VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! Why have a phone # if no one ever answers? I let the phone ring for 6 minutes with no answer. How do you leave a message or leave a complaint? We have had no mail delivery for a week! I understand it has been cold and snowy, but I thought the post office still delivered. Obviously not. I am so disgusted with how lack of service is now the norm everywhere. Terrible.

Disgraceful. Parking lot is a wreck, lobby is littered with garbage, employees sitting on a stool while working the register, long lines, rude counter help, constantly skipping mail pick up or delivery on my block and no service when it snows is the best one! Thank you for constantly raising rates while diminishing service. Arlington Hts post office needs to be shut down, it's disgusting and horribly run.

I was receiveing some information about some kind of paclage or delivery that I did not did not make or confirm or made payment of or was not arranged by me.They keep sending me goofy information that a package or delivery was keep being invalid or wrong address by me but I never never commit order or shipment from California or it have been made by someone else by mistaken.Please please disreguard this information you keep sending me and if package that was supposed to be ship by me or invalid address from post office or if I made order from website.Then you may be serious wrong with wrong person and wrong customer and did not make no order or shipment from Califor invalid address.Please disreguard this whole pacakge order if it does not belong to me could be someone else and does not beling to me sorry.Not not my order and not mu shipment of delivery ok. We have a community mailbox that services our subdivision--this is the second time the back of the mailboxs were left open by the mail delivery person. Anyone can walk up and take everyone's mail. Please have someone come out and lock up the delivery door. Thank you

Mailed a vacation stop card to this post office in Feb to have the mail stopped on 3/16 and started on 4/1. The mail has not been . After a neighbor found mail still be delivered I called the office 847-253-7806 multiple times. After an automated voice message the calls is transferred and rings and rinds but no one answers I tried using the postal app and the app will not accept stop/start dates. Major postal problem

The Arlington Heights post office on Euclid Ave has got to be the most inefficient post office in the entire Midwest. They have repeatedly either returned mail that was perfectly addressed or simply did not deliver without a trace or explanation of same. Thrown in the trash, perhaps. In the meantime, I would like the postmaster position at this facility. The office is dark for days at a time and no one answers the phone, not even a voice mail. What a job. Money for nothing.

I signed up and paid $262 for premium mail forwarding beginning approximately 2/23/22. So far its been sporadic at best (after paying $262)!!!!! It has also been very difficult to reach the Arlington Heights Post Office with the Phone # given to me if I have a problem (847-253-7806). Last week I finally reached a person who sounded like it was a bother to even address my problem and then found the mail had not even been forwarded as it should have been. So far this week I have not received my premium mail forwarding package as promised and cannot reach anyone at the Arlington Heights, IL post office. HELP!!!!

We hah a Winter vacation in Florida from mid Jan. To mid April. We had our mail forwarded. Frowarding didn’t start for four weeks.We we’re home on April13. On April 18 our carrier said he had been forwarding even today. We never did get our Income tax return.during our absence our neighbor twice retrieved junk mail from our box. Somehow we must revive recently forwarded mail. TERRABEl SERVACE.

sent a package to a friend but used a goofy name. address was correct but got a alert it couldn't be delivered because the name wasn't the same as the addressed. yeah Dr. Jameson Picklesniff Jr. isn't his name but since when does the post office not deliver to the address? if there was no name you'd have delivered it. so i called the Post Office and the lady was rude and no help. i tried to explain the situation and she interrupted me and said it's being returned to me and hung up. i called back 10 times and no one answered. way to pick some awesome customer service employees USPS. never have i had a package returned because the name wasn't correct... go by the address. rude and unacceptable... cost me $16 to get it sent back to me?? UPS next time for sure.

I have an app that tells me what mail I am to receive everyday. I have gotten mail twice this week out of five days. What is going on, no wonder people tell me they can not trust the mail. This happens all too often. When I try to call my post office to find out if I should pick up my mail no one answers the phone.

Please reference Utube video published on 4/28/21, from “Citizen Standpoint News” (already viewed by 126K, people) & share your views on these two racist guys employed by the USPS! I believe one of them to be the Postmaster of this facility! They refused to ID themselves, covered their ID cards, acted confrontational, refused to abide by their own Poster 7, made a racial accusation, followed customer around video recording him after, just moments earlier telling customer that video recording is prohibited inside that facility! Called police when NO crime was ever committed! These 2 guys need to be fired, or at a minimum demoted, & retrained!

The two men who restricted access to a constitutionally protected activity and refunded to read their own rules of the post office pointed out immediately to them on the wall need some education. It’s also unprofessional not to identify yourself as you are both public servants.

