This is the worst PO I ever have had to deal with. No one ever answers the phone and when they do they are EXTREMELY rude. This isn't the case at the downtown one, nor wheatons, who are friendly. This post office has workers working here that don't even know the services it says they offer. I've dealt with a lot of POs due to travel and having a winter home. NONE are like this. This place is horrible.

You have a mail man that has no regards of parking in a no parking zone and blocking roads in a school zone that is designated for dropp off/pick up and drive through since he felt entitled to do so. Then feels he has the right to yell and cuss out a crossing guard that told him that he cannot park there as its nonparking and is blocking traffic and claims to be a government worker and can park where he pleases. Mind you, this is a school zone while kids are getting out of school. He had no regards to anyone's safety. No parking is no parking and doesn't give the right to block a road because he felt entitled. This was Stanley hall elementary school located on Nolan and Wayne st. You guys need to teach your drivers that they do not own the street and it put others especially kids in danger because of his negligence.

I was at the Glen Ellyn post office on Feb. 23rd to send a package to New York. I asked the lady named "Tequerra" that whats the best way to send a package to New York. She had her back towards me and doing something on the counter . She was extremely rude by answering my question and on the top she said that I should check my package in the lobby. When I complained to the Supervisor name "Samone" she took her side and told me that Tequerra has not done anything wrong here. I was never treated like this in any post office in my life.

I have never been treated as rudely as I was this afternoon at the Glen Ellyn, DuPage Blvd, post office. Two women were working the counter and all I needed was to have two large envelopes mailed and to buy 3 books of stamps. When I came to the counter I told her what I needed and held up the envelopes so that she could see their size. She yelled at me that she can only handle one envelope at a time...and I mean yelled at me. She then rudely instructed me about where to set them. And then she said it again because she hadn't paid any attention to the fact that I had already done what she asked. So at that point I had enough, and told her that I did what she asked the first time and her response was "you don't have to snap at me!". It went on from there and when I told her that she needs to ask people nicely, she simply looked at me for a few seconds and then walked away. Walked away and never came back! Refused to help me. Refused to help anyone. Her behavior was beyond ridiculous. It would have been ridiculous in any setting, but was especially bad when that is how she treats a customer who just wants to send out Christmas cards and 2 presents. And she gets paid to behave that way. Unfortunately, that location lived up to its reputation. The worst post office because of how rude the workers are. So unfortunate.

Lobby mailboxes were not open on Monday, July 26. The building grounds are an absolute disgrace. The grass, or should I say weeds, are a foot tall. The post master of the Glen Ellyn, DuPage Blvd facility needs to take charge of the situation.

I live at 2S165 Huntington Ct. The last mail we received was last Friday, 2/12, which was delivered after dark. Today is Tuesday, 2/26, and we've received no mail since last Friday. We never go this many days without mail. Is there a problem? I know the weather has been bad, but no mail for this many days is unheard of.

Kudos to my postal worker in the Valley View subdivision. I have several odd shaped boxes delivered every month. He brings them to my front door and places very carefully on my cooler. I’m so grateful for all he does for our subdivision in these very difficult times. Thanks to all of you for doing such a great job.

The main post office on DuPage Blvd is a joke. Nobody ever answers the phone. And God forbid you actually physically go to the post office in person because the clerk is so rude and won’t even look at you. I actually missed getting mail/bills on time because I couldn’t get anyone to assist me with my issue! When I called the office in downtown Glen Ellyn trying to get some help, they said there was “ nothing they could do”. What is a person supposed to do in these circumstances? I’m at a loss. I hope there is a manager that actually reads these reviews.

In these troubled times with the corona virus making us stay home and /or avoid contact with others in person, there should be someone available to answer the phone or respond to email, voice mails, or text messages at each local branch office. But there is no such accommodation at the Glen Ellyn Post Office-just an endless ring on the local number. The main 800 number offers a response time of one hour.

Horrible attitude toward the customers. No Hello, no eye contact, no pleasant voice inflection. Stood in long line to buy Christmas stamps. Finally my turn comes. A young woman shouts "Next" but doesn't bother to look at me. I ask for a sheet of Christmas stamps. Still not looking at me she says " Sold Out. None 'til tomorrow". I ask if they have Winterberry stamps. Still not looking at me "Sold Out. None 'til tomorrow. I ask to buy 2 International stamps. She pulls out a sheet of the generic international and I say "You don't have the holiday version of those either?" Another attendant further down the line heard the exchange and she offered that she had some in Holiday and brought a sheet over. The gal I had never offered anything pleasant, never once managed to even look at me, never said "thank you" when the transaction was complete. 1). Wouldn't it make sense to just put a simple handwritten sign on the entry door stating that they are sold out of Christmas stamps so that the customers don't stand waiting in a long line only to be rudely told they don't have any. 2). Wouldn't it be a bit more civil to just add the 2 words "I'm sorry" we are sold out for the day. 3). Being pleasant to the customers seems like the first rule of any business. Shouldn't politeness to the customers be a routine part of training and something that should be continually monitored as part of an employee job review? It certainly would be with any other business concern. Perhaps the employees should be reading these reviews!

I'm finished with the post office on Nicoll Way. People so rude. Don't even look at you. And certainly don't say, Hello. Or smile. I will drive out of my way to deal with someone civilized at the downtown GE post office.
