I have live at 3277 Staunton Rd. for over 40 years and got my mail there and all of a sudden I applied for my new drivers license and it was sent back by the post office from Edwardsville. I said I didn’t live there.

We have not had mail delivery since Friday Nov. 25. Can you explain why? I am SUPPOSED TO get a daily newspaper - I pay over $400 year for don't get it a lot of days. I have to call and they sometimes credit my account, but it is a big a hastle. I am expecting some important papers in the mail and am afraid they got thrown out with my newspaper. We live on the west side of Holiday Shores Subdivision. I have called the post office numerous times and like it is "WHATEVER". We need a new post master. An explanation of how they work would help. Does the carrier just go home when they are tired or their 8 hours is up. What do they do with the rest of unsecured - undelivered mail????????

If reviews aren't read by postal employees, then why write them? I live on the north side of town, on M. Street & I'm lucky to get my mail & not have it delivered to the neighbor college kid who just throws it away. My mail carrier has been switched out for younger folk who could care less. They leave packages outside my fence for passersby to grab and they're MEDICINE! They also won't answer the phone for complaints! They won't walk 50 ft to my porch for packages!

I am tired of my rural USPS carrier not delivering packages that do not fit in my mailbox and leaves me a note that package is too large to deliver, and I have to pick them up at the post office. According to USPS policy they are required to deliver packages as long as my house in within 1/2 mile of the mailbox and my private drive is passable. My house is 40 yards from my mailbox, and I have an asphalt driveway. This is second time this has occurred, and I am not happy that my mail person is too lazy to get out of his/her car to deliver my packages.

This post office is a 'hot mess'. The management is rude, uneducated, and seemingly unqualified to hold said positions. The lines are often long in waiting for a clerk to assist you. There seems to be much confusion and little direction at this office. There have been times when the lobby was locked due to 'staffing shortages'. How is this acceptable? Many can only come during their lunch hour, so locking the lobby because USPS cannot man the window is unacceptable.

I don't usually write reviews, but I just spoke with Ed the post master and I have never been spoken to by someone that is so rude and disrespectful from the start of the call. When I asked if I could give him information on my situation he flat out told me no. Do better Edwardsville.

I realize that inclement weather has no doubt played havoc with your delivery service but please be advised that I have not received ANY mail since Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Thanks, Marty Jenkins 36 Rottingham Court Edwardsville, IL. 62025 Ph 618-444-5755

How does it possibly make sense, for a person to purchase something online, with the intent of having it DELIVERED to their address, for said item to be kept at the carrier facility??? I work all hours of the day, six days a week and am not able to waltz on in to my local (25 minute drive) post office to recover a package that Amazon decided to enlist the USPS to “deliver”. If you can’t deliver packages, DONT PARTNER WITH DELIVERY SERVICES. How shall I receive my parcel? As like I said, I cannot venture to the post office during operating business hours??

Is it acceptable practice to swing a u-turn in the middle of a highway to get to a mail box? Has happened on multiple occasions that I've seen. Seems very dangerous, even out here in the country.

Our mailbox is on a highway and if we get a package that doesn’t fit into our mailbox our mailman (mailwomen) will leave our package in the grass. This is crazy, anyone going by could pick up our mail. I can’t believe this is allowed.

Awful delivery service! I've lived in an apartment building since July of this year and there has been THREE times now that the delivery people have messed up my delivery. The first time it was delivered to the wrong door, the second time they put the wrong parcel key in my mailbox so i had to wait another day to get my package when it was right across from my apartment, the third time they put they parcel key in someone else's mail box and they took my package that i have yet to receive due to their mistakes. As i was already thinking of writing a review my roommate tells me she just had the mail man deliver the package to our neighbors several doors down and they were kind enough to come to our door to return it to the right people. Almost every time i order something now I have an issue with it due to the someone messing up and I've spend countless minutes on the phone or coming into lobby hours to get it straightened out. I would greatly appreciate if this issue would be addressed. I'm not done ordering things to my address because i don't trust the deliverers anymore.

I am very concerned about the iritic mail service on Longfellow Ave. Many times mail or reasonably small packages are not delivered to Longfellow Ave, Edwardsville, IL. My mail sent from New York takes longer to be delivered to the recipient in Edwardsville (if at all) than mail, I send to Europe. Is there are reasonable explanation for the erratic service? Best wishes, A. Skiold
