The mail in my neighborhood is not being delivered every day. The last time any of us received mail was Dec.21st/22nd. What can be done about this. We are not receiving bills, or other small packages. The flag on our mailbox has been up since Monday and no mail vehicles have come down our street for several days now. Please advise!! Our neighbors are having the exact issues.

I'm having the same issue. Not sure if my neighbors are getting mail, but I haven't gotten anything for at least a week, not even junk mail. A package I'm expecting says USPS could not access the delivery location on 12/21/22 and they would try again the next delivery day, but there have been no more updates since then. I share a community mailbox with many other homes in my neighborhood, so I'm assuming no one in my area has gotten mail since last week either.

my mail is not being delivered every day. I know since the mail is not picked up when I have the flag up and letter to go out is not picked up My mail is not all being delived when I do send something and also not getting all my mail that people say they send me. Also not all my bills are getting to me and then they say I am late and get charged a late fee. I know the gas is high but we need a mail person to get the job done right. Mary j

Keep getting neighbors mail. Left it in mailbox and put letter head up and still did not pick up. If cars are blocking them I need to know they are not my vehicles and will address with them.

Tried to report fraud mail I've been receiving for years from Saint Matthew's Churches, Tulsa, OK. Several Internet reports they are a fraud, yet have been in biz for decades ripping off the public! Phone answerer said she could do nothing about it. Not helpful––What good are you???

Over and over my packages are damaged or delivered to the wrong address, I'm constantly getting other people's mail, I really don't understand why it's so hard to READ the address on what you're delivering and take it to the correct location without playing soccer with it.

Today is 08-28-2021 and I took my dogs for a walk. For the second time I have found one of my pieces of mail part way down the block on the sidewalk. I also found one under the porch and one in the yard. All single pieces of mail and all at different times. This time it was a medical bill. I am really concerned about what other mail we haven't received because this medical bill said it was delinquent. I always pay everything the day after I receive it. Additionally, we receive other people's mail on a monthly basis -- insurance papers, tax documents and renewal documents, court papers... this has got to stop. Our mailman is wonderfully nice, but there are a LOT of mistakes. I do not know if it is our regular mailman or a substitute for the weekend slot, but I would hope that they are put through a rigorous screening. I would also hope that since the post men and women work for the government, that they also are required to abide by the laws in regard to mail tampering because essentially, that what is happening through the careless and negligent way in which the mail is being handled. If a person did not receive the important documentation they were supposed to have received through the mail, it could set off a chain of events -- missed court dates, missed jury duty, missed bills, missed IRS or other tax and financial obligations. This, in turn, would cause undue emotional duress, embarrassment, damage to someone's reputation or credibility and financial hardship. This needs to be addressed and it needs to be addressed now.

How do I lodge a formal complaint about not getting our mail? We are a bank - an essential service - and we can go an entire week and not have our mail delivered. We have no box so the mail has to be dropped off at the bank by the carrier. I just stopped the mail truck and was handed 25 pieces of mail that included deposits and loan payments. I have called repeatedly and registered complaints with the Iowa City post office but nothing changes. How do we fix this??

Hello, Please adviser as how to message postal carriers not to walk in my yard. I have rose bushes on the edge of the drive and am fearful that these will be stepped upon. In addition, I am currently attempting to grow grass and fear that carriers will crush the seed or even walk away with it. For some time there was a beep that went off on a device the carriers carried that reminded them not to walk on the yard. We have many substitutes who carry these days and too often they walk across the yard. I do have a not marking on the mailbox to affirm this request, but it is often ignored. I do not desire to add to the day but when I am trying to protect plants and in winter time spend hours shoveling snow I am annoyed when carriers walk across the yard. Today I tried to stop a carrier but he ignored me as I politely called out to him. Please advise as the best way to be courteous toward as I do so value the service.

Why is there a phone number for the Post Office if they are not going to answer the phone? Have received a lot of mail for other people in the past few months. Now they tell me a package could not be delivered even after we have lived in the same place for over 50 years. Really!

Having same Issues of Mail returned to sender as " NO SUCH ADDRESS " Though the address Is correct ! These where sent from several businesses ! Also we receive several letters with " FW " circled then crossed out ! I'm guessing this means FORWARD from a shipping stand point ! these letters where anywhere from 10 -14 days late from mailing date !! Wondering with so many Incidents If this falls under " Mail tampering " !!

Absolutely horrible, have had countless packages “lost” and never arrive at my Home. anything that comes from there has probably a 60% it makes it to your front door. If something is supposed to come in 3-5 buisness days you will not see it for 13-15 buisness days if your lucky.
