I miss sent a package on 16 January and just wanted to know what happened to it?? Sent from Carroll post office to area code 50323 in Urbandall Iowa. I wrote the address on the package incorrectly and it was never delivered as of 30 January. I had a return address on the package and it was not returned. I spoke to some one at the Carroll Post Office and they didn't know anything about it. No Help!!.

We have now received the same piece of a neighbor's mail for the 5th time. The first 3 times we just put it back in the outgoing mail with a note on it. The 4th time we brought it TO THE POST OFFICE and today we got it again along with another package for the same person at the same address. My 4-year-old neice can tell the difference between a 2 and a 4. Why can't an adult who's being paid figure this out?

I have a unique situation as a neighbor has the same number address as I do on our circle because the street name changes. For years we have received each others mail. Usually one item with the rest of our correct mail. We would just swing by and drop it off for each other. I finally got tired of doing this for the last 15 years or so. I have started putting the incorrect mail back in the box and raised the flag. I received a magazine incorrectly and put it back and popped the flag up. Today I find that they picked up the magazine and then turned around and delivered another one for the same neighbors with my regular mail. It baffles me at the gross incompetence displayed by these employees.

Since moving to Urbandale a year and a half ago, I am amazed at how many times I've had mail mis-delivered. I've lived in other towns in Iowa and in four different states and have never had so many issues. It's no wonder that the USPS is continuing to have financial issues if this is the kind of service they are delivering. By paying postage, we are entrusting USPS to take care of our packages and letters and that they will arrive in a reasonable time and TO THE PLACE THEY ARE ADDRESSED! Neither of these basic expectations are being met by the Ash Creek post office.

Always in a mistake delivering my package to me leaving it the wrong apartment building. I have lost to many package in the past. They need to focus on the buildng address and then apartment number. Not apartment number only. The two building has the same apartment number but different address numbers on the buildings. Tired of worrying about if im going to get my packages. This just much. Urbandale needs to train there employee s. Correctly. Otherwise it well be a lot of problems in the future.

I came in today wanting to purchase a roll of stamps. Just a simple roll of stamps. I want picky about the design like the guy in front of me. Or need to fill out a long form like the gal also in front of me. But even though the young man had several rolls in his hand, he couldn't sell them to me. I had to take books. I didn't want books. I have a dispenser that takes rolls. i can understand if he didn't have any but to show me TEN rolls and refuse to sell them is a ridiculous business practice.

PASSPORT "SERVICE" IS NON-EXISTENT. 2 different websites for Ash Creek listed 2 different times in which they do passports (by appt. only). So I tried calling to make an appt. & ask questions, but only got a busy signal. Since they weren't answering their phone, I packed up the kids and went there. The front door even says passports by appt. only. As I stood in line, I continued to call the very post office I was standing in - to make an appt. - only to hear their phone in the background ringing off the hook ignored. Finally, when I get to the counter to explain I tried to call to make an appt. (but it was busy), and tried to call while standing in line (but they didn't answer), could they help me now? The lady explains "Our manager had a conference call earlier, and we don't answer the phones when we're busy at the counter. The earliest we can do it would be Monday." Today was Wednesday...5 days from now? Really, USPS? Really? I would much rather you say you just don't offer passport services rather than to waste my time.

I have a complaint regarding the Post Office in GENERAL not this particular one. In fact, I have found this post office has always been good to me and taken time to help me although the wait can be terrible. I was NOT happy with the fact that when I mailed Christmas packages they had ONE clerk only helping people with a very long line there. However, I'm not sure if that was their local scheduling or the post office regulations and cutbacks in general. What I'm really upset about is I mailed several packages via Priority mail. At least all packages but ONE made it. Unfortunately, that ONE was my Son's which meant the world to me. The tracking shows it delivered but it was NOT delivered to him. He was home that entire evening watching Football so he would have got it had they delivered to his house. Further, I called and got them ONCE. They gave me a confirmation #CA120999713 and were suppose to call me back no later than three days. I guess I was an IDIOT to think they would really call me back! Then, I tried calling them back/have been on hold for over an hour. When I tried to register online it showed something with the password at the end. However, it also showed that the password was ok but it wouldn't allow me to set up an account. I've tried calling them/been on hold for over an hour now. Also, tried to leave a message on their site m regarding postal experience and couldn't access that site! I'm really fed up at this point! Oh and not only did they NOT deliver my Son's package to him they also were late getting a package to a dear friend due to the package setting in one post office for THREE days! Can you say DISGUSTED! Except for oversea packages to our military, USPS has just lost a customer. I will use UPS in the future every opportunity I get! And they wonder why the Post Office isn't getting as much business as they use to? Spell me DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!!!! Iris Eng

They only accept passport applications/renewals by appointment only so these hours are wrong. I have tried for 2 days to call to schedule the appointment but no answer. Why are they making this so difficult?

I'm with Jean. Every time I have gone in, there are no less than 10 people in line waiting for 2 of the slowest counter gals ever, who work without any sense of urgency, to see just how long they can make each customers transaction take. It's maddening!

The ash creek post office in Urbandale has some of the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Last year I spent $97,000.00 dollars with the United States Post Office. I don't complain or cause problems. I just ask that they scan my packages in the way that they are suppose to. Scanning is after all part of the service that I am paying for. The last month
