I just had a postal carrier swear at me, and he threw my mail on the ground at my feet. He said "F-you," while he walked away, I have everything on video.

I only get my mail when they feel like delivering it. I go into the post office to speak to the superior of the carriers & they are never available. I still have not received a envelop that was mailed from Hoffman Estates on April 14th. They also do not take my mail that I put in my mailbox, which has caused some of my bills to be late. And yet, they keep raising the prices?

Hello my name is Michelle shamrock I live at 114 Stevens Drive, Schaumburg ILLINOIS 60173. I am complaining about my mail being delivered late or not at all. My mail was delivered after 7 pm on 21 of February. I have tried to talk to the mail carrier and he is always on the phone. I have lived here for 5 years now and the service has never really been good there has been delays and days I get 4 or 5 of the same advertisements. Like they just want to get rid of them. Please can this stop and can you please deliver during the day. Thank you.

We have not had mail delivery all week - today is Thursday, 11/17 - also I see the truck across the street - never seems to deliver our mail & when we do get mail - I have to go to the front door, side door or sometimes - he just puts it inside on one of the work tables? Really? I have tried to call - no one answers - surprising the USPS is having money issues.

Our postal carrier of many years retired recently. Please come back! We miss the quality service we received from you. I scheduled a pick up of a 2lb box to be picked up with my regular mail delivery. Box location at my front door. No pets to cause danger to carrier. Got home from work, box still there. Yesterday, left a legal sized package and a card in mailbox with flag up for outgoing pick up. Our carrier ( drives a truck and mailbox at end of everyone's driveway ) took the letter and left the large envelope. Now my gift will be delayed by three days since I have to drop off myself at post office. Today is Saturday and Monday is a holiday. I've had to leave a note hanging outside my mailbox to alert the carrier of my confirmation for a package pick up. So frustrated with the level of service. I'll be going to the next town to drop off where the staff is welcoming and friendly. The staff at our Schaumburg office on Schaumburg Rd are as awful as our carrier.

The people at this post office are EXTREMELY RUDE!! The lady in the passport office had no one in her office and I was told by the service clerk to walk into the passport office. The old lady with glasses was not only rude but she also rushed me because she had another appointment. The service clerk (tall black lady with braids) who told me to walk into the passport office was rude when I asked her a couple questions regarding the passport, despite having no one to attend to!! I understand it is a govt job (even I had a govt job but customer service was important and taken seriously). what happened to professionalism and good customer service!!

We have a tradition in our family in which we send valentine cards to our grandchildren when they are little. The card includes cash. My grand-daughter who resides in Hoffman Estates received her card opened & the cash missing. My two grandchildren in Joliet never even received their cards. Such a sad world we live in that I can no longer trust the us postal service to keep up our family tradition.

Absolutely rude staff. There is one lady that is possibly Indian, who is always rude but prefaces her statements with “I’m not rude, but…..” and starts yelling. Please have somebody visit this location and pose as a costumer, a spot check. While there are other postal workers who are doing their best, most in this location don’t. I hope if changes.

Extremely rude staff!! They are not approachable at all. The staff member named Bhavana or something is always yelling at somebody. Whenever I see her I walk out of the line. Charges you for going over ONE ounce! Give it a rest. Not to mention how expensive it is despite the mail taking a month to get to the destination. Avoid!

The staff at this location seems to be overwhelmed. There used to be 2 vending machines in the lobby and if one of them was out of order, at least the other one functioned. Then, for some reason, one machine was moved inside the service area. Customers who hoped to be able to avoid a crowd, now have to squeeze in. The machine in the lobby often is out of order. In short, this p.o. is a mess. If the machines worked properly and both were in the lobby, your employees would have more time to assist customers. Now, there always is a line because you are short staffed.

I live in a home and put two mail items in my mailbox for pickup and put up the red flag. Both items had the correct postage, but yet for 2 days my items were not taken by my postal carrier. I called the Schaumburg. Post office and it rang 40 times but no one picked up. Aren't they picking up mail? I am a senior and wonder if I have to go to the post office in person. ???

