I just left this office after a very unpleasant experience with the lady at the counter. I needed to ship a box, which was already packed up and I had the shipping label ready for it. However, I had no idea how to place the label on the box, I thought the postal worker would help. Instead, she said that I need tape for it. I said that I don’t have any, and suggested to get one of those self sticking label pouches. She said “oh, you want one of these??” I said yes, if this would work. She gave me one and placed it before me. I’m like “How do you use this”? She showed me like a mime how to get rid of the backing and place it on the box. Then she said that next time I should put the label in first! I struggled to insert the label which came out really bad, but being the only one I had, I needed to use it. Getting frustrated I asked if she’s not supposed to help with these things? She said she doesn’t have to do it, I said that I expected more from the US Post Office, she said that I am rude! I want to mention that there is another person, a young man who’s really nice ALL the time, but this lady is exactly the opposite! Only because it's a government institution, it doesn't mean that honest citizens should get crap service. To offer a good word and a bit of help didn't hurt anyone...

A full week ago I mailed two cards to an address in Westford and they still have not received them. This is the same problem I had back in January where the recipient finally received the card near a month later. Obviously there is a problem. I mailed a card to New Jersey the same day and they received the card in three or four days. So it seems it is getting out of Stratford Ct o.k. Can you please look into this at your end. Thank You

Twice now we have placed mail in a receptacle inside of the littleton road post office in Westford MA 01886 and some of that mail has not reached it's intended destination. We have called the littleton road, and Nabnasset branches at 2:30 pm in the afternoon just to have the phone ring with no answer, the automation hangs up after 20-30 rings. We are are extremely dissatisfied with these results, and feel a response is warranted.