Arlington Heights P.O. is truly great! I made a typo on the address label of a package I sent. When I contacted the P.O. they were able to locate the package and correct the address. It saved me so much grief. I’m so happy with them

I place ALL of my outgoing mail in the box at Oakton and Ridge. There must be theft from that location because I can identify at least three letters that were never delivered after being placed there. Who is responsible for the safety of that mail? .

W. Spring Ridge Dr. Neighborhood... First of all I want to say that I have not seen our usual mail carrier for maybe 2 weeks now. No complaints! She is horrible! I've got her on video yelling at our dog that is barking from the window. I've got her on video tossing a small package onto the snow covered porch rather than putting it on the stand we have on the side that doesn't collect snow (right next to door) or even inside the storm door considering it was a small package. I use the informed delivery service and we get pictures of mail that is to be delivered before it is actually delivered. This has happened a few times but one that really upset me was my wife's stimulus check. The photo in informed delivery showed a perfectly intact envelope, when it arrived in our mailbox it had been opened. We receive other neighbors mail and have to deliver it to them ourselves. Quite frankly this delivery driver is incompetent and obviously does not care about her job one bit! I have heard many other neighbors complaining about the same things. Now for the original reason for this complaint/post... Where is our mail!? Informed delivery shows we have several pieces of mail that was supposed to be delivered this week but our mailbox has been empty since last week. My wife and I both have items from Amazon that was to be delivered by USPS. Tracking and Amazon both show that the items have been delivered but nothing ever showed up. My wife's item showed delivered last week but still nothing. Mine was supposedly delivered yesterday but nothing ever arrived. What is going on!?!?

Where is our mail? It has been 8 consecutive days. I am missing medication, insurance papers etc. If you don't want the jobs I can several people who would be willing to work (safely doing Covid). This service is a disgrace and I would be ashamed to say I work for the post office.

Mail box at Wilke and Ventura Dr. I have had LATE mail that was deposited in that mail box for the last 2 months. What is going on does it not get cleaned out when the person on that route opens it up. I have without a doubt mailed these things on a very timely even early basis and they have gotten to their destination 2 weeks late! This is unacceptable. What can I do about it, I can't seem to get though on the phone.

Three business days and NO MAIL. If the sub cannot finish the route, can he/she start where they left off the day before or do the route backwards? This is getting ridiculous. When the regular mailman is off, there is no mail delivery and then a ton when he gets back. Not fair to him or us. Your "essential service" is lacking.

I am sorry to bother you but there seems to be a problem with mail getting deliver to our block. It is 7:30 PM and we have not gotten our mail/ Normally one day is not a big deal but we did not get the mail delivered on Saturday and then yesterday we got some of the mail that was suppose to arrive Saturday delivered after 6 pm . Today we have not received anything. I get the daily email :USPS Informed Delivery, so I usually know what should be arriving. I believe that our normal mail carrier is either out sick or on vacation and I get that other carriers have to help deliver this route but whomever is suppose to be delivering is not. Our normal carrier is awesome. He is always very polite, cheerful and so dedicated. He is great and I sure hope that he is not ill but on vacation. I don't complain but I am frustrated that we are not getting any of our mail now the for the second time. Please can you look into this.

Who do you contact to help with missing packages! I have 4 packages I took to the distribution center on northwest highway and every time I file a missing package claim the following day they close my claim! And my packages are still nowhere to be found since November 17th! I have been on hold everyday for 1 to 2 hours and I get the same story that everything is messed up due to covid but nobody seems to ever have an answer on how I find my packages or get my money back either! Since I took them to the distribution there is no paper receipt so what happened did someone steal my packages since there is no proof of me dropping them off or what is going on down there! Why do you have security personnel in the vestibule area where you drop off packages if it doesn’t help! They don’t check personnel’s backpacks when they leave the facility so who knows what is happening inside there! And seriously there is nobody ever there to give you any answers and when I file these claims Arlington heights never calls me and that’s where the problem is! How do you get ahold of the management at the distribution center! This is so poorly managed it is ridiculous! Anyone have any answers on what I should do now?

WTF. We had a package delivered to our address. However; the packager was supposed to be delivered to someone in Georgia. How in the world could you deliver this package to an Arlington Heights, Illinois address. I used to work for the post office while going through college, I would be embarrassed not to mention fired for such a complete lack of professionalism. We would like to commend our carrier, Theresa Johnson. She is a caring person who has established a great relationship with all of us on her route. She is also very accurate with our deliveries. We always notice her attention to detail and miss her on her days off.

