I live in unincorporated Oak Brook (Oak Brook Colony). Frequently, there is no mail service here. We have curb-side/rural-type mail boxes. When I put mail in the box for pick up (putting the flag up), and it is not picked up, I feel concern about possible identity theft if the mail is not picked up. I have waited until as late as 10 o’clock at night before retrieving my to-be-mailed envelope for (hopeful) next day pickup. Why is our mail service so unreliable?

Tonight we received 8 pieces of our neighbor's mail, and very little of our own. This happens EVERY time our excellent, regular mailman does not do the route. We wonder if our neighbors up and down the street will bring our mail to us, as we do for all when we receive theirs. This has GOT TO STOP.

We did not get our mail delivered at 5625 S Washington yesterday. I watched a mail van stopping at other mail boxes on our street at 7pm but he drove right by a group of four mailboxes.

I moved July, 2020. I filled out change of address forms TWICE-the first one was mailed to my old house after dropping it off at the post office. As of August 21, my mail is being held, no one answers the phone at the post office, I have had to again submit a change of address form-this time on line as I have already moved out of state. The service at this location is atrocious. I wish someone in charge actually read these reviews as it appears this is the "norm".

This place is pathetic. If anyone were to ever answer the phone it would be a miracle. Even other post offices know OB doesn't answer the phone. Who is in charge here? WTF? Is this how you run a business?

I am expecting 2 envelopes from Met life and they should have been here last week. I called and found out they sent it to my old address in Mayslake village-1629 35th. I had a change of address at your po but it has probably expired. Is it possible to catch b4 returning and forwarding to 1759 35th apt 4213? It will save a month which is how long it took last time.

We are having our mail forwarded to our Florida address. We are not getting all of our mail even though it is mail that is subscribed to. For instance my husbands magazines and newspapers, our subscribed to TV guide. When we all nobody answers the phone. No wonder people don't want to use the USPS and find alternate ways to send things.

lol put in a complaint about our carrier. and a “supervisor” i’m assuming called me leaving a voicemail telling me to call back and i called back literally seconds later and the office was closed. good job joe. just because my “name isn’t on the mailbox” doesn’t mean i don’t live there. and doesn’t give the carrier a right to OPEN UP MY MAIL AND HIDE IT UNDER SOMEONES PACKAGE! and i’m not the only person who’s mail doesn’t make it into the box WHOSE NAME IS ON THEIR MAILBOX. makes no sense. how hard is it to do your jobs?

Terrible. Mail is delivered at 6:00 to 7:00 pm when regular carrier is on vacation or off. Cannot believe can't get mail delivered during business hours. This is why I use FedEx more and more...hope someday FedEx put USPS out of business. Deplorable service.

The postal carrier that delivered mail today 6/9/2017 @ 125pm to 125 Windsor Drive was by far the most RUDE POSTAL CARRIER EVER.....He is not one of our normal carriers, who ARE ALWAYS amazing people! I HANDED HIM A BATCH of outgoing mail as he was walking past our suite and he gave me the rudest stink eye and then asked me if I had some sort of problem. I said no, do you?. He then said no, I am asking you....so I replied, no but now I am asking you. and he just kept walking....I am blown away at the fact that this individual is allowed to talk to people this way....he is elderly and obviously very miserable and should not be allowed to speak to people who do absolutely nothing to him in that way....
