really? So, I went to the post office and manager said it would be delivered the next day. When I asked the manager why this happened, she said " we are shorthanded, and the people here don't know what they are doing." #4-We received no mail for an entire week. Not even "junk" mail. I went to the post office to see if it was mistakenly held, and they said it wasn't and that it may be because the Baltimore PO is incompetent, and their mail comes through them. The next day I received a pile of mail. #5-Today my package tracking said that the item was delivered at 10:58am. Not there, again. Every time I have called to inquire about these concerns, no one answers the phone. The call goes to disconnect every time I redial. I think it's time we privatize the postal system. No one except the government would allow this much incompetence.

Automatated email yest claims that a delivery to my home was inaccessible in the driveway or the porch. Delivered 1:30PM. I was here all day, no cars in the driveway, nothing on the porch to block the mailed package. The driver didn't even go past here til 3:15PM.

We have been customers of this branch for over a decade. When we bought our home here, there was misinformation on the correct address. It was near the end of the year. All of the Christmas cards sent to us were returned "Undeliverable, address unknown" rather than inform us or simply deliver them with a notice stamp that the preferred address was different than written. Our delivery person is delightful. We can tell when she isn't working because we get a piece or two of the neighbors' mail, or like yesterday, our house simply gets skipped and the mail delivered the next day. Forget calling. I have spent over half an hour waiting for a live person to pick up, then have someone surly and terse, fail to even address my concerns. I've spoken to the branch manager (postmaster?) on more than one occasion. He seemed disinterested, burned out, and generally frustrated with the responsibilities of his job. I expect things will never change because it is a government "service." They don't have to respond to customer complaints or pressures from competition since the government has a monopoly on letter handling. Truly a shame, it would be something more resembling UPS or FedEx if only tax money wasn't poured in by power seeking bureaucrats.

Someone is stealing packages that are delivered to our mail boxes. Either the keys to the parcel boxes are put into the wrong mailboxes or the packages never make it to the parcel box. This needs to be looked into!

The mail delivery is sporadic at best, and one of the drivers are rude and if you arrive while she is delivering, she snaps at you, says you're making her uncomfortable and asks you to leave and come back later when she's gone. The manager Maria is also rude. She gets outwardly annoyed when asked simple, but not common knowledge questions. When asking for help, I've received eye rolls and sighs multiple times from her.

The manager at this office MARIA is extremely rude and LAZY! She refused to take anytime to assist me with my change of address. I also places the change of address weeks in advance and this post office STILL HELD MY MAIL for weeks when they were supposed to begin delivering! BAD POST OFFICE but the manager is WORSE!

This post office has claimed to "deliver" two seperate packages to my box in ocean pines within the past three weeks and neither are to be found. I have called and complained and asked them to find the packages three times and have never gotten anywhere with this. Someone else at my cluster box is missing a package as well and has posted a sign asking anyone if they recieved it by accident to return it to her. This is absoultely unacceptable and horrible business practice. I am disgusted with the customer service, or lack there of, that I have received. Obviously the issue lies with the courrier who is apaprently "delivering" these packages.

Yet again, we have two packages that state delivered to the front door and are no where to be found. We have had this issue before and they were delivered to the incorrect address. We are missing two packages. One is very large and the other smaller yet just as important. Please help us locate and have these missing packages delivered to our home as soon as possible.