For 4 days on USPS tracking my pakage, is "available for pickup". I was at the post office 3 times (08/06/20, 08/07/20, 08/08/20) and I was informed that the package would be delivered the same day. We have had poor delivery in our office building when our regular delivery person is not here. The mail is sometimes not delivered to the tenants offices, and is sometimes even stacked on top of the mail bins and not even distributed. Please have this corrected. We are an online store and have been using USPS for shipping as our primary carrier. We ship about 50 packages daily. We moved from Mount Prospect IL location to Rolling Meadows IL last November. We had excellent service provided by Mount Prospect IL Post Office. We have scheduled pickup in our business location at 5410 Newport Dr Rolling Meadows, IL, 60008 for next whole year. We have to call every other day asking to have someone come and pick up mail from us. We are constantly not receiving our packages and receiving someone else's packages instead. Postmaster Emmanuel J. Thomas is aware of the situation as well as supervisor Cornell, has been spoken to a few times already. Nothing has changed. We even opened a PO box in UPS where another USPS Post Office delivers our packages, because it's just gotten ridiculous. We can't file claims because it shows that the packages were delivered on the tracking. This has amounted to a significant sum of money. Today no one came from our USPS again. We called and asked someone to come, they promised they would show up, we waited until the last possible minute and then delivered the packages to the post office ourselves. This is just unacceptable workplace behavior. We are going to change USPS as our primary carrier if nothing changes soon.

Talk about testing one's patience--I shout into the phone asking for "AGENT" only to have to wait 8 more minutes listening to a grating robotic menu, and if you leave your number, never get called back anyway. The AH office either won't answer the phone or answer and put you on hold indefinitely. They're rude, useless and clueless. Schaumburg on Mall Dr. agents are nasty, nasty, oh so nasty. I'd rather go to MP on Central and, surprisingly, had decent service at Norwood Pk. We just learned we got charged a late fee from Comcast because we never got the bill in December (Christmas time). Here's the joke: none of these postal employees have to know their job, perform that job or uphold their duties--none. Why? Because they work for the Gov. Yep, government at its finest. No wonder there are so many complaints--they've earned our wrath. I predict they'll go the way of brick & mortar--extinct--and rightfully so. I'll take UPS any day, thanks.

Tracking info from Barnes & Noble says my book has been delivered. It has not. Calling the Arlington Heights Post Office for one and a half hours. One time pick up and on hold for 10 minutes with no personal contact. Every other call simply got disconnected.I'm very frustrated!

We have lived in our house for 40 years and our current new carrier is the worst ever. She regularly delivers mail to us that is not addressed to us. A box full of new children's books that we mailed to ourselves from Idaho was delivered to someone else in Arlington Hts (according to Geo Tracking available only to postal employees) and is now lost. I am thinking about getting a PO Box and giving up on home delivery.

Often get mis-delivered mail. Today we got all of our next door neighbors mail, including a cd of medical information from a medical provider. I brought it all to the neighbor, but it makes me wonder where MY mail is. Was the carrier one off all the way down the block? And if someone else got my mail (I'm expecting multiple packages) are they going to be honest enough to return it to me, or re-route it through the post office again? We have frequent changes in our mail carriers, this latest one is always in a huge hurry, which may be the fault of USPS policy and watchdogging, but accuracy counts more than speed in my opinion.

24 hours later, no response from post office (they asked for my phone number and said they would contact the carrier on his route and call me back.) Whoever got my packages hasn't returned them to me, and I'm wondering what other mail may have been mis-delivered along with them. Our government at work. This has happened three times in the last five years. One time a neighbor two blocks over returned the package to me...three weeks later, said they just couldn't get around to it any sooner. I'm thinking it's time to privatize US mail delivery.

The AH Post Office should be shut down! My mail carrier only delivers mail when he feels like it.......in 3 years we have NEVER received mail Mon-Sat....typically its Friday AND or Saturday that we don't see the postal carrier. Now it's been a week since we have received mail. It's the holidays....if nothing else we should be receiving a mailbox full of junk mail......nothing....I think my mailbox actually has cobwebs on it due to lack of use. No wonder everyone relies on UPS and FedEx....the local post office isn't reliable. i let the phone ring for 9 min before someone picked up and i've sat on hold ever since.

Worst post office ever! So unprofessional! Constantly loosing my mail and carrier keeps on putting previous tenants mail in my box after I repeatedly told Post Master to talk to carrier about it! This is too late coming. Don, our carrier is so amazing, we literally have conversations about him in our Greenbrier neighborhood. His speed, accuracy and determination is astounding. He is focused. It's 4:30 pm and our outgoing mail/packages haven't been pickup yet. They need to go out today. This happened so many times. I called the Arlington Heights post office and first of all, they don't answer the phone, so I have to call several times to get to someone. Then I explained the situation and they never know if the mailer is out on routing or not. Or they will say, if we don't get any mail, then the mailer will not pick up the mails. This is business. Whether I have incoming mail or not they should pick up the outgoing mail.

