Horrible.....I understand it's the Monday before Christmas, and I did expect the mail boxes to be getting full. I would think those in the Post office would also notice, that not only were they full, they were over flowing. This caused much more traffic to go inside and mail their cards, which in turn caused a mess in the parking lot...........use some common sense...

I cannot understand WHY my mail has not been delivered! It is 7PM! Are there adequate employees to "work" the mail so that the Carrier can pick it up & deliver it???!!! SOMETHING is not working "true to form" at the Park Ridge, IL location! I truly do NOT believe it is the Carriers fault. "It points to the POSTMASTER IN PARK RIDGE"!

Any up-date as to whats going on with the out door mail boxes ? Maybe you could put a mail slot in the wall like they have at the library that way the mail would be safe in the building & not outside were it could be broken into. Doesn't have to be a drive thru people could walk up to it. At least you wouldn't have to go into the building. The mail would be safer.

Why do we not receive our mail?? We might get a delivery once a week. We are in the office every day. If I go to the Post Office the mail will be sitting in a box instead of being delivered. :(

Ridiculous service! Package sat for 7 days in Park Ridge before Elk Grove Village received it. One package I sent went from Park Ridge to PA twice before going to GA as addressed. Two others lost completely. Lobby machine broken more often than working, and supervisors needs to be replaced! Window staff are very helpful (Rick & Clarise) but fundamental reading should be imperative for all postal workers.

I moved to Park Ridge from Chicago and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this post office. They helped me to open a p.o. box, always very friendly and pleasant in communication. Real professionals. I like these postal workers and express my gratitude to them!

I received an E-Mail on 01/08/2018 stating that my package was delivered to my front door but when I opened the door there wasn't any package, so I got worried, but on the next day 01/09/2018 in the afternoon I found in my front door the package that was supposed to be left there on 01/08/2018, now don't you find this kind of stupid and careless of the postperson that made the delivery and not actually leaving the package on 01/08/2018. I think with all respect that someone like a supervisor to re-pennant the postperson. Dee Rd. Park Ridge, IL 60068-2818

When I mailed my Vacation Hold to our Post Office I was in a hurry and forgot to write my address. The Postmaster there was conscientious enough to go through extra effort to find my address. When I opened my mailbox, all my mail was there. I sincerely appreciate what they did.

April 6th, paid for Priority Mail Express Delivery from Hyde Park to Park Ridge for delivery of time sensitive documents. Was to arrive by 3:00 pm on April 7th. I tracked the package. It has been sitting in the Park Ridge office since 11:17 am, April 6th. I called Park Ridge several times; no one answers the phone. It is April 7th, and my package still sits. I called the main office and lodged a formal complaint against Park Ridge. Laura took down my concerns and created a case #. She also sent Park Ridge an electronic message, asking them to deliver my package. Why is the package still sitting in the post office when it should have been delivered on April the 7th? Why does no one answer the phone? Why is the incompetence and neglect tolerated? Why are people being paid to work at a post office who do not, cannot, or will not, do their jobs? The courtesy of a reply is appreciatedl

I am very concerned about the policy of demanding a return date when having your mail held. I have lived in Park ridge for 27 years and have always written the date held and left the return date open and picked up my own mail. Last two times I have been required to leave a return date. I feel that is a bad policy because it allows the possible transmission of dates when a homeowner will be away to unscrupulous individuals. Please explain why this is necessary if the dates are greater than 3 days and less than 30. Thank you
