My wife asked me to mail a package for her today which meant I had to go to the JP Post Office. I must say that my experience there was a totally positive one. Maybe I was just lucky and caught them on a slow day but there was a very short line and I don't think I was there for more then 15 minutes. The line moved quickly and the people at the counter were cheerful and courteous. There were three windows open but one of them was tied up with a very old gent who also happened to be very hard of hearing. The PO worker helping him was very, very patient and kind. The postal clerk answered when asked that his name was Scott which the man couldn't hear so the worker wrote it down on a piece of paper. The interaction slowed the line down a bit but everyone seemed so pleased with the special attention given to this customer that no one seemed to mind. Glad to have something positive to say on this subject and a special note to "Scott" for his genuine kindness.

Our regular mailman, Stanley, is so wonderful however when he isn't available to deliver the mail we have a different mail delivery person who always drops the mail at the front desk (only when unattended) instead of putting them in the clearly labeled mailboxes and leaves the building quickly. They have the keys, the names, the correct mailboxes yet if they can drop it and leave without anyone noticing they do and it drives me crazy.

So i called this place this morning to check and see if a letter from my school just might be there. so instead of answering the phone professionally the woman spoke and a low monotone voice and answered my TWO questions in the rudest manner possible. This post office needs new employees because even when you go inside its like you're getting on all of their nerves.
