Do I have to give them even one star? Woodstock IL post office took an immediate nose dive once Julie Komes became "post master" and since then there has been a repeated pattern of mistakes, mishaps, fraud, and a cowardly post master refusing to talk to customers. * Credit card payment mailed from home box then lost, costing me late fees and finance charges. * Hold mail requests are NOT honored, mail stacks up in mailbox during vacation. * Medications that cannot be in freezing weather delivered for mail box during hail hold. * Held mail when there was no mail hold. * Carrier altered mail hold card to mischievously and intentionally hold mail WITHOUT permission, committing fraud. * Constantly getting mail delivered for other addresses. * Found credit card invoice on the ground, outside the mailbox, in the rain and wet. * I cannot count on mailing letters from the Woodstock PO, using other post offices. * They mischievously and intentionally forwarded package FROM Woodstock post office TO Galena IL to delay delivery. * Post master Julie Komes refused to speak to me in person or by phone, she hides from customers. * Post master ignored my request for a replacement mail carrier. * Post master Julie Komes is recalcitrant, unrepentant, and incompetent.

When there are several post offices that have drive thru. mail drops..Why can't Woodstock, get their act together and figure out how to do the same. Not having that service is pretty silly...They are figuring it out at other locations.

https://www.mchenrycountyil.gov/county-government/departments-a-i/health-department/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/business-resources There are county, state, and federal mask mandates in place. Customers are required to mask. Not a single USPS employee had a mask on. Covid surging in McHenry county. Seriously?

I love the Woodstock Post office and the mail carriers who work there. I have always been treated with respect and good cheer at the counter. My father retired from the postal service and he walked in every kind of weather imaginable, it is not ajob for the faint hearted. Our carrier is amazing and we are grateful for him and his wonderful service. Hats off to all of you, keep up the good work. Neither rain nor shine nor covid stops the mail. It may slow down, yes, stop no.

Postal workers refuse to put a hold on mail during a mail theft situation/investigation and claim they are unable to hold mail. Meanwhile, the USPS website clearly states that they CAN indeed hold mail and anything longer than 30days simply has to be approved through the local post office. They just cannot be bothered to do what is required of their job.

I have asked the mail carrier what is the proper way to handle the red flag on the mailbox. Her answer was If I (me) has mail to be picked up I should raise the flag, Not her when she puts mail into the box. This is wrong. The flag is raised whenever there is mail in the box, regardless of who puts it in. The flag is to indicate that there is mail in the box not who put it in. Employees (all) should know this.

That has never been true. As long as I've lived, flag up is the indicator that mail inside the box needs to be sent.

HORRIBLE. Again today NO mail delivery at all....I have a package I was expecting to be delivered today and there was NO MAIL service at all.....again. This happens far too often and no one at the Post office seems to care. Some of us count on reliable service to do business and WE pay the consequneces when this branch of the post offices fails to do their job. Wish the Postmaster gave a darn, but it is painfully apparent that person does not. Excuses are plentiful, SERVICE is not!

Carrier is constantly getting our mail mixed up with the scum bags who live above us, all criminals. Chances are they are getting high on our refund checks. Thanks Gov't employee!

I thought it was just my USPS mail that was being delivered to the wrong address. But today 2/21/2017 with the nice weather, I have talk with more than half a dozen neighbors and ALL of us are experiencing frequent and vastly incorrect letter mail delivery especially on Greenview Dr. And it been happening for months

The worst service in Woodstock. Tracy is terrible as far as a manager. I have called many times and she always has a lame excuse why no mail. Yesterday my mail showed up at 2:30 on a Saturday. We are a business and there is no excuse why we have to wait day after day for are mail. She should not be allowed any customer interaction. Useless ! Another Government waste !
