I would like to register a complaint regarding one of the employees at this post office. I called on April 17th around 1:35pm Central time, 2:35pm Atlanta time, to ask about protocol for holding mail. The lady, I believe her name was either Ms. Watson or Watkins (I had to ask several times, and she was very short with me) was extremely rude, and very short on the phone. She kept talking over me, and would not let me complete my sentences. Her tone was as if I was bothering her. She never resolved my issue, and was very condescending.
Customer Service is awful. I called at 9:00am inquiring on passport. . I asked if appointment was needed. The male on phone stated hold on. I held on for 10 minutes for him not to come back to the phone. I called back 15 later 9:15am and can you beleive no one answered the phone. I got in my vehicle drove10 miles;stood in line; line long. After standing in line approximate 10 minutes; a male teller asked if anyone needed passport? He stated you must make an appointment. Pissed! He was very saccastic and smirked with a customer after I told hm I called and someone just left the phone and did not come back. Then I was told to make an appointment. ANother teller (lady) not pleasant at all. I asked for Post Master Name she gave it to and then I asked if she was in buidling this at 11:00am she stated no. Seveal customers in line were speaking of their bad experience at this office. Another lady standing in long line asked about passport photos; male teller said that she is in wrong line. She was upset! Got to do better. My first visit and will be my last visit. Ms. Jackie Spratley check your employees they need to revisit a customer service class or moved to another area where they are not in contact with customers.
the guy that delivers the mail always shows up late and never on time. Our mail sometimes does not get delivered until 6pm. Never rings the door bell to deliver packages and always will cram letters and packages in the mail box, when the letters specifically states "DO NOT BEND" on it. The office location itself is aweful, the lines are always long, the employees always seem to have a chip on their block.
I'm Having a lot of problems with the guy that deliver my mails..if he's got a package instead of bring it to my patio he will do whatever he can to fit the package inside the mailbox, which is resulted for me to replace my mailbox, he's got a real bad attitude and don't want to do his Job...I have complain about him to the Stockbridge office before.
Extremely disappointed in Stockbridge P.O. Mailed a Schedule II drug prescription last month, regular mail, and it disappeared. This month I sent it Priority 2-day on the 11th, which has tracking number. Stockbridge location tracking simply says 'in transit' at Stockbridge location and has said it for two or three days now. It is the 15th. Four days for a 2-day Priority Mail envelope? Must file a police report on them tomorrow. Meanwhile, I have gone without my medication for two months now thanks to them.
I would like to compliment your postal employee (Anthony Fletcher) who works at the Stockbridge, GA post office location. He weathered the snow storm today and was one of the only employees that did not call in and selected to weather the storm. I truly commend him for that bravery! To top it off, he provided me with excellent customer service and answered all of my questions. Thanks Anthony!
