We feel we need to write to you to let you know how disappointed we have been with the mail system in Quincy, IL. On Dec. 8th. I purchased sixty forever stamps mail out our Christmas cards to family and friends. Also mailed a package to a grandchild in Chicago. I sent out Christmas checks to our grandchildren in their cards in the following towns and states and the time it took to receive them. I put all of these in the mail box a the Locust St. location inside when I got the stamps put on them, around 11:00AM on the 8th. Cards mailed to Quincy residents were received three to four days. Cards to St.Louis and St. Charles, MO took five days. Card and package to Chicago to five days. Card to Phoenix, AZ took eight days. Card to Lakeville, IN took ten days. I feel as these were mailed by first class with a 55cent stamp in plenty of time and feel that these delivery dates are unacceptable. We are also receiving our Quincy Herald Whig by delivery of the Quincy Post Office now. We never know when our mail to our home on Highland Drive North will be delivered along with our Herald Whig paper. It can be anywhere from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Most time it is after 5:00PM We were very upset this past Saturday, Jan. 30 when our mail and paper was not delivered until 8:15PM. We feel we need an explanation to this fact as it has been going on for months.

I filled out a change of address card for forwarding my mail starting October 1st, 2020. My old address was 1212 Klonduje Road, Quncy, IL 62305. My new address is 2217 Rainbow Lane, Quincy, IL. 62305-6599. To- date, I have received three pieces of mail with the forwarding sticker on them. I am still getting mail at my old address. I am the treasurer if my church and I have not gotten a lot of the bills that I need to pay this month. This has been very disturbing to me. Also I have bills I have nit received. What in the world is the matter with your postal system. What do I bed tondo to get my mail? This is my second notice with no response from you guys at all!
