What is the purpose of the flag on the mail boxes? If it's for the mailman to know there is mail to pick up why doesn't he stop when the flag is up. I've put mail in box for up to 2 day and they will not stop. I know they passed because I see them . I didn't know the flag was there only if he had mail to deliver then he would pick up mail.
