Postal Locations

I’m giving a 2 because I’m not happy at all with this East Moline PO. I cannot depend on the postal service here in East Moline because there are some days they don’t bother to deliver. As of today I’m supposed to get 2 packages to be delivered by East Moline PO today but I won’t get it til Monday now because they’re not delivering mail today. I’ve been so afraid to change my meds over to mail order because of this. Another problem is they email me or report that they tried to deliver a package but I wasn’t home, WHEN I WAS!!!!! I really get upset when I’m needing the contents that’s in the package. Another problem is they’ll put my package in the wrong mail box. I can no longer count on the East Moline PO to deliver my mail/packages to me when I’m to expect them or need them.

I live at 2500 Archer Drive East Moline Illinois 61244 It is a route that the East Moline postoffice has abandoned. Service is erratic at best. I get daily notices as to what is to be delivered, but we receive nothing. When my wife talks to the post office, they say we are on a partial route.That means when another route is finished, the carrier has to volunteer to deliver our mail. Often after 6:00 pm. She (my wife) is told repeatedly upon inquiry at the East Moline Post Office that new hires are trained, start their routes and then quit. What is going on at the Post Office? What would we have to do to guarantee that our mail is delivered/available on a daily basis ? We have inquired about collecting our mail at the East Moline Post Office on a daily basis. According to the postmaster, our only option is to rent a POBox. SERIOUSLY?? I cannot receive my mail as a service of the Post Office in my post office approved mailbox at the curb (for free) , but I have to pay to drive to the post office to collect my mail? I need help. I need someone at the Post Office to wake up and see the need to engage in customer service. I cannot be the only person who is not being well served by a government agency provided for under our constitution. Does anybody care??????

I dropped a birthday card containing money in the Bettendorf's post office drop box with an East Moline, IL delivery address. When it got delivered to the residence in East Moline, IL, the money was missing from the card!!! We can NEVER rely on the post office anymore. A bunch of thieves and liars!
