Mailed a package Priority mail - Express International cost of $147.85. Employee at Post Office on Harrison Ave. took it upon herself to make corrections on USPS Customs Declaration & Dispatch Form - changing items & $$ cost. At Chicago Il. International Distribution Center; package went to Customs - cut open and sent back to me stating, " A New Customs Declaration is needed for re-Mailing". .Remind you - the box is damaged and question???? do I have to pay again after re packing. I hope the USPS Customer Service representative realizes the inconvenience & possible cost I have to deal with.

Had an appointment today at 12pm. I arrived at 1145am. Soon as I entered the passport room, I spoke with a smile on my face but was received negatively by the woman sitting behind the desk who did not speak back. She instantly stated that they were closed. I informed that I had an appointment for noon. She said, with an attitude "we are closed". I told her that she didn't have to repeat what she had said. Then I said that no one contacted me via email, text or a phone call. They had all of those ways of lettting me know that the system was down before I drove over there. As I was walking out, I told her that if she didn't like what she was doing then she needed to find something else to do. I did not deserve any attitude from her or no one else for that matter. I made another appointment for tomorrow (9/27/23 @ 12:15pm). Hopefully the systems will be up and running and if she is there, I will ask if she is better because she was totally wrong for responding like that. I didn't want to give any stars but I could not post without giving atleast 1 star. :-/

Ok, so I have called over and over to talk to someone about my medication package. This is awful service. Everytime I call the post office the calls are transferred to a line that doesn't answer and I know there are people there to answer the phone but I can't even leave a message. I am handicap and I don't understand why I'm having such a hard time to receive my medication. No one will help me and that sucks!!!!?

The female substitute mail carrier on Monday April 18 walked through my large day Lilly flower bed to deliver my neighbor’s mail and was very rude to me when I told that was a flower bed and walk on the grass.(like she doesn’t know flower bed from grass).I don’t want to see her again!

I mailed a birthday card with $20 cash on 3/15/22 at the external postal box at the USPS Harrison Ave main branch. My niece received an opened and empty envelope ( no card, no cash) at her house in rural Illinois. I hope the two postal workers, the one who took the money and the other who carelessly delivered the envelope are happy and spend it wisely.

No mail delivered for several days (though Informed delivery says they have mail for me.) No answer when I call. Ironically, recording says mailbox is full. Fortunately I stopped having USPS deliver any critical meds, but I still need to get bills to pay. At least I am not alone - this has become national issue. Google "2020 United States Postal Service crisis" to learn who is to blame.

The message stated you are an essential government worker. I would like to believe you have people working in your local post offices. Yet I mailed a letter out May 25,2021 to your city and today is June 25 and my family is still waiting to receive the letter. I understand the impact COVID has on different businesses. Yet our local post office workers continues to work day after day. I made the mistake of not getting it insured but you can believe I talked to my local post office and I’m certain it’s in your city. This is the worst service I’ve ever experience. You are the same ones who let a letter set from Dec/Jan and the machine ate all of it except a small piece of the envelope and you all sent that in April. Shame on the city of Rockford and the local post office for the service you don’t provide.

The postal mail man does not pick up my packages, despite requesting a pick up online through USPS "request pick up" choice. The packages are in plain site with a USPS Postal sign hanging from mailbox. He has skipped picking up packages numerous times yet delivers my mail. I need my mail packages picked up, I run a small business from my home and some customers order Express USPS service. I have had, on several occasions, taken the skipped packages to the local post office. This is unacceptable.

Our carrier refuses to deliver our mail when it snows. The mailbox area was cleared of snow and we have no issue pulling up to our mailbox in our vehicles. This carrier is using the snow as an excuse not to deliver mail. Our carrier also expects us to give gifts and tips at holidays, and then gives extremely poor service when we don’t.

Am trying to contact po as i have packages going to the wrong address. Try number listed but only told me what I had already researched. See one package is out for delivery. I moved from that address about two years ago. Have no idea how this happened I keyed my new address in when I ordered. So this package will be returned hopefully but is a movie so who knows. My new address is 215 S Galena Ave Apt 107 Dixon Il 61021. Hope someone can help. Really spent too much time on phone with absolutely no help.

The Post Office's job is to provide a service. This is the worst example of customer service on the planet. Customer service phone line sends you in circles, never being able to talk to a person. Local phone auto answers "mailbox full." Counter persons give you the "nothing I can do" answer. Meanwhile, packages that have been PAID FOR are swirling around from processing center to processing center for over a month. REALLY? It will not be long before the USPS is defunct!

Most %ucked up system i have ever dealt with. Absolutely impossible to speak to a human. 20 minutes of prompts with automated system only to be told there was over a 1 hr wait. Need to ship extremely important medication internationally immediately. Typical government run facility. No way to get a straight answer . %UCK YOU AMERICAN GOVERNMENT

Supposedly I have a package I need to sign for which I have no clue who it's from because you can't read the hand writing on the ticket AT ALL. I work 2 hours away and am never in the area to sign in time, plus what the heck am I signing for. Can someone PLEASE answer me.

Had mail held while away February 28 to March 5. Today April 21 a neighbor delivered that mail. They were on vacation and just returned. the water bill was there. Thats why loves Park water department was going to shut off water. Premium notice for health insurance was also there and now past due. Tried to call loves Park they are not answering the phone. Neither does the Rockford post office answer. Maybe they will hire someone Who knows their letters. And the Democrats want to Nationalize Health care. they were

Had a carrier leave an “oops we missed you” slip on my door... NEVER heard a knock or a doorbell! I WAS HOME AND SO WAS MY HUSBAND. Our dog ALWAYS barks to alert when someone knocks or rings the doorbell! The carrier we have is also SO LAZY they have left mail hanging from our mail slot! This has happened in windy/wet weather and has now ruined numerous pieces of mail and magazines. Now my package is not even available for pick up until tomorrow when I will be at work in the suburbs and not back until they close! Can’t get ahold of a live person to save my life! No answer and mailbox is full... what! The 800 number is a joke. It’s just as useless as trying to call the actual location. The package is an important part of my wedding and now because of a LAZY carrier I have to do this whole run around just to get it! I’m so sick of USPS as a whole.

This situation is beyond frustrating. I came into the Post Office Weeks before I changed my address and asked my mail to be forwarded. Turned in the completed paperwork. My mail is still being delivered to my home as if I had not done anything. I am gone for 2.5 months! - No way to contact post office to resolve the situation - Called 800 number - 50 minute wait - no service - Full voice mail box at Harrison Ave number in Rockford - Please Do better - I do not have access to checks and bills unattended at my home

Our front gate is broken - to deliver our mail until it is repaired, the driver will have to come in through the 23rd Avenue entrance. I called repeatedly. The local number - mailbox is full - call back later. ON HOLD for 51 minutes, the survey comes on and hangs up. How do I resolve the issue if I cannot get anyone to answer.

I have tried for months now to get a call through to this office to their four different phone #s and NEVER has anyone answered the phone OR returned my message. Several times their voicemail was full, and I was unable to leave a message. I have also been disconnected several times while trying to call. This is the WORST post office I've ever had to deal with. Unbelievable. How hard is it to pick up a phone?!
