Registereled letter attempted delivery wednesday. We filled out the slip for redelivery on Saturday. We filled out online form for redelivery on Saturday. I called Saturday morning to confirm delivery. Post Office supervisor called postman, postman didnt have the letter, left it at the post office. Supervisor said I could come pick it up. I went to the post office. Stood around for 40 minutes, they never found the registered letter. No supervisor ever spoke to me even though I requested it on arrival. No effort to be even an average USPS employee. Please shutter this location and have Itasca post office absorb Addison.

Our carrier is not picking up or delivering mail daily. 1-2 times per week is not acceptable.

Our office had no mail service on July 5th. Tried calling and no answer. What is going on? So many problems with this Post Office. Unacceptable.

Just got part of our mail...with a monthly check shoved in our front door we normally dont use mixed in a mailer of fliers that was not our address. Why didn't this go into our mailbox like it normally does? Pretty disappointed. Miss our normal mail lady. We also get our neighbors mail on a regular basis.

My husband is a carrier for the post office. He didn't want to work for Addison because of our issues with them. This post office opens late I have businesses calling me because my mail is always returned. You call them problem is never fixed. My name is on box and today see mail delivered with RTS on it (return to sender). My problem will be solved. My family works for post office. My aunt is a postmaster as well. Will start reporting names.

This is the worst usps ever, not only people working there are are mean and not helpful but the carrier doesn't know what he's doing. Today was the third time in the past two weeks I got my neighbors mail. Not sure what happened to mine. We used to have a nice carrier who was responsible now he's been replaced by some person who clearly doesn't care at all!!!!

This is the worst post office!!! I work in Addison but must take the mail to Elmhurst. That is a 4.1 mile drive for me where the Addison usps is 1 mile. Why?? Mail not sorted, or looped so it comes back to Addison, or not put on truck till the next day. I have lost 12 customers because of them! I loose everyday I drive to Elmhurst. It is time for a shake up. Write to the Post Master General in WShington DC. Awful.

Addison Post Office Sucks..Filled out a change of address 1 month ago, still having my mail delivered to my old address..The mail person we comes different time and seems he doesnt have a set schedule unless sitting in his truck reading maz that are to be delivered..Can't tell you how many times I have received my neighbors mail, including his tax information..Either my mail person cant READ English or doesnt give a hoot who's mail is delivered to who as long as its out of his bag/truck.. They are sooo nasty when you complain at the post office..NEVER can you see the Post Master..the Supervisor there is a waste of tax payer's money..Then the system cries poor mouth and needs to increase stamps and other fees..

The private Sector Worker and the Public Sector Worker!
And always rememeber the public sector only provides services and are completely funded by the private Sector!
How long can this possibly last until the entire country is bankrupt?

I live on the West side of town. I have been living in Addison over 20 years at the same residence. I believe my old mail person which was a female has retired and has been replaced by a man. My old mail-person was very friendly, always on time, very methodical and meticulous about her job. She seemed very proud to have the opportunity to provide world class service to her customers.Well not so much anymore.Below are what I witnessed:· Mail is never on time anymore it could come early or late or not at all.
· I do what to let you know that I get a lot of mail and in the past I never went to my mail box and found it empty.
· Now I may not see mail for up to three days some times.
· I have found mail that never showed up not sure where it went?
· I do a lot of walking and while out on my walks, I find it interesting to find my mail persons truck always parked in hidden areas around the neighborhood.
· One day I saw parked back by the Joshua Witness building which is a very secluded area empty.
· One day I was down by the pond on Itasca road and the truck was parked under the tree in the shade around 4:30pm. The drive was in it siting with his eyes closed and the truck was running with the windows down. I was trying to figure why you would have the truck running with the windows down with the price of gas? Well I was
hanging around the pond for over a hour and the when I came back by the truck the engine was shut off and the mailman was nowhere in sight I believe he was sleeping in the back.
· No one is fooling anyone anymore all us tax payers know what is going on in the country.
· We are being forced by our own government to pay the high wages and pensions for these fools that will retire early while the rest of us in the real world are still working.
· Most of these government workers wouldn’t even be hired in the real world and if they were they would not last because they would have to work.
· This is a crime! It isn’t just this individual this is the entire government job culture across the board. Look at the DOT getting your license go to any public organization that faces the public and they act pi$$ off that they have to help you.
· In the real world most of these government employees would be terminated.
· But let’s all sit together around the camp fire holding hands singing “Kum By Ya” like good little American Tax Payers while the government is stealing us blind!!!!!

Everything you say above so true. And this one carrier is always talking to someone. It would be nice to have the same carrier all the time like we used to.Always get other people's mail. Lived here for 24 yrs plus too. Awful just awful. And what's worse is when you call to bring to their attention they are RUDE. The Addison post Office is the worst. Very sad for our community.

Absolute WORST post office I have ever experienced. Had a package overnighted, no request for signature, yet they didn't leave the package at my door and no one would help me get the package. I was told to find the delivery person in my neighborhood, 6 mail carriers later, no luck. The inside of this post office is also a complete and utter dump. They need to reconsider the employees they have working at the physical location and reevaluate the customer service they provide, or lack thereof.

Had the worst service from a rude employee named, Jae Kim. I went in to pick up a package, he asked how I knew it was there. I told him I was tracking it, and he said that it didn't mean anything. He said it wasn't there, when he didn't even look up my address. After three times of me asking if he could look for it, he finally went to the back and brought my package. I asked him why he couldn't find it before and said, "here's your package, goodbye." I've always had good visits going to the post office, but after this encounter, I now realize it's the WOMEN that give the great services.