Please do Not send documents using express mail because will not be delivered on time. I spend 67 dollars sending 3 papers to Europe, that told me 3-5 business days And if course was not delivered on time And they do not give me any money back even if was insured for $100

I have nothing, but problems with this post office. My mail forward was all messed up on their end with them changing dates. I went IN and did a change of address, so there should have been no errors.l did not receive forwarded mail for TWO months. This happened during my Birthday so several people were upset for not receiving a "Thank you" from me for the gift cards they sent, that were ALL sent back to them! Now I accidentally had a package shipped to my old PO Box, even tho I canceled my forwarding address, they forwarded it!!! The people here promise they will take care of the issue, I have spoken to so many that say, "I will stay with this until we resolve it." They don't and you can't get anyone on the phone............. hideous way to conduct business..... I'm sitting on hold right now for up to 53 minutes............. UPS is way better!

I’m sorry but my experience with the automated system was horrible!! The attendant voice kept asking me for document numbers I didn’t have and not giving me the proper options to solve my issue. When I was not able to give the attendant a document number she said thank you for calling United States post office, have a nice day- then disconnected me!! How rude! If I didn’t need these packages to be delivered I wouldn’t bother with this service but I need to talk to a human being not an auto-bot! Someone should verify that the options are complete and if numbers are missing, give the caller some options!! Not Happy At All

I have a wonderful carrier. It is rare I ever have a need to phone P.O. I usually receive the Tribune ad paper on Tuesday or Wednesday. It wasn't delivered Thursday. I tried to phone Schaumburg P.O. to ask if was delayed. To my surprise, their phone # has been disconnected. I tried an 800# provided and was told the wait time was 45 minutes!!!! This was the current # listed on web page. Need to update info.

I never write a review but the worst customer service at 450 W Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194 made me write this.I have been there on 6/20 at 6.20 Pm and the representatives there were chit chatting with their friends for more than 15 min while I am standing in the line. And later when she finished up her chatting she finally came in and the printer is out of paper and she has no idea how to fix it.And the other lady representative bhavana came in with very rude attitude. They are not even interested with their work. Will skip this postoffice.

I tried to call (800.275.8777) to report several missed deliveries. After listening to a very exhaustive phone tree of choices, there is no way to access a live person. I began hitting the "zero" which was of no help. Then, adding insult to injury, the auto attendant dis-connected me. Does anybody monitor your systems to allow for personal contact?

This place and people are terrible, it's no wonder why the usps is going under, a waste of taxpayers money and anyone's time who uses their service, they only care about how soon they can get out of their job and when they can lock the doors before they are even supposed to close, hey they are getting paid either way so who cares right, the workers should be ashamed of them selves and whoever is in charge of that facility should be fired! There are plenty of hard working Americans who need jobs right now that wouldn't be worried about how soon they can lock the doors or how little work they can do, for gods sake you work at the post office it's not hard labor, if you don't want to work or cut corners every day walk your fat ass into on coming traffic or get out of this country and do us all a favor.

Passport Service in Schaumburg post office is the worst service. I tried to do passport books for myself and my kids. First time I came at 13:00 and they told me I have to come with kids. That means I have to pick up them earlier from school. That's OK, I just asked them to check all my documents if everything is OK and if I can come et 2:30, because they work only until 2:45.They told me everything is GOOD and 2:30 will be OK. At 2:25 same day I came with kids. There was different woman, she looked at the clock and just told me that I made checks for wrong amount. When I asked her to make a call, she told me that I can do it outside. I went outside to check which amount has to be, and she just close the door after me , and never opened. Then I went to Itasca post office and they told me thet amount was OK. I think thet woman just did not want to do it in the end of her day. shame on you.

On Christmas Eve my door bell rang and she I went to the door there was a package on my front step and a man in his car at the end of the driveway watching to see if we got the package. It was our mail carrier on his way home from work and this package had come into the post office after he left on his route. Thank you for going well above and beyond your duty to make our Christmas and that of the sender so very lovely. Not the kind of service you would receive from the big shipping companies. Go USPS!
