Postal Locations

I'm curious to know why the mailbox on Northgate Rd no longer permits packages to be dropped in the box. I now see a bolt is inserted into its side to allow the mail door to open only enough to insert letters. In the day and age of being able to purchase and print parcel postage, why is this convenience no longer available?

Mailed out two birthday cards in the beginning of May from my mailbox- picked up by the mailman and brought to the post office. Just finding out that neither one of the birthday cards were received. One was sent to Go to Dennisport MA, the other to Rutland MA. There was $20 in each card that was completely taped everywhere on the envelope. My fault for putting in the money. However, don’t tell me they both got lost. I know there is an area at the distribution center that collects packages and envelopes that can sit for days Before someone sends them out. So I’ve waited a while to post this. These two cards we NEVER received. So where do you think they ended up?

Not happy that our mailman rang our door bell to have us sign for a package WITH NO MASK ON. I am immunocompromised so this is not only breaking current MA rules but also very dangerous for me

I just had to call the Northborough Post Office about a package that was never delivered...the manager was so rude, yelled at me on the phone - told me to deal with it, it will probably show up another day and when I told him he was rude and asked who else I could speak to he hung up on me. Completely disgusted!
