How do you get mail if you are homebound and no one to help? I heard there was a service for this?

I dropped my packages off before the last collection times and no one processed them until the next day. It seems the employees think they don't have to process packages if it's inconvenient for them, your job isn't to do what is convenient, change the hours or do your job... NO EXCUSES

As soon as a 24/7 mail carrier comes out, usps will no longer be valid. Mail should be a 24/7 thing especially with how a lot of people buy their goods nowadays. I never really understood why the postal service needed to stop running on small holidays and sundays, etc. there are plenty of businesses who stay open on holidays. I work at one of them. A lot of grocery stores stay open. Pretty soon it’s going to be Door Dash delivering our mail because there’s always someone willing to do work to make some money while the government decides to inconvenience everyone else. (Door Dash and other delivery services will bring you items from those stores open now). I’ve got precious cargo coming and it should be delivered today, but no. The government doesn’t think we should get mail on holidays even though half of the country is home right now to receive and sign and collect their precious cargo! They want to leave it for the predators on Tuesday!

I live right near you. I have been having mail problems with the same lady for the last year. Started by not getting packages delivered bc there was a puddle at the end of my drive way ?! What!? And now I’m missing several important pieces of mail that were confirmed to have been sent. I usually get other people mail in my box and have to put it back, so I’m assuming maybe that’s where mine is going. Not only that, mail is put at a side door that doesn’t get checked often and I will find it there wet and soggy afterwards. What’s so hard about putting on front covered porch!?! I’ve about had it

I just found a box from Amazon, that had been delivered yesterday afternoon/evening, a Sunday, sitting on top of my mailbox. Really?? I live on a fairly busy road, anyone could of taken it or because it's been windy could of blown away or gotten wet from rain! I tried calling loves park post office 4 times no answer, today a Monday.

3 envelopes with payments mailed on the 13th of July and they never made it to their destination. Other people in the Roscoe Illinois area are having the same problems what's up with the mail service?

I waited for our mail carrier to show up last Sat. on Kellee Ln. in Loves Park. Due to our going mail I had for them to take. Which I placed into my mailbox at 8 am putting my red flag up. Our carrier arrives any time between 11 am and 2:30. Depending on whose doing the route. Last Sat. your carrier never arrived. I have lived here over ten years. That has never happened before. I hope they weren’t in an accident. But since LP post office can’t answer the phone. It’s hard to find out what happened. And it’s not because I may not have had mail to deliver so they just went by. I am in a group of eight mailboxes. I doubt very seriously no one got mail last Sat.

Very poor service - didn't get mail for a couple of days. Called and called, still no one picking up - our tax dollars at their finest. Yeah, okay, they cut the mail deliveries, it is happening all over. Pick up the big pants and move on. An hour wait on the phone, how sad, looking into getting a post office box. This is very unprofessional.

I received a package on my doorstep Christmas Eve. This package was to be sent to an address 1.5 miles away and the address numbers did not come even close to matching my address numbers. I drove over and brought the package to the house it was addressed to and placed it on the porch. I realize it is Christmas Eve and the workers are tired, but someone almost didn't get a gift. A gift that someone paid extra to ensure timely delivery. As of right now, I am missing a package that someone paid extra to ensure delivery by December 22. I am not pleased.

Whatever grumpy old hag was working today really put a damper in my day. Drove all the way to the post office A COMMUNITY DWELLING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE with a package to be returned- this packaged simply needed a FIVE INCH tape access the top. That's it. No more than five inches of TAPE. This grumpy wench refused to simply tape a package so I could give it to her for return instead she tried to force me into buying an entire roll of tape for FIVE INCHES OF CLOSING A BAG!!!!! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Horrible way to represent the community. Worst post office I e ever been to very unprofessional and very cocky and very rude !!!!!

Tired of complaining to post office (on/ off for years) not getting all my mail or getting same neighbors mail from different street. Trying to get someone to answer phone at post office is impossible no matter time or day I call. Its unfortunate we still need the P.O. for things. To bad they get away with it.

Pathetic service and they dont care Im disgusted with the pist offc. For the 12 years weve lived in this house our mail is constantly sent elsewhere. I call and complain but it keeps happening. I ordered something and didnt get it. They said deluvered june 1st. I hope who ever got it is enjoying it. How do they keep miss ldelivering my mail if broken down by street? They are so incompetent im fed up. I wish i didnt have to have things sent via post offc. If it were up to me i would NEVER use them ever again. And to CALL any phone#s are useless. Local never answers and post master general says 1 1/2 hr wait for rep.

Our business has a parcel box outside for any packages. Due to the cold weather, our parcel box is frozen shut and we can't turn our key to open it but the delivery lady herself is always able to with her master key. She keeps leaving packages in the parcel box, despite us consistently informing her that we can't get our packages from the parcel box unless she herself opens it and takes it back out. We have a package in our parcel box right now but of course we can't actually get it despite needing it for our business because the mail lady puts it into a box only she can access. I tried calling the post office and they said they can't send anyone else out to get it out for us and the mail people absolutely cannot ever bring the package inside to us if it can fit in the box. So meaning we can never get our packages unless we're staring out the window waiting for the mail truck to come and asking them to take the package back out for us. When I asked how we're supposed to actually get our own packages, his brilliant idea was for me to take a lighter to the box to try to warm it up. Spent 20 minutes freezing outside for nothing. The most dreadful customer service I've ever had the displeasure of encountering.

I recently ordered a gift for my son. The package was set to be delivered on a Monday. When I tracked it the site said it was at the loves park post office Saturday morning. I went to pick it up as opposed to having my kid wait til Monday. I had the tracking number and info with me and when I asked the employee if I could get it she said it was probably on a pallet in back and there was no way she was going to go through all that for one thing. I thought that was the whole idea of mail service was getting people their deliveries no matter what. Absolute pure laziness in my opinion and my kid was bummed out all weekend. Terrible that she is getting paid to be lazy.
