Mc Donough St post office is bad ill go days with no mail others people mail delivered to me no pickup try to call there office nobody will answer phone all there voice boxes are full

Please let carrier to my area Shorewood. I have a small package. WEIGHT2 lbs / 0.91 kgs Label from FedEx 583836790044. Pick up on July 07/22. It was not received.

We have not had mail delivery in the Taft school area for three days. The supervisor for the zip code has not checked his voice mail is so long the box is full. The only person I could get hold of said "We are understaffed", end of story. So the solution is to not deliver, period?

They haven't delivered to our house or street for days now. Havent even received any mail.. And when they do deliver the mail out Bill's are always the next day to pay them

The mail guy for the Raynor/Prairie Avenue area is terrible. We get other people’s mail weekly & we know our neighbors get ours often. Mistakes happen but our mail person does not care. He will also shove ads & magazines in and rip pages. He has no respect for himself or his customers.

Postal Delivery person left a threatening message in my mailbox, I no longer trust the mail delivery system. At 1811 Vernon Joliet IL 60435. I REFUSED TO ACCEPT JUNK MAIL IN MY BOX, MARKED IT FOR RETURN TO SENDER, MAILMAN LEFT A THREAT TO ACCEPT THE MAIL OR GET NONE AT ALL. WROTE IT IN A NOTE, SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH!!! I DONT HAVE TO ACCEPT MAIL THATS NOT ADDRESSED TO ME.

I was expecting a prescription delivered and nothing was in my mailbox this really irritates me because it’s so unprofessional now what am I supposed to do

2 meaning Two stimulas checks where scanned and to be delivered Tuesday, now Saturday where are they? Do I need another attorney to investigate? The run a round is uncalled for, nobody can answer a phone? So unprofessional

I would like to highly commend Ms. Carol Ginise from your Joliet post office. I had another bad delivery with USPS and after calling many numbers and talking to many others, I finally got someone on the line that was not only caring and knowledgeable, but she walked me through the entire process on why it had taken my package take so long to get to its destination and where it was sitting at the time I spoke with her. I finally was able to get an answer. I complain a lot of times about bad delivery of mail, but I also will commend those who do a good job. Carol is most definitely one of them. KUDOS to Carol, we need more like her.

The Joliet post office has incompetent, uncaring, unprofessional people working there. There are not there to serve but simply to get a huge undeserving pay check.

We have complained no less than 5 times. Our mail carrier does not shut the door on our mailbox causing our mail to get ruined by rain. PLEASE have her shut the door.

I was never treated so horribly in my life. One of the mailcarriers at this location should be fired. I had to get a congressman involved so I could get my mail delivered. I called the post office at 8 am and waited 10 minutes and hung up due to being on hold. Once again my mail wasn't delivered. I wonder what excuse they will give this time.

Terrible customer service, first I didn’t receive mail since 1/3/18, I have informed mail so I know there was mail. Tried to call supervisor mailbox full, on informed mail checked never received, no response, went on twitter no response. Called Joliet again they tried reaching the supervisor couldn’t. Got a call from the Carrie last night stating it looked like someone tried to drill into the mailbox, did you tell someone no . I called Joliet to see where my mail is and as soon as I said my name the lady said your mailbox is broke and thought the whole situation is funny. The government should close the postal service down. I should file a police report against the carrier as stolen mail bacause he never reported it to no one

Every 2-3 days (sometimes every day) I get someone else's mail. Last week a neighbor came by with my check from work. Earlier this afternoon I already got my mail, then someone comes by at 7:30 at night with mail on a totally different street. How hard can it be to deliver mail to the right address.

I haven't gotten my mail all week. Don't tell me there wasn't any, because we all know that's not true. Maybe we should get a permanent mail carrier. Not be an add on at the end of someone's route!!! I want my mail ON TIME!!

Hello the other day I went to grab some stamps and I was greeted by Telisha Muzzel (I'm not sure if that is spelled correctly). She was so polite and very friendly. I didn’t receive mail for a week and the substitute delivery man didn’t even come to the house to pick up outgoing mail clearly visible from the street. Called to talk with the supervisor, no response to my voicemail. Went into this location to discuss with a supervisor, left information for a call back, nothing yet. Today my regular mailman asks me why I’m not getting any mail and hands me a package with a large boot print on it smashing it. I assume that’s the USPS way of handling complaints, throw away your mail and damage your packages. Typical government agency performance.

I live in a townhome as our mailboxes are all together. Yesterday Dec 22, I can't open the mailbox, it seems to be blocked, the key won't go into opening. Today Dec 23 I tried calling from 8 am to 9:15 am the McDonough St post office Joliet, IL. The phone rang 30 times every 15 m in I tried calling. At least 3 times someone picked up the phone and hung it u p the numbers I called were 815-773-1060 and 815-744-0384. I was trying to get ahold of the mail lady so she would know of my problem. How rude of you to hang up. Guess all the reviews online about this post office are true. I finally walked to mail box and taped with packing tape a note to my mailbox so the mail lady would see the problem.
