This post office deserves a no stars. They force you to give them one so you can submit a complaint. A package was said delivered in my mailbox Saturday. Which was a lie no package. This has happened many times before. Said it was in my mailbox , it was in the neighbor's box, someone doesn't know how to read, The names are very legible on the mailbox. Another time it said package was handed to the resident. Another lie. So, I had the package replace by the company that sent it. Why did the package that was replace beat the one that said it was handed to the resident? Clearly it was never deliver when it said it was. They allow these postal workers to say they delivered something when they have not. We complaint and still nothing is being done. It boils down to you all just don't give a rats behind about your routes. the supervisor don't give out any repercussions because nothing has improved. This mess has been going on for a while. I was told they are allowed to say it was delivered by a supervisor even though you might not get it until 2 or 3 days later. Unacceptable.

My postal box has no lock on the main box. We as tenant have our own key to our boxes, but no lock for the mail person. I get so tired of searching on my lobby floor to get my mail. Someone takes everyone's mail out their box searching for credit cards I suppose and then just dumps the mail on the floor.

Jackson Park Post office is one of the worst office in this area. My family has not received mail for over a month beyond local newspapers. I recently had to pay a ticket because the hearing date was never delivered to my address. I personally have taken an income tax return to the party, who lived five blocks away. We have gotten their mail many times and always put it back in the box. Once I dropped it in the post office box at the station and it came back to our house! I plan on writing to another authority because I have addressed this issue many times and got laughed at. I even called and went by the station
