I personally think the postal service in our town (Pepperell; 01463) literally sucks. One day the mail comes at 12:00 and the next day it might show up at 6:00 or maybe 3:00. We just never know. I live at 4 Foster Street. Also, it is not unusual to get someone else's mail instead of my own. The carrier gets the boxes mixed up.

Had our mail delivered today after a hold for 4 days. Mail was left on the front step in the pouring rain! There was a covered porch right at those steps!!! Mail was a sopping mess! I know this wasn’t our regular person, Bill, cuz he never would have done this.

I have been receiving a lot of other people’s mail in my box. I have noticed and put in the correct box. However, I have been receiving opened mail with notes attached saying they received by mistake. Didn’t notice. Opened... etc. this mail is PRIVATE! This is happening a little too frequently now. Please ask them to be more careful. Thank you!

We live on a main road and yet our mailbox with bills and packages to be mailed will sit in the box sometimes for days with the red flag up without the mail truck picking them up. If we want mail delivered, we have drive to the post office to deliver it to them. This has been going on for years. We've complained numerous times, but nothing changes. If it snows we still have to drive 50 miles to Boston to go to work, but the post office trucks are not to be seen and no mail is delivered on snow days here. Yet they are out buzzing up and down the roads on Sundays delivering Amazon packages no matter what the weather despite the fact that its our $ that keeps them operating. We've occasionally had to pick our mail off the lawn, sometimes frozen into the snow in our garden, because the mail person doesn't have time to make it another 15 feet to our porch. The exam for the post office says a lot about the idiocy of that organization now - and this is the result.
