Are the phones at the Franklin Park Post Office working? I have called every day. It rings for a few minutes and then Goes to a busy signal. I work longer hours than they are open so I can't just stop in. I have a package that says it was delivered but nothing on my porch. is anyone else having issues?

They can deliver the parcel even if the parcel has not left the post office. I bought a Nikon F5 on eBay, every few hours I checked if it was already shipped, where it arrived, when I will have it in my hands. I saw, it arrived at Franklin Park, it's on its way to the recipient. But unfortunately other correspondence and advertisements are in the mailbox but the package with the camera is not. At 3:35 pm e-mail with the package delivered. I run around the house and look for where the package is. The next day, I ask the postman, did you deliver my package yesterday? NO, even if it's at 3:35 pm I'm halfway home. I go to the post office to ask what happened to my parcel. The clerk looks for it, then comes and says that she remembers my envelope, but when she scanned it, she saw a different address on the other side, so she torn off the sticker with my and the sender's address and sent it to the other address. I saw this sticker on my own eyes stuck on a piece of paper at the post office, unfortunately I didn't get it for my hands. The parcel went to an address unknown to anyone (if that's true). There is nothing I can do because the parcel is delivered on a parcel tracking basis. $ 287 was lost with no trace and no chance of recovery. I recommend the post office in Franklin Park for those who want to lose money or important papers, they can do it very easy.

Mail delivery has been suffering for at least two years. I am a homeowner of 50+ years. When I've called the post office to complain of my mail being delivered blocks away, and I'm receiving mail belonging to others, I was rudely informed that this is a machine problem and to put up with the inconvenience! Last Saturday, I watched my mail carrier leave my home to his parked vehicle. I went to to the door only to find he had dropped off a white post office basket, filled with mail addressed to the Library! This is NOT a "mail machine" issue. I put this basket at my mailbox this past Monday AND Tuesday, and it's been ignored by the same guy. I am a senior and have mobility issues and cannot lift this basket to get into a car. I called the post office on Saturday when this happened, but they were closed. It is impossible for my carrier not to see this POST OFFICE LABELED WHITE BASKET!