I stood in line for at least 15 minutes this morning about 11:00; I was the next one in line The lady who finally took me could not really speak English! Telling me my envelopes w/ valentines in them were parcel postage; $3.50 a piece!!! Are you kidding me??? Give me somebody who can speak clear and actually knows the postage rates!!! The girl @ the door is useless; I didn't need her to tell me where to go!! Terrible post office; useless, unfriendly, s-l-o-w and dumb!!! Really AH? We pay high taxes so the post office should be professional and productive!!! Let's go!!!! Very unexceptable!!!

Touché! I feel for you. Government at its best...ironic. What a sorry mess. I get lots of different neighbors' mail all the time (important mail too). We have different carriers, hence subpar service. USPS is going the way of brick and mortar--extinct! And they should because they're useless, insolent and incompetent so they should be put out of service. I'll take UPS any day.

The mail delivery is terrible, i think it would be safer to collect your own mail. i am constantly getting other peoples mail and i had Christmas mail delivered the end of January. yesterday i got six pieces of mail, 5 of them were my next door neighbors and 1 for another person on our street. This only started late last year when our regular mail carrier was changed. We always had pretty good service over the years until now.

Awful service, rude workers, very slow moving, very sloppy view to customers. I wonder if you read the comments on the AH PO dept, because they all say the same thing. The service is just awful and your score is a 0. I am trying to not use the USP because the AH office is just horrible. I have had patrons tell me that they use Mount Prospect or other offices. The workers are miserable to deal with too.

USPS search shows everything but suggestions and complaints. My mail delivery quality has been worse than before. Three of my bills were never delivered to us, and some of our mail was delivered to our neighbors and our neighbor's mail was delivered to us. The mail packet is not organized, it is showed in to the mail box. Please look in to it. This is regarding mail delivery for 60004-3560. Thank you.

Why haven't I had mail service the past 2 days? I try to support the postal service by buying stamps and paying my bills through the mail but if they're not going to provide the service, why bother?

They managed to lose a package mailed to an AH address! Tracking said it was out for delivery, but 8 days later it still is "missing". The first time I called, the young man who answered the phone said "I don't have time to help you." When I gave him a long distance number, he apparently found time and took the time to write down the tracking number of the package. Unable to locate the package in the computer, he said he'd return my call and I haven't heard back from him since...that was 6 days ago. Called again 2 days ago and spoke to another woman, who actually looked for the package in the computer system and on the shelves, to no avail. Took my # and said the supervisor would call me back with more information....still haven't heard from them. VERY FRUSTRATED!!!

USPS- I just found my outgoing mail in my shrubs near my house, and my neighbor just delivered the rest of my mail to me--since it was placed in his mailbox -not mine.

I called this morning to schedule an appointment and was told they no longer offer passport service. The lady referred me to the Palatine Post Office. Last time I checked, no appointment was required.

Whoever is at fault (and I'm not posting to point fingers) I agree 110% with the posters below who are frustrated with the runaround the AHPO gives to hapless travelers seeking passport service. After listening to multiple recorded messages, I was asked (by the robot) to leave a message, but the mailbox is full. All to make an appointment and get another runaround. The PO should take down the sign in their front window advertising this service - it's false advertising. I'll use an expediter, thank you!

In defense of the clerks @ Arlington heights post office, they're outward treatment to the general public has been compromised by terrible management in recent years. In my dealings with the Arlington heights post office, there has been one gentleman, I believe his name was martin, was the only manager who took the time to assist a customer with a bad issue, the lady manager, and postmaster have been nothing short of rude, condescending, and down right embarrassing to the name of the usps. Please, give these people a break, if angry, please direct it towards the poor management of this office, not the front line employees who do try to keep a smile on their face while serving us.

Worst service at the Arlington Hts. post office for passports!!! After several calls to make an appointment, which can't be done since, they NEVER answer their phone there. I had to go in to make an appointment. Went in today at my appointment time and the clerk said the passport person would be back in 10 min, because she went to lunch. So glad I made an appointment. I had ALL my paperwork filled out ahead of time to make the process go quickly and the clerk messed them up by misspelling my sons name on the application. So I had to fill out all the paperwork again. Then a man went to the next clerk to get his kids passports and the VERY RUDE lady named Lori bit my head off when I told the man to make an appointment while he is there since they NEVER answer the phone and Lori yelled at me
and said not to talk to the customer, she was. VERY RUDE!!!!

Is this a joke? You must make a reservation to get passports at the post office but when you call, the system wont transfer you to a person to make an appointment-way to go US gov!
